The rice of Nasi Kerabu normally comes in blue clor. According to Wikipedia, the blue color of the rice comes from the petals of Clitoria ternatea (butterfly-pea) flowers (bunga telang), which are used as a natural food coloring in cooking it. However, the flower is hard to come by, so some modification is applied to the nasi. You'll find some other colors as well.

Because of this, the Federal Government gives far less treatment to Kelantan compared to other states and rarely promotes it as one of the main tourist spots. The first food by the lady is probably Fried Carrot Cake. The English translation is rather a misnomer, because there is no carrot used, but white raddish (known as Lobak Putih, translated to White Carrot, hence the dish name) for the dish. There are two versions of the dish- black or white- whereby the black version has dark soy sauce added. The lady probably only make the black version. The general ingredients are rice cake with radish and egg and green onion garnish, some with beansprout and preserved white radish/ turnip for extra flavor kick.

Kelantan .. the most conservative state in Malaysia. Conservatives do well in suburbs and rural areas, as always. 2nd Terengganu.
Personally, East Coast Malaysia is the best place if you love nature, food & culture.
    In England ..
I’d guess places like Somerset (Jacob Rees-Mogg’s constituency) are pretty conservative.
and probably some rural parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland or northern England are particularly conservative.
