I have Honda jazz 1.2 ivtec petrol manual. 7 years old car in this speed limit with full load can give easily 23+ kmpl. Infact k12 maruti engine can yeild around 24 on same speed. Also durability, service and reliability wise nothing can match honda toyota and maruti.nissan is good though. But depends on people preference

Rubber band effect is not there, it's very smooth. Also if you get higher variant you will get seat height adjustment option, once seat is set high enough you can get that suv kind position. Unfortunately in my variant that option is no there (I don't need it as well) but my sis misses that feature.

Many says we can get more mileage in non turbo than turbo, i have XL non turbo using one year and occationally driving my friend car it XV turbo manual, in my experience the non turbo require 3000 rpm to reach 80km, whereas the turbo 1800 to 2000 rpm we can reach 80km.. I feel the turbo is getting better mileage than non turbo in the higher speed.... Pls correct me if i am wrong...
Cvt turbo gives milage if 8kmpl in Chennai and 12-14 in highway cruise 100kmph . Very bad service support ( autorelli ) if you give vehicle for service they will make scratch and dents. Thinking as wise made a wrong decision

Pros :(CVT) Performance, ride quality, space, visibility,ground clearance, easy steering. Cons: Milage,no pid and quality check,paint quality ,worst service quality, interior quality, vehicle presence, resale value low.disk pad noise on breaking. I'm specific my new car had paint spatters and issues during delivery, as already registered . So simply done rubbing and polishing on that areas.
That's unfortunate, seems like above mentioned paint issue is specifically happened to you, I did not face those issues, but I can't comment on long term reliability as well since I just bought, hope everything will be good 😊👍

Trick is to Keep rpm under 3k bro while shifting gears and on highways too. If you keep rpm under 3k engine health will be good in the long term and you will get good mileage as well.

I did not check mileage of non turbo variant but as per your theory yes, the more you rev the engine the less mileage you will get.

2:20 CVT doesn't have gears and hence there will be no gear change. Thats the reason you wouldn't feel gear change unlike in other automatics.

From my experience, Gear shifting won’t be as smooth as cvt, baleno cvt was good (now discontinued) but ags is not that smooth
