Heeeey thanks for a great fun & informative review of these figures. Just picked up that Batman yesterday at my local GameStop😁. My opinions are quite limited in my small town so I was glad to add a pretty decent Batman to my collection. Thank for a bang up video 1st time to the channel, Enjoyed it 👌🏾.

Also I got to meet the voice actress for New Batman Adventures Batgirl, Tara Strong, earlier in January at the New Orleans Fan Expo, she was a very nice woman, I've been wanting to meet her ever since 2013

I had no idea they were going to do a chase Batgirl in 66' colors when I ordered her. I was actually going to repaint my batgirl in 66' purple colors before I even knew this.
I take it we’ll get an explanation for the two Batgirls. I’m curious how the other designs will look namely Joker, Riddler, and Mad Hatter.
Hopefully they’ll be in Wave 2 alongside Robin and Nightwing.
Joker & Riddler had figures by DC Direct so will look identical to those. Hopefully TNBA Mad Hatter will show up as a BAF

Great review!! 👏 I love all of your episode-specific references and poses! It shows how much you love the show. 🙌 Interesting choice for them to give the accurate cel shading on Batgirl’s mask to the purple variant and not on the standard one. I was hoping the blue shading might make it on her, but I can paint that easily enough.
As for a BAF for this wave, I think a Clayface would make the most sense. Even if they spread him out over 2 waves to get him bigger, that would’ve been cool.

Wow! Now, this is actually something I may have to get. I was would love more of these DC Direct reissues. I didn’t care for the added call-shading on the Batman:TAS wave. I’d really like to see a redo of those without that because that was a bummer. But, these look great! And, @ToyShiz I was thinking the same thing. I grew up with the original Kenner line that only had 5POA. I still love them, but man I wish they’d had knees and elbows (especially since my old Kenner Super Powers had knees!). I like those animation cells better then the taxing cards on the 7 inch Multiverse line. Mostly because these actually match the figures. Not sure on a build-a-figure idea, but I want a reissue of Nightwing and Joker for sure.
Nice to see them reissue these for people that missed them originally but sinces theres no BAF this time I’ll just stick with my original DCD ones. Hopefully wave 2 will have a BAF like TNBA Penguin or TNBA Mad Hatter
hopefully we would see a BAF or deluxe, but they are sticking to the cell repros for now for TNBA.

It's nice that they're remaking these for those who missed them the first time or don't have the means to get them now.. that being said, these just feel so much cheaper than the originals..
everyone says the old ones are cheap and brittle. These feel like dc multiverse figures
Love the faithfulness of the designs. Love the ab crunch for Croc, but they don’t have that for the Batgirls? I do wish Batman has a softer cape and more articulation; maybe the next incarnation…
These are just repackages of the old DC Direct figures so they articulation is the same as those old ones with no updates

Just got my Two Face copy, looks pretty good but seems like this TNBA wave is a little smaller scaled compared to BTAS, Two Face here is thinner and generally smaller than BTAS Scarecrow for example while he should tower over him and be much thicker, not sure if it's the TNBA molds or if they did Two Face totally wrong here
How noticeable is the difference because I wanted to get scarecrow, and mr freeze from that line, so I can display with these and other batman villians in this line eventually
Like how they are giving us more incentive to get these even if u got the 10 year old skool figs.
Two-face’s flesh coin is giving me Indiana Jones Ark of the Covenant vibes if you know what I mean

as of right now, these look to only be online, GameStop, that sort of deal.

McFarlane will do every Purple and Yellow Batgirl *except* the Batgirl of Burnside design I desperately want in Multiverse.

@ToyShiz I'd be fine with a reused 3 Jokers in Purple and Yellow at this point. It's a fine enough sculpt, and could easily be used for Burnside with a new belt and emblem

When these came out 10 years ago they were terrible at least the first wave was, that Twoface was trash the worst figure I've ever bought. Now these new mcfarlane versions look much better. Exceor the hip joint are still awful, but the paint isca million times better. I might pick up that batman, my original one ended up breaking of cousr, great review!
I had a two-face action figure before but i think is was from another batman toy line.

You know, someday I'm hoping either McFarland toys or any other toy company's DC collectibles or whatever will give us civilian versions of a lot of these characters from the DCA. U period I would love to see a civilian. Tim Drake a civilian Barbara, Gordon and possibly a civilian Bruce Wayne and the new Batman adventure style and possibly civilian Dick Grayson with the long hair mold Hawk. L o l I think that be cool period😊😊
I have a question is the plastic more durable than dc direct or is it the same for the other dc direct figures, like fragile
These feel much more like toys (dc multiverse) more durable, than the prior DC Collectibles brittle/art piece type.
Maybe I’ll get Batman. I have the original one and one of his arms just snapped off his shoulder. I noticed they used clear plastic joints :(

TNBA Penguin! 100% the one that needs made, BAF or not. How did DC Direct NEVER make him? He's even, arguably, the BEST of the re-designs. I was always more of a BTAS designs fan, but these are still awesome nonetheless. And as cool as the BTAS figures are, the cel-shading is less than ideal. So I'm THRILLED with it not being on these TNBA figures. Fingers crossed for the whole case plus Penguin and Mad Hatter, the two I'd consider the biggest omissions never made by DC Direct.

I always loved the animated Batman series but I'm not a fan of these blocky looking figures at all and I don't understand what they make the legs so thin on these Batmans it's annoying
