This is a level of pure bliss that I haven't experienced since my first girlfriend. Listening to this whole album was amazing. I'd never heard of this band prior to several album reviewers here on RUclips mentioning it and reviewing it, and now I'm loving it.
Check out the album Souvenirs d'un Autre Monde, specifically the tunes 'Printemps Emeraude' and 'Ciel Errant'. Soundtrack to my 2007 bro. God, he knows how to do it. And if you want to hear a harder side of Niege's work, check out his recently defunct (i believe) band Amesoeurs.
As most people of my generation, Neige obviously spent a lot of time listening to Smashing Pumpkins while growing up in the mid 90's. I think this song as well as Ciel Errant especially exemplify this. I wonder if Billy Corgan has checked out Alcest yet.
