I would also love a mens rubber rain boot. I love winter ready rubber boots but i know that would be hard to make so i would just winterize them myself. Just use the same lugs from the gracie and make it a mid calf boot and you guys have a winner.
For shoe lines like the hfs/hfs 2, is it the plan to phase out the original or is there room for both options to be available for customers. Same for the prio and prio neo. Thanks!
In the case of the HFS and HFS II, the original version will be discontinued much like iterations of the original TerraFlex and Mesa Trail to make way for the newer version. That said, we still offer styles like the Zelen, which will keep the original HFS's tire-inspired sole and stack height.
The majority our shoes will fit up to an EE width comfortably, which is typically considered and extra wide fit. That said, we currently do not have plans on offering wider width options, however we can pass this feedback along to our design team, so hopefully this can be an option in the future.
I wear Xero shoes for my running. It is getting well below freezing outside. On days like that I tend to jump on the treadmill but would prefer to run outside. I wear Injinji socks with my HFS2 now but my feet are still so cold. I was wondering if you had any suggestions? Are any of your shoes better for winter running than others? I run on roads only. Thanks!
For colder or wetter weather, you could consider styles like our Mesa Trail II (a fully waterproof trail runner) or our Alpine (a fully waterproof hiker with 200g insulation). Warmer socks should also help out with our lighter and more breathable athletic styles like the HFS II.
The majority of our shoes will fit up to an EE width comfortably and they will feature a naturally wide toe box. Most of our styles will feature light and soft mesh uppers, so something more substantial such as the upper of the Xcursion Fusion can feel more restrictive. In this style, we recommend ordering a half size up as they tend to fit a little smaller overall.
How about a Xero shoes variant of bowling shoes?? 😀 I went bowling with my wife a few weeks ago and it was literally PAINFUL to wear the house bowling shoes. I had to wear toe spreaders for about an hour to help "reshape" my toes.
Why do the cushioned insoles in my Xcursion Fusion boots keep sliding back past my heel when I'm walking around in them? Is there an easy way to keep this from happening?
We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your insoles! We recommend emailing our support team at support@xeroshoes.com and they can assist you in getting new insoles that won't slide back.
I've noticed that when I wear your shoes that they are a little noisier hitting the ground, is this because you have the 5000 mile warranty which makes them a little harder?
Our soles will likely be a bit harder, but most of that slapping noise will also come from form. You can find an article that we wrote about it here: xeroshoes.com/correcting-barefoot-running-issues-part-2-slapping-sounds/
We really like Injinji socks, which are toe socks. Unfortunately, we do not have specific recommendations for a regular style of sock, however there are probably some more spacious or stretchy ones that can be found online.
Mr Foamer Simpson and Ben Patrick recently released their model 2.0 version of the Uncivilized Sneaker for basketball. When will the Xero Shoes version of a basketball shoe become available?
We do not currently have an ETA on when new styles like this could be released, however we release new styles every Spring and Fall during their respective product launches and sales. You can get updates on these launches via our newsletter here: bit.ly/newsletter-ni
We have had to discontinue shipping packages to certain countries, including India, due to unreliable delivery. You may want to look into the following courier services that may be able to forward packages to your location: www.shipito.com/ www.bonvu.com/ We now have a few styles available on Amazon. Also, many of our international customers ship their shoes to friends or family in the US, UK, or Australia who will be visiting soon.
A lot of this will likely have to do with the hazards that they would encounter on a regular basis. For example, having a thicker and heavier sole can protect against sharp metal and other potential dangers.
The industrial military complex is a very slow moving machine... They are very slow to adapt anything and will usually have to pay for their own research for a drastic change like that. They're decades behind the civilian market, and even if they do know what the best option is, it ultimately won't matter because they will take the lowest bid for whoever is supplying a product that meets x requirements. I'm sure there are quite a few civilians training in Barefoot shoes, but I have no proof obviously.

Can't compare the shoes but the sandals are amazing.

The original HFS sole is on the forza runner and Zelen

It would be awesome if you made the womens zelen fig/black color for men sizes. Also a composite toe work shoe or mid shoe would be great too.
Thanks for your feedback! We will pass this along to our design team.
Xeros toe box isn't as wide as othe barefoot shoes, do you plan on making any shoes that have a wider toe box than you currently have?

Why is the toe box on the Xcursion Fusion not as wide as other Xero shoes?

Why are bowling shoes so damn narrow? 😂
Thanks for your feedback! We will pass this along to our design team, so hopefully this can be an option in the future.
@@AstoundLikesWoW I have NO CLUE (maybe something to due with sliding..🤷🏽♂). - but it needs to change 😂

Do you have any recommendation for "Barefoot" socks that don't have separate toe slots? A lot of socks just feel too snug in the toes.
We really like Injinji socks, which are toe socks. Unfortunately, we do not have specific recommendations for a regular style of sock, however there are probably some more spacious or stretchy ones that can be found online.
@@xeroshoes I think I just have to try a pair of Injinjis, keep hearing great things about them. Thanks

If minimal footwear helps develop the strongest feet, why do you think the military hasn’t adopted minimal designs in their boots?
