think the problem is that there is also alot of console spectate games. but console platinum/diamond is mechanically on the same lvl as high silver/low gold on pc

My man at 1:44 has his shield up and the bastion 1 shot. Instead of sitting behind his shield and kill the bastion, he goes out of it in a straight line at a turrent bastion that again is 1 shot lol.
He keeps putting up the shield and walking past it!!!

He just used every cool down within 2 seconds, didn’t use natural cover, and used so much healing. I feel like sigma’s strength is doing high damage while using minimal heals and he just used so many resources.

Burst is a type of damage where damage is given instantaneously, or in intervals that immediately succeed each other (generally under a second or around second). Contrast this with Damage Over Time, which deal amounts over a period of a couple seconds (same concept with healing, to wit, Ana's healing bullets vs Mercy's healing beam)
I think poke damage can refer either to an inconsequential/easily healed amount of damage and/or damage that is dealt from a range, preferably behind cover. Poke damage I reckon is generally dealt in the prefight/neutral.
Tl:dr Burst and DoT are technical attributes that describe the mechanics of how a given ability deals damage, whereas poke refers to how a player deals damage in a more meta sense.
I kinda just hastily typed this definition up on my way to work, so it's definitely not refined and maybe not even entirely accurate lol so please feel free to add to it, tear it apart, etc.

Whenever this sigma kites, they turn their back to the enemy team and it's getting them killed, idk how Emongg didn't mention that. You have to fight back while kiting on a low mobility hero. But overall, watching that DVa never use her movement except to fly straight at a Sigma and get rocked every time was more painful.
I loved Sigma from OW1. He's my main in OW2. Any tips on finding decent players for comp? I'm always solo queuing.
Ow used to have a LFG feature but unfortunately removed it. Your best possible option could be joining the discord or content creators discords as they just about always have a LFG channel
Ive been soloq'ing too and went from unranked to masters 2 peak, you got this. Although it is harder with no communication
@@tankdjsims I mostly solo:q as well, there's still voice chat but it's very rare nowadays, compared to ow1 my experience was that 50% of the games had people talking in voice, now it doesn't even feel like 5%...

I was playing sig this morning and I was always frontlinign dealing damage and soaking damage but I finished the game as 8 kills and 7 deaths and 8k dmg but my soldier had 29 kills and 3k dmg😂😂

Looks more like a gold level game. If it's true that it is plat then congrats to them. But it looks more like low gold / high silver. And I didn't really see anything that would indicate to me he had learned his Sigma from Emongg. Nor did Emongg mention anything about it either.

No, this is basically right. The only separation between gold and plat is usually slightly better aim.
@@edwardking9359if you are talking about high gold low plat then mostly yes, but its not raw aim, its the consistency of hitting the shots. High plat is cooldown usage, ultimate timings and positioning as the main difference between low plat. Or its players who quite literally only counterswap tanks that get high plat. Because as soon as they find out the enemy tank can play around it or his team adjusts they get absolutely dominated.
The difference between a gold and a plat player is mainly cooldown usage not aim
