  • A video showing the conditions around the pontoon and slipways associated with the Mountbatten Watersports and Acitivies Centre, based in Plymouth, Devon, UK.
The video was shot at 1 high water and 1 low water.
HW was at 1900hrs BST on 8th May 2024. Predicted height above CD was 5.54m
LW was at 1339hrs BST on 9th May 2024. Predicted height above CD was 0.51m.
At low water springs there is very little water around the pontoon or slipways. At other states of the tide there are plenty of rocks hidden underwater so knowing what's there is important.

All that water, where does it go? 😮.... You mentioned something in a video last year about having your own boat, are you still sailing your Hawk? They were great videos. 😊

Thanks for the feedback. I do still have my hawk but currently waiting on new tiller to arrive as the previous one snapped.
      More videos will probably follow.

@@peterguilliatt Hmmmm, is that just the tubular tiller part, expensive? I have just had my centre plate out and done a refurb on it as it was quite pitted. Your info on that job was useful. Straps, pin, tape and bushes about £220. Sorry I worded my last message poorly 🙄, you mentioned in one of your Yealm videos that it might be the last time you were up there in your own boat. That's why I asked if you were still sailing your Hawk. I don't suppose you knew of a Hawk cabin in Fort Picklecombe ?
