Once you know that Joost came home one afternoon, a year after his father's passing of cancer, he found his mother on the sofa, lifeless due to cardiac arrest. He was only 13.
At that moment he'd lost everything. It's still so heartbreaking!

I am so confused by my country, the Netherlands😅
They are hiding so much and the delegation is constantly saying there is much more to come, but when!? 😅

I think it will be fine. After last year, AVROTROS is not expected to risk another flop, and Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen also has his reputation on the line. So as long they don’t panic, I won’t 😁
I actually like this new layer of uncertainty, makes it even more exciting 😅👌🏾

I had the same reaction to the Netherlands. It’s a real gut punch that elevates the song to another level. I think he’s a serious contender given what seems to be excellent execution of the staging.
Overall I think there are way too many wide shots that look like “stage porn” for SVT while taking away from the artists and songs. :/

@zendenscerri2567 I think it’s more the dancebreaks as a whole. It was the first thing that came into my mind when I first saw (and heard) it as well.
When you choose a song like this, it’s inevitable that people start comparing. Still, I think Sarah is amazing, and I have great respect for the way they have polished their act over the last few months. So much so, that I will vote for Malta in the semi 😁🇲🇹
