Picked up Polo Green because of this video. Immediately reminded me of my uncle when I tried it. Called him and turns out he's been wearing it since '78! Absolutely love it.
I had a similar occurrence when I bought Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. The first spray transported me to every wedding reception I attended as a kid. Turns out it's a common fragrance among my uncles 😂

You left out Viking?! Old school fougere type fragrances are the embodiment of that classic manly essence, and Viking is the classiest fougere I've ever smelled
Wearing viking today. It is definitely an acquired taste. I prefer MFK Masculine Pluriel as it is a bit fresher and does last a long time especially for an EDT

I don't think there is a single fragrance out there that suits your criteria better than Sauvage Elixir. It has everything from citrus and woods to patchouli and lavender on an ever so slighly ambery base. And unlike Eau Sauvage, which leans way too much into the fougere side of things and muddies some of the notes, this one feels very crisp, yet elegant in its delivery.

Prefer Viking Cologne. The opening mint note on Viking is a bit on the harsh side.
The opening only lasts 30 minutes at the most. Judging by a fragrances opening is not a seasoned move. @@detsportsfan18

The Egoiste smells stinky in my nose, but the Egoiste Platinum smells great and I bought it immediately in Chanel store.
