[I]n K134 it is the Romantic element, an element that finds expression in a mixture of inward rapture, bizarre whimsy and impassioned outbursts that storm the very portals of heaven. This particular creation of the young fireball, whose works of this period - with the exception of the ‘Haffner’ serenade - are largely unknown, deserves to be revived. ~Hermann Abert.
And this is an early symphony of this incomparable composer. People generally associate Mozart with opera and instrumental concertos, justifiably so, but his youthful symphonies are awesome!
The saddest thing going on today is how young people are not learning anything about anything, as a result we are losing the most beautiful things that society need to survive and thrive, its traditions and History, I believe that this is what will eventually destroy the world. It truly saddens me. May God take charge of everything and get the world to regain some sense.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm very angry at this comment. It seems you are taking a very biased take on the world. What we call "tradition" shouldn't just be based on the people of the past, but the people of the present as well. Honestly, I love Mozart and this symphony is great, but it doesn't perfectly reflect our current situation. It doesn't talk about racism, immigration policies, or climate change. Things that today are very pressing issues. Whether you like it or not, music has to do with the people involved in it. Also, I don't like how you talk about God like you know his motives. Maybe he want this so called "tradition" you talk about. Maybe he doesn't. Who knows. But I know this: God loves us all equally and I don't think he would be so quick to say that music from this new generation is wrong and should not exist. Music is a form of expression and right now that expression might not be what you want, but it is the truth. It might be based around greed but what was Mozart's music based around? Only the people who were "higher class" could listen to him. There will always be people who sin, and you can't argue with that. In the end, music is just a reaction of what is around us. Mozart saw the beauty of childhood and the beauty of God and made music about it. Now, our world has gotten far, far more complicated and we are reacting to it in different ways. We react with hate and we react with humour. But that doesn't mean it's the end of us. There are still people who have hope for a better future, and if we don't have hope then that means we're doomed. I choose to hope. I'm not sure about you though.
Say, what do you all think of that third movement, the "Menuet and Trio"? That's my absolute favorite movement of the whole piece; I even saved the whole work into my Favourites if only for that!
2010 it was my 60th birthday In south Korea big party 60th birthday So I went Lincoln Center "Most Mozart " Watch and nice dinner" Most memorable birthday
Una nota por separado no me dice nada pero toda una melodía con todas sus notas bien armonizadas y bien relacionadas me dicen mucho.... con Mozart más que mucho.
Good morning Mozart lovers! I hope you have a great day, I have been on a personal project I started a couple of months ago. I would call it my personal "Mozaton!" I have decided to listen to all the works of Master Mozart listening 1 particular piece per day as many times as possible. So far I have been amazed by all the piano and violin concertos and now I'm halfway on the Symphonies. What works would you recommend I should I listen after? Thank you and greetings from Bolivia.
Hi from Hungary :) I listen his music almost every day. This morning I listened symphony no. 15, first movement, I really love it. My other favourite is piano concerto no. 15 in B flat major 😍
Mohammed Pasha I don't understand the condescension afforded Mozart's symphonies. Each and every one of them, beginning with #19, is an exquisite sculpture in sound...and Mozart generally used much smaller orchestras than composers beginning with Beethoven, and afterwards. This present work is a glorious tone poem.
At first, I thought it was the PAL version. (In fact, I created a channel specifically for de-PALing videos.) But it turns out that Am4d3usM0z4rt is simply trying to avoid copyright infringement.

development is short, no cadence. here is where Mozart breaks with protocol, Recap starts with 2o theme. not 1o. then finishes with 1o theme and coda. 2nd movement is very pastoral. flutes instead of oboes. this is rare for Mozart.
Can you elaborate? The recap starts with the second theme? That's what I was thinking but I have no grasp on why. I was thinking after his motif of sequencing through themes from 92-95 we arrive at the recap at 96.
I do have favor motzarts piano symphony 21 but I am not a fan of the very popular 40. What music is such a personal thing isn't it? What one person finds moving another person finds annoying
Aspasia Baker I am so confused. Mozarts Piano Concerto 21 is indeed very popular (and of course it goes without saying excellent), but this video is Symphony 21 so I'm not sure which one you are referring to. Now of course there aren't even 40 piano concertos, and Symphony no. 40 is also very popular.. I think I feel dizzy trying to understand your comment.. ;)
Everyone has a certain composer that they like.its all about whats important to you and even your values in life and your personality that makes you choose a certain composer.mozart is the only classical composer that does anything for me even though i tried the others.i dont look for innovations or wit wit in composers as it doesnt impress me like other people.but with mozart i naturally find it.and his music appeals to my personality, although the baroque has all the greatest qualities that i cant find in classical music except mozart comes the closest.so i cant fault anyone for liking a certain composer because everyone will have their own preference.
Pity there's no sheet music follow-along vid, friend, you couldn't've put more? I know I can just look up the score and play the piece but sayin, it wouldv been nice

THANK YOU FOR SYMPHONY 21 !!!
I almost cried when i first heard it. Like, "Damn! Where have you been all my life, oh, sweet symphony!"
Truly touching.
😂😂😂 I can relate to this 100%
Nothing like 3rd symphony of beethoven but amazing work
He escuchado TODAS las sinfonias de Mozart y nunca he entendido por qué esta sinfonía no goza de mayor fama y consideración. INFRAVALORADA! MAGNÍFICA!

@@franciscocastillomata9786 Mozart, Beethoven y Chopin, mi tercia de ases. Si tuviera que formar el poker incluiría a Liszt.

Ricardo Mena I agree with Abert's perspective
Listening to this for my 21st birthday! :)
How Beautiful is "K.134"..I loved it!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!

I love the first movement of it 😍😍
Also good for babies to find peace.. so harmonious... thanks for sharing!
3:4 is a very BBC middle class sort of time signature.
9:19 sounds like Beethoven, we can only imagine how much he held back due to lazy standards of the listeners.

My favorite too
I realize I am kinda randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to watch newly released movies online ?
I'm generally not a fan of minuets and trios, but this one is excellent!
16:39 that's a beautiful bassoon, a bold choice too, considering there is no basson whatsoever in this piece
mozar was an big artist il love his musique ! it was a good art
Amazing and exquisite.
Heaven on earth!
Je t'aime Wolfgang !

sorel edwin suarez Hi from South Africa. Difficult to choose! All his works so uplifting and magnificant. Mozart's Requiem maybe?
Good morning dear friends,
Have s wonderful day!
His best works are his operas and church music. They outshine all his instrumental works except the piano concerti.

Why does it sound in B-dur?
too many ads in the middle of the concert
this is my favourite "k"
Matei Copot I agree. It's unfortunate this magnificent work isn't programmed more often
why does this wonderfull performance sound like B-flat major instead of A major?
Copyright? RUclips has detected what the piece is, however.
I play classical music on the piano and Beethoven is my man. I love Mozart but his music can be dizzying to listen to.

If I didn't know otherwise, I would have guessed this symphony was a Haydn composition.
Just recently (well, maybe I was half asleep), I did in fact guess this was Haydn!
