- FINALLY! A high quality lower bumper guard to replace the big plastic lower valance on the Ford Super Duty!
The Trail Guard is 100% bolt on. The guard bolts directly to the frame using 1/4" steel and is constructed with 1.5" x .120" wall 4130 chromoly tubing. This is designed to be a true lower bumper skid guard and not some cheap plastic spoiler that only bolts to the bottom bumper. This is frame mounted meaning it's strong and durable and backed by Dirtcom’s warranty.
Installation is a breeze, you don't even have to remove the bumper for installation!

Come on ! You got to make this for the 2011 to 2016. I’m going to be waiting for this
Don't worry! It's in the works. Same style Trail Guard but we have to change the frame mounts a bit.
I have 2023 with the huge air dam and the prius catchers. Once I remove the prius catchers, is that where you are installing your brackets with the factory hardware?
It’s good to see you back AJ! 👍
How long are the production delays? The site shows that they are not available.
Nice idea but $850 - $1K 😲, little to pricey for me for what it is, but good luck with it.
I wouldn't pay more than $200.00. These guys are gouging you for anything over $250.00.
Agreed, at that point just spend a little extra and get yourself a full bumper replacement
We are using high end materials including 4130 chromoly tubing. This is why we can get away with a small diameter tube giving a low profile sleek design. The material alone is worth more than $200. That is not including machine time, welding time, and assembly. These aren't cheap thin walled beauty tubes, and if that's what you are looking for there are plenty of products you can get made in China from a company who isn't even based out of the USA. These are 100% made in the USA. Not just for quality, but for our economy. Supporting local trades and supply chains costs money, but that's where we like to put our time and effort. Thank you for checking out the video!
Soooooo where are we at on the forgotten about 11-16 year models? 👀
Are you guys going to make something like this for the F150?
We are in the design stages now
Will it work with a Boss Plow mount already installed?
Is that a wrench on last truck shown? I want to put one on my f250 2018 factory bumper, is that possible?
When will this be shipping? Ordered and paid for one 4 months ago. 2 months ago I was told via email it would ship in a week or so. Now I’ve emailed 3 times this week with no reply. Can you update please?
So the valance never goes back on?
Correct this takes the place of the plastic valance
When can we expect a Trail Guard for the 2011-2016 Super Duty trucks?
We are currently working on those years at this time
Seriously the price for this piece is rather high considering i can get a USA made front bumper for just 800 more. And i actually like the center design but those wings make it look awful
Is it just protect the bumper? Not a full skid plate.
If you watch the video we make it clear that there is an additional engine skid plate that mounts to this plate
Soon to come thank you for watching
Doe it mess with the cooling any?
Not at all. This sits underneath the front bumper
Want to order for a 23 Super Duty, but only goes up to 22. Is this compatible with 23?
We are pretty sure it will fit but we have not tested a 23 to verify fitment yet!
@@DirtComplex - I'm happy to test it out. How can I get in touch?
What. No 11-16 ?
In development! Just need a few more tweaks
So a bumper on a bumper
Thats not a good look at all. If you need protection like that then just buy a aftermarket front bumper that looks alot bette4
“100% made in USA” …hide the Toyota next time
@reesetrels8925 Ha funny. What's funnier is Toyota has 3 cars in the top 10 most USA made vehicles in 2024. Pretty sad that the big 3 would rather farm out their parts to Mexico and China huh?
