This has been our primary Lo-fi camera for our shows this year. 🤫 It's underrated and has served us well with no issues 8hrs of use plugged into the AC power.
About 6:00 - I found the JVC A-K300U, which is a stereo integrated amplifier. So maybe the SA-K300U is just something that connects to the JVC GY-DV300 so it can be connected to the A-K300U?
Here's a really cool and obscure late 80s Sony prosumer Hi8 camcorder, the EVO-9100. It's got a top mounted grip, similar to the VX1000, and a removable shoulder stabilizer with a pistol grip.
Yes there is the Veledge one which is the exact same as the Opteka ones. www.ebay.com/itm/296491819775?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ufmp3m6wrmi&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=ufmp3m6wrmi&var=594424702255&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@brandoncameracollection yeah its a hard one for me too haha. I like that the dvx100 records 16:9 but i like the colors of the vx2000 more. i dont know man but thanks for ur answers i appreciate it!
@jinru I like the look of 4:3 better for skateboarding. It makes fisheye footage look more circular rather than rectangular. Idk it’s hard to explain but you can get a lot closer if you film in 4:3
JVC made some good equipment before they were bought out by Curry’s,Well part of the company I was told,Victor Company of Japan,They were one of the top brands once,But in all fairness Sony are the top boys in electronics.
JVC videomovie were good in there day,I have many Sony cameras and camcorders,I have a 1996 CCD Trv-21e handycam that still works great,They looked good in there day,I bought the Video Walkman to go with it,I also have a mint pair of Sony DEV-5 recording binoculars,There good.
@@brandoncameracollection Sony seem to spend a lot on design don’t they,I’ve got a lot of retro Sony equipment,Radios,Walkmans,minidisc,discman,mp3,Handycam etc ,Binoculars are great but very expensive,Sony gear doesn’t seem to age.I have the Mavicas as well and the Mavicap,But floppy discs had limitation’s

@@brandoncameracollection Thanks. well this 37 is out of stock too but at least I have more options. I appreciate it!
hey this camera is maybe a bit not your style but would make a great video, try the VX9000!!
Yeah I’ve stumbled across a few of those. Aren’t they more of a broadcasting camera?
which camera would u recommend more for skate edits, dvx100A or the vx2000 and why?
Hmmm that’s a hard one. I would say vx2000 just because I haven’t used a dvx100 yet. It really just depends on what footage you like better

Yeah jvc was good during the vhs/vhs-c days. And yes Sony makes great electronics. Accept for Betamax and a lot of video8 fx and tr model camcorders

@neilrobinson5115 yeah I really like the way video8 and hi8 looks. And I’ve been wanting to checkout some video binoculars that’s seems really fun

JVC freaking SUCKS man, all of their MiniDV era cameras feel cheap, even the pro ones & they have deck issues 99% of the time
Yeah you have no choice but to run a tapeless setup on them
