THE LITTLE MERMAID is based on Hans Christian Andersen's poem, "The Little Mermaid," sometimes translated into "The Little Sea Maid" or simply, "The Mermaid. It was originally published in 1837.
Classics Illustrated Magazine's original 169 editions were published from 1941 through 1962 (from 1941 through 1947, they were known as CLASSIC COMICS). In the 1950's & 1960's, these original magazines were reprinted with different covers than the original 169.
Classics Illustrated also published a spin-off series of 77 myth and legend, folk and fairy tale adaptations called Classics Illustrated Junior, from October 1953-August 1962. This video is of one of the "Junior" issues, published in April 1956, Issue #525.
Please enjoy the video, which includes every panel, every frame of the comic book. It's complemented with background music & a few sound FX thrown in here & there!

The upcoming MCU Tony Stark Dr Doom mashup... it'll flounder. Just like the previous the previous Dr Doom adaptations in the previous Fantastic Four reboots.
Victor Von Doom is unique. Not a corporate raider who happens to wield electricity after the same accident that originated the FF. Instead a Roma. A wanderer. Practiced in the ancient mystical learning. A monarch. Proud. Like Lucifer in Paradise Lost.
