I think I speak for everyone when I say that sigmas one shot combo was not a problem like hog/widow and there is no good in nerfing sig in this way.
I would've thought they would change his mitigation if anything.

Yeah I've never had a problem with sigma. He doesn't just yeet a rock he makes it first - and I play by cover. So yeah...pretty easy to dodge. And I'm typically expecting it bc I'm baiting it to me
Unlike a hog hook that grabbed you from around the corner across the map with no windup.
It's probably a change for metal ranks to decrease the feels bad moments of getting one shot. I'm actually curious to see if the longer stun duration might be better in higher tier play.
@@defenestrate7544 Yeah that's basically it. Metal ranks getting salty that they can't run into the face of a tank and instead get punished for it.
The fact that they thought Sigma needed changes tells me what I've suspected for a long time.
The balance team don't actually play the game they work on.

They tend to not do ultimates just abilities. The only time they messed with one shot ultimate is with reinhard but rien has charge With less armor now.
2weeks in season they will nerf zarya and brigg and queen cause if they buff brigg ult zarya and queen is gonna go wild "joats" could work again what mean u just hold w and kill what u see thats gets u the most forum posts so they gonna change brigg for sure or zarya or bouth
Orisa's javelin can basically one shot to in reality of how sigma needs to aim and actually get his one shot to. So they should nerf orisa's javelin

Hanzo is pain to play against as well as widow i don’t know what to do when i play against them 🥲
honestly depending on whats meta widow isnt too bad to deal with, as long as there isnt hog meta then winton ball or dva can kill widow pretty easily. hanzo however plays near his team meaning diving hanzo means diving the enemy team as well.
Not really inconsistent. Widow and hanzo are both damage characters, meant to deal damage, while sigma is a tank, whose main purpose (not only purpose) is to tank damage. (But then again, I’m really bad so I probably don’t know what I’m saying)

Sigma got me through competitive in ow 1 and he was my first gold gun, I don't play him as often but respect him as my first main, this nerf is stupid, the mythic skin is amazing
You'd think they'd at least buff him a little to sell battle passes lol instead of giving him an unnecessary nerf
His 1 shot only punished people that deserved to be punished and it was still difficult to pull off.

they literally nerfed orisa and hog, orisa is garbage now and hog is.. still pretty good. Sigma needed a nerf, just not this.

Sym is not hard to deal with, after she uses TP, she’s free food, everybody just needs to delete her.
I like to play Symm, and honestly, if she’s not set up with some turrets having her back she’s an easy target. As the other reply said, if she doesn’t have time to set up her teleporter or it’s in cooldown she’s easy to kill.
Sym is a joke character, the turrents need a nerf

Still waiting for Widowmaker and Hanzo to have their one shots capability removed. I keep hearing it's bad for the game, can't let Hog or Sigma do it, why should the dps heros do it?
(Joking aside, I've said hero shooters in general shouldn't have one shots since prob 2017, and everyone thought I was salty or something. Nah. It's just not healthy for a hero shooter. CoD, sure why not. But not a game about teamwork.)

It is cause in the high ranks is really bad as he no longer one shot anyone. He just feeds ult charge and provides no ways to protect his team
Wouldnt call it just a nerf. Yes he cant quick combo 200HP anymore but the stun duration goes up and he has (like all tanks) a shorter time when slept by ana. Overall I would say slightly improvement of his playability
Not even close, having an extra .5 seconds doesn’t give enough time to do anything. They just straight up nerfed him and took away one of the most fun part of his kits
@@Zay-zi2te I think you underestimate how significant an 80% increase in stun duration is. Imagine if orisa javelin did 20 less damage but stunned for almost a full second. Imagine if doomfist's emp punch wall stun lasted 1.3 seconds compared to its current .75. Besides, the current rock combo still does 180 damage.
Everyone here complaining about the sigma nerf, Welcome ,the genji and doom mains will gladly take u to the "Blizz nerfs and buffs horribly" club

The one shot being gone is great, they actually did it before the masses noticed its broken for once unlike with Hog
Maybe because they are completely different. One is a skill shot that is instant and hitscan that leads to an insta kill. The other is a long chargeup that can be reacted to.

Mad because anyone under Diamond can't just sit down in one spot for the whole round, without getting sniped.
