- This is how we make our www.maxjerky.com Montreal Maple Bacon Burnt Ends Jerky. It’s a relatively simple process and starts with the smokey end pieces from slabs of high quality bacon. It’s the perfect sweet and salty snack that is meant to be savored!
This flavor was inspired by some of my favorite memories growing up. Every summer we went camping up north, and we were a family who exclusively slept in tents and cooked food directly over the camp fire. Every morning my dad would be up super early cooking breakfast and it usually involved bacon, fresh blueberry pancakes and eggs. He did this thing where he would cook the pancakes and bacon in the same cast iron pan, then top the whole thing with maple syrup to caramelize while they finished cooking. We ate out of these little metal tins and it’s a smell and flavor combination that I will always cherish.

I've bought some at 7 Eleven a few times, and I've seen it at other places too. I even got some at Best Buy recently.
I’ve been eating bacon jerky for 15 plus years, it’s not just a circle K thing. Just gotta be careful where you get it because some actually taste like candy. I like jack links thin cut hickory smoked 🤌🏽

@@JonyBetancourt so I ordered three: Sichuan Chili Crisp, Buffalo Chicken and the Maple Bacon
SCC: nice texture, great taste albeit a bit too heavy in the coating. It was like a candy-level of sticky sauce coating, so it took away from the beef jerky texture
BC: my favorite (even tho it’s chicken jerky!?) great texture, flavors were in the meat instead of on it. Only suggestion would be turn the heat up! More buffalo flavor.
MB: honestly, and very surprisingly, my least favorite. First off, too smoky. Got very little maple and almost entirely smoke. Second, pieces were too big. Instead of cuts that were wide and flat, they were cubes. I was expecting bacon strips cured like beef jerky, but it was more like pork belly cubes, lightly dried and then covered in liquid smoke. Now pork belly cubes on their own are obviously fantastic, but these are a snack that is enjoyed at room temp, from a bag, often on the go. Just doesn’t work, IMHO; at least not in this form. My suggestion would be thin, wide slices (not cubes), dried out even more, and much less smokiness.
Overall, will order again; still want to try the teriyaki!

I honestly miss that job another friend was a bus boy the other in the kitchen and i was a dishwasher. Three middle school friends that hadnt seen each other in like 8 years. I ordered two bags of this and here is my take.
It was really good. I personally don't like the fat that much but that's just personal preference. It had that strong smokey flavor and was really nice to savor for a while. Also I know it's jerky but I was expecting it to be a lot sweeter than it was considering maple syrup and brown sugar were used, but overall it's a pretty great snack

I love bacon jerky, no matter who makes it. This farmer down the road makes some awesome homemade bacon jerky, once people smell it, they get in line to reserve a bag of a pound, only one per person, well worth his price.

I miss my old meat market. It was a place called Victor's Meat Market near SW Portland. They had all kinds of cool stuff, but they kept a lot of different kinds of meat on hand. I went there a couple different times to get smoked bacon cut at 10mm for BBQs. Totally worth the 8 or 9 dollars I was paying 15 years ago

I used to work at Oberto back in 2009 and i loved working in the hanging room where they cooked the jerky. Although im not a fan of their jerky it was really good right out the oven!
