- Augusto Farfus shows the world how not to defend for Alfa-Romeo as he tries to help out Gabrielle Tarquini by swerving all over the road, easing people off the track and slowing the pack down. He received a penalty and thankfully BMW still managed to win the race.

and before the 156, the Alfa Romeo 155 won the Italian super touring championship in 1992....the German DTM in 1993...the British D2 touring car championship in 1994 and the Spanish touring car championship in 1995...always Alfa Romeo breaking the heads of BMW, Mercedes,Opel..!!!!
And now Farfus is a BMW factory driver
I always support fair play and sportsmanship. But as an Alfa fan, this exquisite piece of 'f#7*$ng the BMW' has made my day subtly more satisfactory.
I am also a die-hard Alfa fanatic, but everyone knew that since the N-Technology got the cars into their private hands, without the development of Alfa Corse (those were the facelifted versions), the cars were very slow and underdeveloped. This was a very dirty driving from Farfus, a man I also like and respect. But I don't think it is fine to win at any cost...
N-Technology WAS Alfa Corse. It was simply Nordauto Engineering under a new name, absorbing both Autodelta and Alfa Corse once FIAT divested the Scuderia during the early-2000s crisis.

So Alfa broke the head of BMW by winning a measly team championship lol? BMW wiped the floor with Alfa by finishing 1-2 in the drivers championship and winning the manufacturers' championship. Then in the following years BMW wiped the floor with Alfa once again in the world championship as well.

Not a fan of BMW, but I would of had him off for doing that. Don't ever try that in the BTCC or you will end up with a written off race car. Tarquini is a good racer and could of given them a run for the money no trouble.
