Nice , I cut the muffler off my 86 grand marquis and it sounded just like this , then I took it to a shop and had them fabricate a dual exhaust system with a H-pipe . Now it's not as loud as before but sounds good when you get on the gas .
I just got a 2001 mercury grand marquis first time I've ever owned a marquis when i got it way to quiet for me so i had my wife buy me a sawzall and i cut the muffler off now it sounds beast
You went through all that trouble? I waited until rust finally got to the muffler. Now my 2000 marquis sounds like Harley Davidson. No effort needed! Same thing happened to my 91, while driving on highway. Rust got to the tailpipe, and was dragging on road, I pulled over to the side, used a pry bar and sledgehammer, broke it off. And a week later, went to muffler shop who formed and welded new pipe back to muffler, $50
@@shemailgoondall9531 you asking him why he went through all that trouble? Says the person who pulled on the side of the road and started wacking on their car with a sledge hammer and pry bar 😂whattajoke
sounds mean and nasty, just the way I like it. Amazing how the longer the pipes, the better it sounds. When you gunned it up with just the cut off mufflers, sounded like sh_t. With the pipes it has that pipe sound that can't be beat. Sounds badass mean. Gun it hot rod!
These were decent...but not half the car the caprice classic or square body impalas were... the efi 302 was a bit of an anchor in these ford panther cars the 351 cars were definitely a lot swifter
@@ConradMurphy89 it's pandemic related...that's all when you reduce production on any level the existing inventory increases in price exponentially and also its corruption as most levels of government want the population to purchase electric vehicles
Generally Ford speed density system absolutely hates any changes in air flow. It simply can not adapt to air flow changes. I would be willing to place bets the fuel air mixture is not quite right.

Agree 100%, hard to find any box style cars now so hard to be picky on motors or makes.

Pero debe de ser V8 por qué 6 cilindros no se escucha así o si?
V8 yes.
I don't know. A grand marquis, Lincoln town car, and Cadillac are meant to be seen not heard
Matter of opinion
Que chido
That B fartin down the road
Got a little cackle to 'er!!
How did the computer work with this? Any rough running?
Nope, and since this video I got the catalytic converters cut off on this car along with a 91 I bought. Both run perfect without cats or mufflers.
