My 2019 AWD took only one quart to do both front and rear. 10mm hex on all four plugs. Thanks for the video!

I just replace the washer while I am at it. They are not overly expensive and it would be better than finding a leak. For the bottle pump I use I find it really helpful to have an empty oil bottle or container. This is to stick the hose into since that oil in the hose will run out of it. That is not something you want to step in and slip!

Thanks for the video! My 2017 AWD Rogue says to use 80-90W conventional, non synthetic GL-5 fluid for both the differential and transfer case.

Nice video. Now tell me, do you know if i can replace the spider gears in the rear differential without removing the entire unit. Is it even possible without complete removal? I mean there is so little space at the back of that unit. You barely can remove the oil plugs. I would think at list the side shafts must come off...

Yes the side shafts have to come out for the spider gears to come out, they have a locking spline that drives the side shaft

My rear fluid looked brand new and my front diff fluid was super black and dirty. I guess this is because these cars primarily use FWD unless you're on snow and ice or use the AWD lock.

Does a 2WD 2009 Nissan Rogue have a rear differential or Front differential? If yes, where is it? Does it also need a Transfer Case fluid that needs to be change and where is it?

just curious. the Video title indicates Chev Traverse, but the video is about a Nissan... is that a mix up?

You're right! My mistake! The title was wrong and we change the fluid on a Nissan...Fixing it now, thanks for pointing it out!

You're supposed to use 80w90 Gear oil, non synthetic!
