      after doing the extreme abs I thought the hard hard part was over EHN WRONG I took so many break, and the thing is I still have the ab challenge to do. Hopefully I can do these videos with more restraint in the future and last longer. I hate The Earthquake.

    Ughh I hate this workout. This are all super advanced moves and I get so frustrated because I can't do any of the moves for very long. Still managed to power thru tho. good luck to the rest of you!

    I have been doing this video since this series came out and it still kicks my butt. It's a good one. PS after doing pilates with Cassey for over 7 years the earthquake is still so challenging for me!

    Doing the beginners calendar 2.0, but today I didn't even want to work out, had zero motivation. but consistency is key so I did it anyways. But oh man! This was crazy! I'm shaking and had to rest many times, but did my best. Looking forward to getting stronger and maybe one day do this video properly all the way through!

      She actually ALWAYS does it, in almost every single video. It's because she usually talks in the middle, then forgets what number she's on.. Not sure why you're saying she never does it.

      Fiorella Ramirez Yes! The talking is meant to distract but after doing the same video a few times I just want to get through it and not listen to the stories. I much prefer a more structured routine.
      I think it's the ladder one that has the timer so you know how much longer you have of each move, makes me feel better about it all.

    When I started doing pilates over a year ago I just couldn't lift my body during those star abs but I kept training and last autumn I could already do a lot more moves. Now I can even do side planks with one leg up and things like that and it's so satisfying :)
    So thank you very much Cassey for being such a positive instructor, and don't ever give up, guys!

      Wish to lose 4 pounds within the first week? I was thinking this was insane, however, when I tried The Venus Factor, I was able to lose that much in a week!     Not only I was shaking involuntarily, I was LITERALLY in tears to keep my body from dropping, and I paused lots of time. This is (yet) an ultimate torture for a beginner like me...

    Î hate doing all the ones where your legs are supposed to be straight because I'm not flexible at all and I can't help but bend them! Even if someone else tries to push my legs into a straight position, it's simple not possible, they won't go where I want them to!

      its okay though, just keep working at it. try stretching a few minutes whenever you have time, even before bed is good.

      Maybe you have shorter muscles in the back of your legs... It's genetic... I'm like that and I can't even sit with my legs straight on the floor :/ and yes... I look awful in those moves xD

      I think it's there as something to work up to and do with breaks and beginner variations until you get there. I love when there's hard stuff like this on the beginner calendar. It motivates me to work my ass off until I can do it.

      Omg, same! I was so proud at how rolls up were actually easier and how I was getting through entire workouts and then BAM. I thought it was just me, but I’m glad to see it isn’t.

    OMG! This was by far the hardest workout for me in the beginners 2.0 calendar! I was sweating so hard! The only time I sorta stopped was during the star abs where you don't get up. It was hard for me to bring my legs closer like that. I'm so proud though! Be proud of your improvements guys!

      Me too, it didn't help that my legs are so inflexible that I can't wrap it around nicely together and I hate it, well best of luck to you!

      I had that in the beginning aswel. What i did was when my neck starts too hurt really badly just place a pillow or a ball under it until you get stronger. But only do this when it hurts and push yourself a little further every time. I can now do them without hurting my neck :D hope this helped xx

    MY ABS ARE ON FIRE. loving how there are people doing the beginners calendar on here. Very encouraging to read that there are others who all thought similarly. Im definitely feeling stronger after 2 weeks of consistent working out but DAMNNNN obv i got way more to go. YOU GUYS CAN DO IT. TRY YOUR BEST AND JUST KEEP GOING.

    I finally succeed to twist twice my leg during eagle abs. It takes almost 3years, since I've started blogilates 2017 march. I added this workout on 13th abs wo because i just felt like i want to. I love you so much cassey. You changed my whole lifestyle positive, active and healthy.🥰

    Ok. So after loosing 40 pounds a couple of years ago, i have gained 20 of it back. Why?
    I recently moved to another state to go to college. Classes at my school take up too much of my time. And my mother passed. I started eating bad foods, failing classes, and gaining back the pounds i worked so hard to loose. Seriously, I created a revolution in my high school after loosing the weight. Im only 5'3 and use to weigh almost 170 pounds. I was happy to see 127 after a year of working hard. And now after 4 moths i gained half of it back. Its the most frustrating thing. It takes so long to get results, yet so little time to destroy it all. I really hope to get back on track. So i can
    1. Fit into my jeans again -___-
    2. wake up feeling great again
    I really hope i can loose half the weight before 2015.

