As one of those who asked for a comparison between this N60 and the F9, thank you. I had a feeling that they would trade blows, but had no idea how neck-and-neck they are performance-wise! I'm personally using the N60's on my Kia Soul H13 reflectors, and tried really hard to aim them as low as they could go, and sadly where I live essentially requires you to be a literal goat living on steep hills. Every once in a while, I do get flashed by a driver across me on a stoplight intersection, though only if said driver is stopped at a lower incline than me if that makes sense. I have no foglights and am not stupid to run high beams on a busy intersection, so it does make me feel bad. Adding foglights to my 2nd gen Soul Basic trim will be my next little project. All that being said, I am chasing for the brightest LEDs for reflectors, and while not by much, it does look like the F9's take the crown for my needs, but the higher wattage draw compared to the N60's does put me on the fence. I'll definitely keep an eye on your channel, for sure. Thanks again!

Thanks for the review on another very impressively bright LED light. Though it’s the brightest of all, as a projector headlight vehicle owner the typical weak spot is just too weak for me for the immediate front area of the vehicle. The Hikari Taitanova still the winner in this area for me along with the 85% retaining light output.

Hello, I have been using the F9 in my 2005 Camry and 2009 Altima since August 2022 without any issue of overheating or with the wiring harness or connector. The Factory halogens max at 65W, and the F9 pulls about 80W, so the wire gauge is able to work with the F9.
i bought this lights for my golf 6 , and yeah the light output is similar to those who have full led headlights from the factory. after just 20-30 mins of driving the light output does drop but you wont even notice it how bright these are.
my car stock halogen bulb are 55w each … Is it safe to directly use this led of 100 w. Not sure if it will burn or melt the stock wiring or my projector..Kindly advise
As shown in the video, the N60 uses around 65W, so it's nowhere near 100W. Our Diamond Vision F9 bulb uses 80W and is safe for cars as the wire gauge is thick enough
@@haseebakbar914 it depends on the wire gauge/thickness. I have been using the F9 (80W per bulb) on a 2005 Toyota Camry and a 2009 Nissan Altima for 14 months now without any problems.
What I'm gathering is, no LED would be good for a dual Lo/Hi projector? That common "weak spot" would be the same on the top of the cut off line when in high beam mode. I have DDM Tuning Acc/V2 55w, which is a good set for normal driving but the moment I use the high beam, you can barely see the difference. When I have HID in the projector, you can tell when I have high beams on. :(
I decided on these N60 after your review. Bought thru Amazon. But the bottom of the light where fan is does not have a silver housing like in your video (or pics on vendor website). Basically fan is completely exposed on the end. Did I get a fraud product? Thanks
In my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs, look at column U if you have a projector headlight and column Y if you have a reflector headlight. That shows you light output after 27 minutes of use (what you can expect to be usable after you drive around for a while).
I bought N30S for Toyota H11 projectors and there is a dark spot or as it was known in HID era "shadow effect" What made me choose N30S was your review and as I'm watching this video i can still see this dark spot in this model.
@@CarLightReviews not exactly...Some LED give a noticeable shadow effect and some others don't If it's a thin bulb or maybe extra bright then there is no big issue and with HID bulbs i can use H11B which is the correct one from my projectors. Some other cars need to choose H11A for HID.There is a video on yt comparing them and explaining the difference between them. In my case i had to return N30S bulbs because even though they were okay in terms of brightness they had a big dark spot in beam pattern. Now I'm trying to figure out which Novsight can work the best in my headlights or i should look for something else
Is the adjustable colar made of plastic? More specifically, the three bits that stick out and are used for lining in and locking the light in the housing.
Your 2007 DTS says it comes with Factory HID (bulb size D1S) so you'd have to replace those xeon halogen with a better quality halogen D1S. But your fog lights are 9055 size 25 Watt (same as 9005 size), so you could put a much brighter 9005 LED bulb in your fogs which would help.
There are no LED headlight upgrades like the one in this video made in the USA that I know of. The closest is the Diode Dynamics SL1, which is assembled in the USA with offshore components.
When the light is powered on, the components generate heat which reduces light output. The better the design and quality of the light, the better it can manage and regulate heat over time. Most level off after a few minutes.
That depends on what I need from an LED upgrade. What is most important in an LED lighting upgrade for YOUR needs? Brightness? Value? Quality? Pick two of the three...and what you pick might be different than what I would. Then, take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review/compare the data based on the two categories you chose. That should help!
Just ordered this in H4 size because of your video! I live in the country, will this be top 3 brightest LEDs available? Also, will 100W be okay on a 2007 Honda wire harness?
Have a look at my data spreadsheet carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and note columns R, T, V and X for brightness test results. As far as wiring for your Honda, I always suggest that you consult your favorite social media group or message board specific to your vehicle.
Very good detailed review. Got yourself a new subscriber here! If I may ask, can I replace my halogen 55w foglights h11 with this knowing that it only draws 66watts in actual? I badly need your answer. Thanks!
Thanks, glad you liked this video and you subscribed. I really appreciate it. Typically, there are no major issues when using LED headlghts. Most factory wires feeding headlights are 16 gauge. A 16 gauge wire is capable of up to 13amps. Amps = watts+volts. So, even if your battery is almost dead (8-10 volts) you won't be pulling more than 8ish amps. I would personally still double check that your headlight fuses are rated for that amperage. If you only have one fuse for both headlights, make sure it's at least a 15 and that the wires connected to the headlights, correspond correctly in size for that amperage. Your only real concern, is the bulb itself shorting out. Which would likely be due to an overheating condition or, a very wet condition, leading to the internal components frying, thus causing a short. Just don't wire both of these lights to a single side. Keep them separate on driver/passenger like the OEM intended.
Thanks for the N70 heads-up, bro! I contacted Novsight, and the representative mentioned they don't have an ETA for US sales yet. I was tempted to grab the N60s on sale, but I'll hold off. The N70 specs are impressive at 240W, 50K lumens per pair, and 6500K. Currently using Luxster Punishers H11 6000K, which are fantastic! However, I'm cautious about the 6500K in the N60s and N70s since 6000K seems to offer more usable light to my eyes. I've heard Luxster is releasing a new bulb soon too. By the way, I was initially skeptical about LEDs, but after upgrading my GTR H11 HID 35W Kit to Luxster LEDs, there's no turning back.👍🏻

