I just got a 2015 Trax and boy would I love to be able to upgrade it! The Mylink is kinda janky. I want my phone to auto connect. I got spoiled with my roommates Civic. It’s difficult trying to DoorDash since I have to reconnect it every time I get in and out. (First world problems!)
Great video! My Trax is starting to lose its mind regarding the touch screen. Random phantom touches. Random freezes. I'd love the wireless android auto having used it with a Ram truck radio. Is there a dual USB adapter for the lighter port? What did you have to do to bring the unit further forward in the bezel?
Hey there @LordKaladar, I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having, but sadly I am not all that surprised. The stock radio in these things are junk. As for the USB adapter, there are many versions, including USB-C. I usually get that type of stuff on Amazon. I will add a link below to a dual port. The one thing you need to make sure of is if your radio has dual USB or Single USB. If single, then you will need a 1 into 2 setup if 2 ports is required. amzn.to/3Sz6Rls As for bringing the unit further forward, there really isn't a ton of adjustability there. So just being mindful of getting the adapter kit as far back on the radio body is about all you can do. You could possibly add a washer under the radio mounting screws to push it out, but I didn't test that so I cannot speak to the bezel fitment under that scenario.

This setup definitely solves all of those issues. I used it to do Uber eats for extra cash and it was perfect (Steve O)
Same here i got the same one about 4 months ago
