Keep an alternate world for building out your housing. That way you can log out of current world and into housing world and appear in your actual house. Saves a ton of time running back and forth. The exception is ingredients, now that they can come directly from storage, so I now store these in my main world and that's it.
i wish they made a sort of ingame wiki explaining what the runes do. atm even after buying it, or when a weapon comes with a rune, you have no idea what it does until you try them all
I'm level 27, duel daggers and I beat the Crucible last night on my second attempt. I've got gain focus on damage dealt, gear and basically spammed the piercing Barrage skill on the boss and it filled my focus back to keep doing it and kept him stun locked or poise broke. He's still a beast though. I was super surprised when I beat him the first time.
@@Auxik yeah hopefully they find a middle ground ! I don't have fast reactions so I made a heavy armor thistle/ plague ring build...personally I hope the devs land on balancing that isn't as harsh as souls game :)
@@Kaha-qh9nl while I'm a fan of souls difficulty, I do think they mastered it in Elden Ring. Giving players who want less of a challenge other options. Having to run through an entire gauntlet from the start every time you die though, is quite annoying if that boss is that difficult to beat. I would put him up there with Ishin the sword saint if I couldn't have stun locked him.
I had to make new realms to find birch wood and silver ore. But, that let me craft falling sky t3 staff. Imagine my surprise when I enchanted it and it became a unique.
A question I’ve been submitting into the review forums is this: I can take a tier 1 piece of gear that I started the game with, Upgrade it all the way to tier III and it will have comparable stats, right? So then what is the point of gear beyond fashion? Same with weapons, if I can upgrade a tier I str sword with 10 str requirement to a tier III str sword that requires 46 str, what’s the point of the higher tier sword? Fashion. The intrinsic gameplay loop is boring, and stats are useless as a result.
It is even more powerful because it has 4 slots and you can use those to more specific and broken builds. The customization of them is insane compared to the higher rarity ones.
Would people find In later expansions of the game property’s to be added, not just a house internally but lots.. even if it’s not big id love to have an outside where I can put a smithy or something - think Skyrim type Maybe something that has a yard, external area, include lots and lots more custom items for your house/lot to showcase gear cabinets etc?
For Gems, does “extra” elemental damage only matter if the weapon already has an elemental damage type? Or does it actually add the damage type to the weapon???
I think I might have missed it in your video if you covered it, but are runes how you have weapons that are constantly on fire? I have the oils but I see videos of weapons that are always imbued with flame, is this accomplished with runes? Or with gems?
Every item has an RNG DPS. You can find the same 2h sword with anywhere from 30 to 40 base dps before upgrading. Enchanting also randomly rolls a new DPS for the weapon.
@@xWarlanx thats whats so strange. The pickaxe I upgraded had like 7 base dmg. Fully upgraded its 32, not enchanted. The lvl3 pickaxe started at 17, is enchanted and fully upgraded with only 25 dmg
@@magnusdanielsson2749 If you hit max roll on a craftable or buyable weapon, it will usually be better than most of Tier 3 after upgrades within the same category. Claymores can have 10 to 14 basic damage, and within those 14 ones, once max upgraded, might still have 1 damage difference due to rounding of values.
@@magnusdanielsson2749 I bet that tier 3 pickaxe was a low roll. Probably pickaxes with about 25 at tier 3, when upgraded are same as your other pickaxe.
@@magnusdanielsson2749 do you happen to have a damage increase % roll or gem? That will also adjust your base damage. Elemental affixes do not adjust your base damage.
Anyone knows if birch wood and silver ore also can be found from mining/trees ? I‘ve been doing the endgame loop for a while now, but the only ones i got are from chests or crucible runs. My chest needs Like 20 silver ingots and i got 6 After so much gameplay 🫠
1 silver ore in Iona Caverns and 1 in the Nameless Pass (you have to rotate a crane to access some vines). There are two birch trees in Sacrament and one in the Crucible. Creating multiple Realms and upgrading the General Store guy is also highly recommended.

Same goes, to keep 3 worlds for bounties. You can max out the ichors easy.
Brilliant guide man, thank you for taking the time to share your knowlage and make things a lot easier for us all

Subbed since Mid Shadowbringers days, good to see your content again!
This warms my heart in so many ways, thank you and welcome back :)
Keep these guides coming, I feel like anything pre-patches is just completely out of date by now hahah
You got it and yeah, there will be lots of opportunity to refresh the guides as they roll out new features.
Another great video, man, thank you!
Excellent idea! I’ll get to work on that
Nice vid!

Congrats! ..enjoy it while you can :) I'd say that the focus gain and ability to stager/ lock EK will get a rework soon.

Gems or rolled elemental stats on weapons. Elemental runes work only during skill usage.
experience loss on damage taken is the absolute worst (tried it) and you can basically sell that weapon
It is one of the best negative affixes if you are already at the max level (currently 30).

I noticed that upgrading a lvl1 weapon(pickaxe) fully gives it higher dmg than a lvl3 item upgraded fully.
Any input on this?

"In a future update the ability to straight up purchase ingots will be going away" Well that dreadful day has come indeed 😢
That day has already come. Happened in the last patch
You must not have a maxed town. My big chests are like 40 slots of whatever I want.
They just updated them with the new patch pushing up the slots to that size.

The large chest would be the largest.
