I listened to this song heavy when my brother passed away and remembered our time in the mountain ranges of Utah where we all jammed it. It hits hard every time real, real, real hard. RIP Z. I love you brother.

This song reminds me of last summer. I spent most of it in the park with my friends just sitting in a circle sharing stories, making music and drinking beer till the sun went down. I was so tanned back then... Listening to this song makes me nostalgic for those days and also hopefull for this years summer!

The most beautiful music in the world I have heard since Peter Steele had gone. It makes me happy and melancholy at the same time. Totally in love with this music.

    Ce matin j'ai vu réapparître
    L'immense soleil qui nous nourrit.
    Juillet s'en vient enfin
    Ainsi que ton sourire.
Nous avons dormi toute une année,
    A présent réveillons nous,
    Allons recueillir l'ivresse
Qui vogue dans l'air de l'été.
    Juillet s'en vient
    Notre cœur dégèle
    Je me sens si léger.
    -
    This morning, I saw reappear
The immense sun which feeds us
    July is finally coming closer,
    And so is your smile
We have slept for a whole year
    Now, let's all awake
Let's go and collect the euphoria
    Drifting on the summer wind
    July is coming closer,
    Our heart unfreezes
    I feel so light

A friend from work told me about this band and he said to get this album especially. I thought it would be just another metall cd but DAMN.... This is a level of pure bliss that I haven't experienced since my first girlfriend. I sit here with a 2x 7.2 speaker system and it is the closest thing I have ever been to heaven. and NO I am not a virgin ;)

The Alcest's song that evokes me the strongest emotions. Probably my favorite by them. And it is also some kind of perfect "Exit Music" (for a film).

It's 5 years later.... and in the years my music taste is becoming bigger and bigger, but still want this song for my funeral! i know its weird too think about that while im still young but its just because it makes my world standing still for a moment and it's giving me chills everytime i hear this song.. I hope they feel chills too, so they will remember this AWESOME song and all the happy memories!!! this song is so underated.

This song is so beautiful, that it hurts.
Saw these guys twice on their US Tour 2017 in St. Louis and Nashville. Would do it again 10000000 times.
They're a perfect band. Nothing speaks to emotions better than this...

July is coming back, at last
    And so is your smile.
We have been sleeping a whole year long

    Lyrics Translation in Nepali
(Hope someday, someone from Nepal finds this comment)

As most people of my generation, Neige obviously spent a lot of time listening to Smashing Pumpkins while growing up in the mid 90's. I think this song as well as Ciel Errant especially exemplify this. I wonder if Billy Corgan has checked out Alcest yet.

Sitting here, glass of red wine in one hand, listening to Alcest, in my other hand I have Marcus Aurelius: The Meditations. Life is beautiful. To think of how many poor fucking people don't even get to enjoy a fair life, let alone the beauties of music, good food and literature. Heartbreaking. A toast to Neige, and to the poor souls whose destiny lead to less fortuitous destinies.
