Hello people around the world. My discovery of Alcest has been one of the most beautiful things in my life till now. I am glad that I found this band, this album, such people who, like me, love Alcest. I want to say that, I was having a bad day. Got thrashed by my prof. Broke my favorite earphone accidentally. Lost money. Cycle was punctured. PC got affected by virus. But in the end, when the day ended and I spoke to Mom, my girlfriend and heard Alcest; all the pain alleviated. And, that's what matters. When you have great people in your life, no matter how depressed, how broke, how lost you are; they will help you and heal you. So will this music. I wish you a great day ahead. I love this album. Never lose hope. Peace!
Alcest saved my life. Alcest moved my heart and gave me a new direction in life. And when I lost everything, Alcest was all I had. It was my only peace.
i keep listening to this after my fiancee passed away a week ago... we supposed to get married on march 5th next year.... this beautiful song has helped me get through the worst part of letting go.... somehow the melodies gives me the strength to keep on going...

Délivrance and Voix Sereines stand out from the album for me. They convey such contrasting emotions and pictures. Délivrance gives me a melancholic and transient feeling, while Voix Sereines conveys a story with ups and downs and a general feeling of peacefulness and calmness.
Maybe that's why I love Alcest so much. They convey a very wide range of emotions. Like Alcest, I have both black metal and the dreamy shoegaze in me...
and yeas, i found out for the first time Alcest after that a guy that i met virtually on chatroulette suggested me to listen to them. I would not ever expect that such a "superficial" meeting would make me discover coincidencly (altough i dont believe in coincidence) such a mystic dimension. Somehow we lost our contact long time ago for his decision and ,of course, there's nothing i can do, but only to respect his choice and let him go. well ,for the first time i understood that i shouldnt feel weak or ashame when im in love, cause it forces me at one point to be honest with my feelings and to accept situation i cannot control ... now i am only living days where i pray the whole time that i can be able to love myself one day.. i hope this will happen just now, in this moment. I miss you.