I'm looking to get some better led bulbs. I have the led Sylvania lights that are at autozone and stuff. They're similar looking as far as design and they have a external driver but how do they stack up to these? Would I see improvement going to something like these?
Hi! I really like your videos. Because of you I ordered the N60 for my MB W211 (shipping from US to Germany). In GER we barely have high quality aftermarket LED distributors. I have one question regarding the location of the ballast. I am not sure if this will also fit into the headlight housing. If it would fit, is it a good idea to do so because of the heat or should I place it outside of the headlight? If placed outside, how can I re-seal the headlight after cutting through the dust-cap e.g. Do you guys have a good solution?
Typically, IF there is space, the driver is tucked into the headlight assembly, between where the LED light mounts and the outer shell where the dust cap mounts. Every vehicle is different with different headlight assembly designs. Not to mention, drivers are often different per LED headlight upgrade as well. I always suggest that you consult your favorite social media group or message board specific to your vehicle to see if there is advice that can be offered.
From my experience in a W202, the dust cap doesn't fill back because the fan is just in the way. Besides, if you cover it up you might restrict the air flow for the fan and eventually cook the LED as well.
can one replace the halogen 55w bulbs with these leds? given the wattage difference one consume 100 and the haolgen oem consume 55. is it safe for the wiring and the heat?
I just installed them in my car and I feel like they are way too bright and I’m scared they will burn my projector headlights, are these bright enough to damage a brand new cars projector headlights? The light is also scattering a bit around the edges so does that mean they are too bright? Thanks
Reflector is just a focusing mirror so very little light is lost through the reflection. Projector is a focusing lens and light output is reduced though it.
Hi what about the wattage of the car operating system is 55-60 watts. How the 80-100 watts affect my wiring system? Will it cause my harness or socket to burn out after a while?
Sounds a bit more like a vehicle issue and not a headlight issue. I suggest that you consult your favorite social media group or message board specific to your vehicle. Sorry that I can't help more!
Good information. But I have no idea how well this would work, or not with an older car like my 06 Tahoe which takes 9005 (high) and 9006 (low) bulbs, let alone the reflector style of an older vehicle or the high power demand on the vehicle's wiring. I have new light enclosures so not yellowing or fogging (TYC CAPA). Any further information would be helpful. Or is is best to go with a high end (more expensive) Philips NightGuide Platinum halogen as a compromise vs the $5 OEM long life bulbs? My light output currently sucks, that's why I'm looking around. ALSO, I hear negative things about fan noise from LED lights; I'm very sensitive to extra noises. And last but not least, do these lights use PWM (pulse width modulation)? That's a deal breaker for me. PWM is very painful for me on anything LED light based. I had some LED lights on my riding mower that really killed my eyes and head when mowing after dark. I then found brighter LED lights (AuxBeam) that are brighter and do not use PWM and cause me no pain at all. Thanks!

