You can’t use FRT for those features. However, the standard Draft tool will recognize and allow you to modify existing Draft, even in imported geometry. I covered that in another video. For modifying geometry like pockets, watch my videos on Flexible Modeling. If you’re trying to make extensive changes to imported geometry, you’re going to have to use a combination of tools. Nothing will allow you to completely reverse engineer complex imported geometry though.

Why might the FRT still be grayed out under Get Data in CREO 5 after I have set frt_enabled to yes, exited CREO and returned, confirmed frt_enable still was set to yes?

Hi, I would like to know if feature recognition can be done for the base extrude of the part. I meant can we change the profile of the base extrude. I tried clicking on the base surface/edge, extrude feature was not detected. Pls clarify. Thanks
