And again I miss one of the most extraordinary Places in Germany : Kassel .UNESCO World Culture Heritage ,Capital of modern Arts ( Home of the documenta every 5 years ) in the middle of Germany. So if you like it a bit older : Wilhelmshöhe Castle , Löwenburg ,Herkules monument and the Watergames in the greatest Mountain Park in Europe . Never forget Grimms world and all the other remarkable Museums (many) and the University. Curious ? There are lots of videos in the net !!! 🥰

1:28 Oh my god, there's a mistake in the first scene. There is no Miss Oktoberfest, only the Munich Kindl. The recording probably comes from the USA. greetings from Nuremberg

Dass der Ton fehlt, ist zwar schade, aber man sieht an ihren Augen und der Mimik, wie fasziniert sie ist, an einer Stelle weint sie fast 😊

Isn't America even more stunning? As a German these pictures are common to me, I take them somehow for granted. That is a mistake, I know. But girl, you just went into tears and then I think of your national parks, of San Francisco, of New Orleans, New York, Hollywood, Florida and and and. Gosh, I wish I'll make it there one day. Our earth is a gem!!!! Isn't it?

Neuschwanstein is a tourist trap, avoid it, you won't have a good time there. Visit a few of the hundreds of other well preserved castles that are less crowded and often have more historical significance than Ludwig II's frivolously overpriced weekend getaway fake castle (built at a time when castles were already obsolete as military fortifications and consequently built for style over functionality). They did mention the 1.4 million tourists a year - divided by 365 that would be 3.800 people per day (and that is calculated generously, since Neuschwanstein isn't open every day of the year). Those masses are herded through the castle in very rushed tours, you hardly have time to see everything and if you happen to be less tall than average, you will often see mostly other people's backs.

4:04: King Ludwig was gay and even after married a woman, he had a love affair with his medical doctor. His death is not so mysterious as you think. He went into a lake for suicide because in this old days you are not gay, but he was. And he couldn‘t live with this.

      Ludwig II never married.
And the rest of what you posted is utter bullshit, too.

@@FlorianH0867- either that tour guide was a moron, or you didn't understand a word he/she said.
Ludwig II broke off his engagement to Sophie Charlotte in Bayern (Empress Elisabeth's younger sister) on October the 7th, 1867.
      He never got engaged again.
Furthermore, there are many theses about Ludwig II's death.
Some speak of suicide, some of murder.
NONE - absolutely NONE - of them has a thing to do with him not coping with his homosexuality.
