I have a Toyota with this infotainment system, however i can't get get it to play music through my Bluetooth. This started happening a few days ago, before that it was working just fine. The volume is on and the radio works fine, but when i connect my phone to the car and put on some music, it's silent. It shows the name of the album and artist, but it doesn't play it. Even weirder than this is that everytime i hit the + or - of the voice assistant volume, the track starts playing for a fraction of a second! If you have any clue as to what or why this is happening, i would really appreciate it!

My phone is all connected but I haven’t played around with the music yet so I was listening to SXM music on my drive today. I wanted to make a phone call, and couldn’t get the music to stop playing! I feel silly asking this but how do you turn the music off? I tried to make a phone call, assuming that my phone call would mute out the music, but it didn’t. I thought that something coming through the phone like a call or a text would interrupt whatever was playing in the background, but apparently not…? I’m hoping you can help!
I've got a bunch of albums on a USB stick and can listen to them on the 2021 Venza, but I can't browse to select a different artist or album while driving. "Browse" does show the menu (Artist/Song/Album/Composer, etc.) but if I tap any of those options, it does not give a list of Artists or Songs or Albums, etc. It simply goes to some random song. When not moving (even if in Drive), Browse works normally--but not when I'm on the road. Is this some stupid safety feature? (I can browse through various radio stations--why not albums?) Is this behavior normal for all new Venzas?

I don’t know about Android, but if you’re using an iPhone this is how you do it: Go to settings > tap on “Do Not Disturb” > scroll down to “Do Not Disturb While Driving” and tap on “Activate” > tap on the option that says “When Connected To Car Bluetooth,” and if it’s there tap on “Activate With CarPlay”

thanks so much for commenting and the kind words. I dont think an update would be possible as the car isnt equipped with the neccessary equipment for Android auto to work correctly. You would have to replace your whole unit with one thats equipped with Android auto

I was worried about it, too. Coming from a Ram 1500 (2017), the Toyota one seems much more functional. The Ram looks a lot more modern, but it's a lot clunkier to use, especially the nav.

@@meeheeyang1526 No problem! We are going through this right now. Ordered an adapter from Amazon and excited to see how well it works. Should be fine as the rear display screen is directly from an HDMI connection. So anything you hook to that HDMI connection should display on the rear entertainment screen. You could literally play Xbox Series X or Playstation 5 games on the rear display. Or watch Elmo/ Sesame Street on RUclips from your phone, or even hook up a tablet to it. I will know more next week as my adapter arrives Monday. Will try to remember to comment back on my findings. Good luck and safe travels!
I start, I hope I am not boring you, my question is I have a 7 year payment plan for my 2017 Toyota Corolla le with ENTUNE AUDIOPlus, it was sent to my house in Puerto Rico the problem is it was sent to me and they never programed the multimedia display from the dealership, I never even got the extra key, my wife to be, said she forgot the extra key, then I got really angry, turns out, two weeks later I made a call to the dealership, they told me the person I bought the car from no longer works there and I cannot get my extra keys or get an update on my system things work differently here in Puerto Rico I mean these people do anything to make a sale and you think the United States is bad when it comes to car sales your advice please can you help.
Most likely you do not have Navigation loaded. You will either have to get the Navigation loaded on the car from the dealer or just use Android Auto or Apple car play feature and use your favorite mapping app through your phone. I would suggest just using your phone, better mapping through Google Maps or Waze.
Depends on the tech package you have on your Toyota. We have map navigation on ours but it is a Sienna with the XLE trim and tech/navigation package. Also have Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Just need a USB cable to the phone for those. The Toyota map and navigation feature just work by hitting the map button.
@@carsunlocked first thing I did, the phone asks me to select only one choice the toyota app from phone when plugged in. If I manually start up android auto with my phone plugged it does not sync.
@@MaatiSan I know my car there is only one USB port that I can use to get Car Play/Andriod Auto even though there are like 5 ports in the car. I have to use the one to the right of the powrvolt (I think its called?) in the front under AC controls. Not sure if that helps, but I figured post just in case!

I tried to check my phone on their site and you have apple and Android to choose picked Android and its only got Pixels I've got a Motorola edge which looks exactly like a pixel and that's because google owned them for a couple years long enough to steal their technology, called Toyota and the Telemetrics was still in the previous owners name I know I had Maps and dashcam when I was at the dealership but later it's all gone phone works fine

I have a new 2021 Rav4. I am told that Toyota no longer supports onboard, start up navigation anymore (I have a iphone). They steer you to Apple Car play which is clunky and not easy to use. I'd love to find a better, compatible navigation system.

The radio settings for treble mid and base are going back to default. How can I save them for all the input sources?

I found that on my radio each input has its own equalizer settings. You probably just need to set them up for each input.

unpair your phone from bluetooth and then repair it. It will ask you to down load your contacts

I was worried about it, too. Coming from a Ram 1500 (2017), the Toyota one seems much more functional. The Ram looks a lot more modern, but it's a lot clunkier to use, especially the nav.

@@meeheeyang1526 No problem! We are going through this right now. Ordered an adapter from Amazon and excited to see how well it works. Should be fine as the rear display screen is directly from an HDMI connection. So anything you hook to that HDMI connection should display on the rear entertainment screen. You could literally play Xbox Series X or Playstation 5 games on the rear display. Or watch Elmo/ Sesame Street on RUclips from your phone, or even hook up a tablet to it. I will know more next week as my adapter arrives Monday. Will try to remember to comment back on my findings. Good luck and safe travels!

I start, I hope I am not boring you, my question is I have a 7 year payment plan for my 2017 Toyota Corolla le with ENTUNE AUDIOPlus, it was sent to my house in Puerto Rico the problem is it was sent to me and they never programed the multimedia display from the dealership, I never even got the extra key, my wife to be, said she forgot the extra key, then I got really angry, turns out, two weeks later I made a call to the dealership, they told me the person I bought the car from no longer works there and I cannot get my extra keys or get an update on my system things work differently here in Puerto Rico I mean these people do anything to make a sale and you think the United States is bad when it comes to car sales your advice please can you help.

Most likely you do not have Navigation loaded. You will either have to get the Navigation loaded on the car from the dealer or just use Android Auto or Apple car play feature and use your favorite mapping app through your phone. I would suggest just using your phone, better mapping through Google Maps or Waze.
Yeah I do not have my maps on my car either. There is a separate monthly or annual charge for that. I just use my cell phone for map guides. Pffft

Depends on the tech package you have on your Toyota. We have map navigation on ours but it is a Sienna with the XLE trim and tech/navigation package. Also have Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Just need a USB cable to the phone for those. The Toyota map and navigation feature just work by hitting the map button.

@@carsunlocked first thing I did, the phone asks me to select only one choice the toyota app from phone when plugged in. If I manually start up android auto with my phone plugged it does not sync.
@@MaatiSan I know my car there is only one USB port that I can use to get Car Play/Andriod Auto even though there are like 5 ports in the car. I have to use the one to the right of the powrvolt (I think its called?) in the front under AC controls. Not sure if that helps, but I figured post just in case!

I tried to check my phone on their site and you have apple and Android to choose picked Android and its only got Pixels I've got a Motorola edge which looks exactly like a pixel and that's because google owned them for a couple years long enough to steal their technology, called Toyota and the Telemetrics was still in the previous owners name I know I had Maps and dashcam when I was at the dealership but later it's all gone phone works fine

I have a new 2021 Rav4. I am told that Toyota no longer supports onboard, start up navigation anymore (I have a iphone). They steer you to Apple Car play which is clunky and not easy to use. I'd love to find a better, compatible navigation system.
