I think the only song in rock history that has the line "Dog Gone " in the lyric. Mercy.. just think what some rapper would spit out today.. Sooo sad.
It isn't, but it's a damn fine song. (There's actually a song called "I'll Be Doggone" by Marvin Gaye.)
There's Outside Woman Blues by Skip James which was turned into a rock song by Cream. "They're so dog gone crooked..."
Carl was my favorite. He got better looking as he got older and he could sing like an angel. Sure miss him. My least favorite is Mike Love. He is as ego maniacal as Carl was down to earth.