Most vehicles typically don't require an adjustment collar. When installed, ensure that the LED emitters fire in the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock directions in projectors or perpendicular to the ridges in the reflector bowl (which is also usually the same 9-3 orientation). The adjustment collar becomes necessary only when the mounting design prevents this or the reflector ridges are on an angle.
@@CarLightReviewsThanks for fast answer! Unfortunately this bulb in H13 has no way to adjust, or loosen. My passenger side bulb is not clocked correctly. Also on my 2007 Ram 2500, I had no low beams until I installed an Amazon ballast kit. I'm going to buy a bulb that has adjustable collar. Any suggestions???

I always suggest that you consult your favorite social media group or message board specific to your vehicle. Also, very important....aim your headlights correctly after you install.
I do point that out, but here's a question... Where does that dead spot land on the road surface in your intended vehicle? Can you see it over the hood from the driver seat? I am curious.

Whenever I search N60, not a single listing has N60 in the title, nor the specs. I’m trying to see model numbers and they’re not at all saying “N60”. As shown in the video, the N60 uses around 65W, so it's nowhere near 100W. Our Diamond Vision F9 bulb uses 80W and is safe for cars as the wire gauge is thick enough
@@DiamondVisionLEDwhat about jdm kei cars that have stock wiring maxing out for usage at 55 watt?
@@haseebakbar914 it depends on the wire gauge/thickness. I have been using the F9 (80W per bulb) on a 2005 Toyota Camry and a 2009 Nissan Altima for 14 months now without any problems.

@@CarLightReviews Your Welcome !
Thank you for your great videos !
Glad you like them! Thank YOU!
Awesome video.
Sir can I replace 55w halogen bulb with this 100 w led bulb?
Can you please make one 35w and one 50w HID review. Only to have the hid numbers in the table for comparison. Are the Novsight better than a HID kit?
Should measure the actual color temp compared to the factory claims as well, if possible.

Thanks for the sub! later this year I am improving my testing methods to also include color temp.

I decided on these N60 after your review. Bought thru Amazon. But the bottom of the light where fan is does not have a silver housing like in your video (or pics on vendor website). Basically fan is completely exposed on the end. Did I get a fraud product? Thanks
It is hard to say, sometimes designs change over time or can also be dependent on the light size. Which size did you order?
@@CarLightReviews thanks for the response. I ordered 9005 and H7. Both versions no longer have a plate on the end covering the fan.

