I have used auto headlights in every car I’ve owned that has had this feature for many years. I think it should be the law that if you have this feature, it should be in auto. Some people keep telling me that the tail lights don’t come on when your car is in auto, but that isn’t true. Your headlights and tail lights are connected, when the headlights are on. The tail lights are on. This is a safety feature. If this did not happen, there would be no point in having this feature. This works on my cars my daughters car my husband‘s truck my husband‘s work van, which are all different makes and models. I just can’t believe that we would be the only people in America that this actually worked for. I personally think this is an awesome feature. I never touch my headlights unless they’re glaring into a restaurant or to someone’s home or in a car that might be across from me when we’re sitting, but that rarely happens. You just simply turn them off and then put it back in Auto when it’s time to go, it’s so simple.

I only liked the auto headlights on, so that way I wouldn’t worry about turning them off anymore.

@ZachFish- Yeah.. I feel bad when I go to the car wash and my lights are blinding the attendant, lol. I'm like, "Sorry, I can't turn them off." 😅

It's too sensitive. It also reduces the brightness of the infotainment system.

@@ZK_-hs5es that’s because you have auto brights on not auto headlights. Auto headlights doesn’t activate your brights. That is a feature that you have to activate when you pull your left column. You’re activating it and not knowing how you’re doing it. Seems like a lot of people need to pull their manuals out and read them. Auto highbeams are different than Auto headlights. They’re two separate things.
