Thank you for watching! There is good fishing there and I observed it. I would love to be there during the mullet run but I am still trying to figure out the net. I have a 5' which I am okay with but 8' I still need a lot of work.
@@BeyondFishingFamily That was a decent cast . Casting into wind is tough . I actually put part of the net in my teeth to assist with the spread . Whatever works 😉 Jetty an pier etiquette. Usually the first one there gets the spot . Usually those people are hard-core regulars . Then there's people like the guy that set up next to you . 😉
Try different methods of throwing bigger nets, i couldnt throw my 10' for the life of me. until a found a very certain way of throwing it, and now have no problems@@BeyondFishingFamily
Hi Ty, please give me some pointers on the net throwing because at 8' I have practiced and cannot seem to get it right. I have watched other videos on this but still no success. Please let me know your method.@@tyshigh
When it’s an outgoing tide when you cast inlet side off the N Jetty, when then tide is going out walk with your line to the end of the Jetty to prevent line tangles with other anglers. Seb can be organized chaos at times lol Nice Video
Next time u go try the south side either at the beginning of the incoming or all through the outgoing and live bait is definitely key if you are fishing during the day but just cast around till you find the schools are at
There are three fish I am still looking forward to catching and hoping to catch 1. Grouper 2. Barracuda. and 3. Cobia. I could add Tiger Shark as well.
This spot, there is great fishing but difficult because it is crowded. I do not go to this area anymore because it is to much of a pain just to find a spot and it is not worth the time. That is only my opinion, others may think differently.
@@BeyondFishingFamilyyou should give Long Island ny Southshore and montuak a shot during the spring stripped bass run and Fall run . Usually the spring is great from May through July and again from October through November some amazing fishing right in the surf
I have been to other piers and most are nice and courteous but at Sebastian Pier, they all seem to be very serious and not so courteous. I am not a fan of packed Piers either, bridges, or any place where it seems everything is so close.
They actually closed it for awhile a few years ago, because of the ugly and unsportsmanlike things people were doing. When we'd go to Sebastian Inlet for a day at the beach, my dad used to fish from the rocks, back before the pier was built, in the late 1950s, so I hope to return to try fishing there.
Sebastian is my base. Hope to see you out there my fellow youtuber!!
It would be great. We plan to get back down there and hopefully have better luck. It’s tough to get live finger mullet or even pins
Nice Video. Its to many people fishing. Great multi fishes. When are you going fishing in south Florida? (Fl Keys) Merry christmas and Happy New Years.
I am not sure when I will be in South Florida, although maybe soon. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!
Hiya Travis.Love the channel.Brian🎉😊
Thank you for Watching!
Merry Christmas. You definitely have to go during the spring mullet run . Huge snook tarpon an shark's. Need heavy equipment for those . 😎

@@olderetiredtreemahn3234 I normally put part in my teeth as well but it does not work as well with larger nets. 😁

Thank you, I will try it next time but always worried I will get snagged on the rocks.
Super crowded with locals been there 2 times and the locals can be bungholes
It does get super crowded. It may be great fishing but not worth the stress of trying to find a spot all the time or it being closed when you go down.
Ladyfish make good bait . Barracuda would chop that up

I meant Bull Shark and not Tiger Shark. 😁
Less is more fishing the inlet. All you need is Carolina rig or knocker rig live bait and leader. Or just tie on leader hook and use pinch weights.
Thank you for watching! I observed most using Carolina rigs with live mullet. Thank you for the information!
Sheesh I’ll pass.. here in Long Island we beat the crowd by fishing at night middle of the week..

@@CrazyAlbertoKnee That sounds Great! I will at some point. Enjoy the fishing and post a photo of some of the fish.
Too many people and unsavory types at the pier for my taste but to each his own

Great video, but no thanks. 😂
Fair enough!