    About a million breaks but i did it! I´ve been on the beginners calendar for 12 days and I'm already feeling the change! Week 2 so far is a killer but man it´s worth it! For once in my life i look forward to working out because i know i do it for me, to build my strength and just overall be happier! so thank you Cassey!

    Today was the first day I've been able to do any type of workout in the past month! I'm so proud of myself for being able to get through all the videos with only a couple breaks! I've been so sick for the past month I wasn't able to walk and I had to use a wheelchair but I just started feeling better and now I can even work out again!

      +Kat K You just need to get stronger, it will happen over time! Concentrate on your lower ab muscles and consciously contract them. Just do the hardest version of the moves that you can without getting that hollow back because otherwise you'll never get rid of it. Push yourself to the limit of being able hold a good posture during the move, but never lose it so you are working the right muscles!

    I see a lot of people on here frustrated with the workout. If it was easy you wouldn’t get as good of a workout or as good of results. The harder it is the stronger you’ll become. Even if you need to modify, keep working up until you can do the full move. Mind over matter. You got this you guys. If you believe and stay positive you’ll do better each time. The more negative you are in your mind the less likely you’ll improve.

    I was trying out a 45 mins abs workout from another channel earlier and 30 minutes into it im just like this is quantity over quality. The video let us rest so much so that we can go for 45 minutes and my abs werent hurting at all. IM JUST LIKE IM DONE IM GONNA GO DO CASSEY'S STUFFS.

      Agree I’d honestly do a hard workout for 10-15 minutes and be done than muddle through a tame 45 minute video

    I LOVE the earthquake, but I hate it at the same time! It's so uncomfortable and hard but when I am doing it I feel really empowered and I really know that I'm improving! It's awesome!

    my abs died during this but theyre coming back to life to show through my stomach yeeayeaaa! I am soo ready to get my 6pack back this spring to be able to show them off in the summer. This is my ultimate go to ab work out, and i love it! THANK YOU CASEY

    I've been with you for about a month now, mostly doing the same few videos over and over. I tried this one today and that was definitely the craziest workout I've done yet! It was hard but I loved it so much! :)

    Okay Doing this made me realize how weak I am.. Seriously these workouts are TOUGH!!! Like no joke. I didnt think they would be that bad, but boy was I wrong! I can't sync my upper body and lower body to move at the same time or the right way! Ugh I really am disappointed in myself!

    As always, great vid Cassie! You always make me laugh! For anyone who's looking to combine several of Cassie's workouts, I (personally) found that her Abs on Fire, Muffintop meltdown, muffintop massacre, Inner thigh Clarity challenge and her bubble butt workout for beginners (I also added in Insane home fat loss bikini beach body workout if you wanna check it out as well) were really effectively for me and I saw fairly quick results. These workouts can be done in any order, just make sure that the bubble butt workout is LAST otherwise you will be in a world of pain!!! Of course this is based on what I saw personally, but I hope that it can work for somebody else to! Cheers xx

      Some workout videos i hate aswell but then when i get excited to work out I annoy myself with doing those first and end with one i really really love. and than treat myself a healthy yet delicious shake :D xx

    Its 9 pm and I just did this video without stopping NOT EVEN ONCE. 30min wo every other day really pays off ( tho yesterday I also did my wo!) SUPER HAPPY AND PROUD I FREAKING DID IT CASEY AND POPSTERS!!!

      my neck used to hurt too because i didn't understand that i needed use my core instead of my neck to get up.
      it burns more too when you use you core!

      Cherry Stone Yup my neck hurts too! I try using my core instead of my neck but I think it needs some getting use too! Maybe try some doing more standing up abs (just search it here on youtube) and a fewr lying down abs until you get used to using your core!

      Try tucking your chin into your chest instead of looking up, because that strains your neck. :)