Which ones to this day and time do you currently say is the brightest pair of LED headlights?
In my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs, look at column U if you have a projector headlight and column Y if you have a reflector headlight. That shows you light output after 27 minutes of use (what you can expect to be usable after you drive around for a while).
I bought N30S for Toyota H11 projectors and there is a dark spot or as it was known in HID era "shadow effect"
What made me choose N30S was your review and as I'm watching this video i can still see this dark spot in this model.
If I am hearing you correctly, the dark spot is there no matter what light upgrade you use?
@@CarLightReviews not exactly...Some LED give a noticeable shadow effect and some others don't
If it's a thin bulb or maybe extra bright then there is no big issue and with HID bulbs i can use H11B which is the correct one from my projectors.

You might be able to...but I don't know if it would be an improvement. The jury is still out on that one.

In these situations, I always suggest that you consult your favorite social media group or message board specific to your vehicle.
I have a 07 dts Cadillac it has projector headlights what do you think I should use fixing to upgrade because my light are very dul thank you
Your 2007 DTS says it comes with Factory HID (bulb size D1S) so you'd have to replace those xeon halogen with a better quality halogen D1S. But your fog lights are 9055 size 25 Watt (same as 9005 size), so you could put a much brighter 9005 LED bulb in your fogs which would help.
can you rate the novsight n67 lamp. Thank you very much
Yes! In my next video! 😁
are they made in USA or China ? Thanks
There are no LED headlight upgrades like the one in this video made in the USA that I know of. The closest is the Diode Dynamics SL1, which is assembled in the USA with offshore components.
So after turning your lights on for a while they tend to go down in brightness ?
When the light is powered on, the components generate heat which reduces light output. The better the design and quality of the light, the better it can manage and regulate heat over time. Most level off after a few minutes.
Would you go with these or hikari titanova?
That depends on what I need from an LED upgrade. What is most important in an LED lighting upgrade for YOUR needs? Brightness? Value? Quality? Pick two of the three...and what you pick might be different than what I would.
Then, take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review/compare the data based on the two categories you chose. That should help!
Just ordered this in H4 size because of your video! I live in the country, will this be top 3 brightest LEDs available? Also, will 100W be okay on a 2007 Honda wire harness?

@@CarLightReviews thanks for the response! I already have the n60 in my fogs and been using for almost a month with no issues! ❤️
You have to review the new novsight n70 240w!

Hi, can you compare Novsight N60 vs N62Y? Thanks
Anyone has a working link to these? I cant find them only different models!

can i use N60 for low beam and n37 for high beam? or I must go with N60 for the headlights also?
man... won't these things burn your wirings? i think halogen bulbs only pulls 60 watts max.
Hi! Did you find the answer to this question? Im in the same situation. My stock halogen is 55w rated and i wanna replace it with this.
How is the Lux reading doubled for reflector lamps vs projector?
Reflector is just a focusing mirror so very little light is lost through the reflection. Projector is a focusing lens and light output is reduced though it.
Hi what about the wattage of the car operating system is 55-60 watts. How the 80-100 watts affect my wiring system? Will it cause my harness or socket to burn out after a while?

I have the same problem chevy tahoe 2016
Have theses in my fogs in my 2011 infiniti m37 fixing to put them in my projector headlights 😮
Thanks!
What do you think is overall better these vs the DV f9?

Novsight won't stand behind there warranty! They said it was because I installed them in a truck and installing them in a truck burns the bulb
That doesn't seem logical for them to deny the warranty because it is installed in a truck. Is that the exact words they used?
@CarLightReviews I will send you screen shots of the conversation.
can i use this on a motorcycle ?
I believe you can if they make one that is the right size and it fits.
I cant see anyway to adjust the collar to key the alignment.
Very disappointed!
Does the led chip need to be left/right or up/down
When installed, ensure that the LED emitters fire in the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock directions (left and right) in projector headlights.
