A Ford Cosworth 3.0 V8 is what drove the Lotus 49. They are "widely" available and used for decades. It is what drives Historic Formula 1 classic racing in Europe to this day. But, the reason you don't see ie a rare historic Ferrari F1 V12 but mostly Cosworth powered classic race cars is they actually drive the block a limited amount of races untill it basically melts. So, although available they come at a price. Guess the LS was the cheaper or, maybe being in the US, the faster option. Still love the recreation though.

i bough a microsquirt for efi conversion on 2f / fj60 and welded in injectors bungs on intake and a gm throttle body off something i can not member what it was pulled from .i am thinking ill make a long runner intake from a ford efi intake 300 six or just make one from tubes in future

After your customer let the suspension settle, what settings did you guys go with on the MRR’s? I had an everlast 211 if i remember it right, used it on daily basis and gave up after 6 months and gave up again so warrantied 5x until the warranty expired. i replaced it with the miller multimatic 215 with no problem at all since 2022
