I’ve got that stock on a PDW GHM9 and it’s OK. It definitely sticks out like a sore thumb on a long rifle. Luckily, there are many other stock options, including Picatinny and caps and buffer tube end caps. Do you have any of this Spaling when you were not shooting steel targets? Weird thing is the best standard B&T mags for the straight 30 rounders are Korean, KCI.
I forgot to add a clarification about the spalling, so I'll do it here. It wasn't from the targets, they were 40 yards away. I called it spalling when I really should have specified its probably unburnt gunpowder. I'll keep an eye on that the rest of the testing.
for safety - HB industries makes reduced weight springs that might help. haven't tried those myself though. I never had bolt catch engaging with the rounds still left, with a wide variety of magazines. But my friends had. What's different - I always tap the mags after charging to seat the rounds properly. The stock out of the box is outright horrible. The wide PDW stock is nice. I am currently using A3 skelestock and very happy with it.
My GHM9 6.9 runs perfectly. Use factory 10 Glock 17 mags with JF base pads . I’ve dropped in an Elftmann AR9 trigger, HB right side safety delete, Custom Smith magwell, BCM grip, HS AEMS dot, Cadex hand stop. No weird discharge from ejection ? Agreed that the stock isn’t optimal so will add a different stock eventually. But I like a folding stock as mine fits discretely in my range bag. It’s a blowback with a heavy BC so it does have some slight kick. I run it in PCC competition and I’ve not had a malfunction. I don’t like the B&T mags on my buddies APC9 . I’d like to get an SPC eventually. These are excellent carbines IMO
I have the 6.9 ghm9 and have ran about 1500 rds and the safety loosened up eventually after approximately 750 rds. I agree with your comments on the stock but other than that the gun shoots flawless for me and I am very pleased with the purchase. I believe regardless of your choice you will always find something that’s not to everyone’s liking.Anyhow I appreciate your review..

Torn between getting this or a Benelli M4 for range plinking....
9mm is cheaper so you could do more range plinking
i have that stock on mine and it has no business being on a GHM9 of that length
do you hate money that much?
I apparently do
