Another great lesson Andrew! I have struggled mightily with this over the years. I would resist hinging well into the top of the backswing and would almost have the shaft dropping where it would hit my back at the top. All a waste of energy and power. I have played using the Faldo drill on the course and it just made the game so much simpler. Your tips on the hinge are very useful! Thank you again and looking forward to the hinge on the downswing!
Hi Sean, thanks for the comments and your donation, much applicated. Be good to have a look at the swing in the Academy sometime. I think you have a lesson Voucher to use?
I like the hinge, even use it some times while pitching for more finesse and control shots. Thanks.. No two swings are the same unless they all go to the same school....Find Your Own Swing, the One you came in with....I like that...
Great video Andrew, thanks. My irons are 15 years old and feel heavy compared to friends' clubs. Are modern irons lighter and if so easier to use, especially as you get older & weaker, mindful of the tiny margins of error when striking the ball?
Hi Steve, thanks for the question.Without a doubt you would see a difference in performance. Give me a call and we can do a custom fit comparison for you. No hard sell or obligation to purchase.
Hi Andrew, Max is still doing well and started senior school this week. Well be needing new clubs some time /1 What do you think of the Ping Junior range ?
Hi Mike, had no experience fitting the Ping Junior range. I am sure they are very good. I think the other option would be to look at a used set of ladies clubs for Max.
Thank you for clear, easy to follow advice.
Glad it was helpful!
Another good lesson, you keep it simple, as you get very old ( nearly80 ) it’s great to just have one thought at a time.
Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks Andrew , this reminds me to get back to basics as a reminder of what to do . 👍🏼🙏🏼

Totally agree
Nice video Andrew
Glad you enjoyed it
Great Andrew it is easy to hinge wrists incorrectly .
Hi Richard, it can be a confusing movement in the golf swing. I think the basic wrist hinge drills will give you a good chance to get it right.
