Merry Christmas everybody! I'm so grateful to be able to make content for you all and to have you all as viewers. Thank you for changing my life in so many ways, hope you have a good day 💙
I absolutely love the weakness segment, so insightful and makes the videos even more in depth and the videos coming after them really hype, cause now you expect to see how Aaron plays accordingly to the team's weaknesses (bypass them, brute force through them, maybe fall victim to them) and you learn so much more. You can now recognize more faults on the opponent's teams and team build better after a while, keep it up!
Used to watch Aaron Cybertron back in ORAS days. Hearing the 'Aaron Cybertron Zheng here' after all these years brings me a lot of warmth back. Keep doing your thing man!
I’ve honestly been so excited to run Drifblim this gen but not even just because of Indeedee stuff. It *finally* got Air Slash this gen, and I remember when it was heavily used in series 6 of SwSh that the main complaint against it was that it had to use Gust for flying coverage. I’ll definitely be building with it in the future. With that said, Merry Christmas Aaron! You were one of my most watched content creators of the year and I can’t wait to see what you’ve got planned for 2023💕
Just got to Ultra for the first time, started watching your channel at the end of SWSH, it really helped me understand doubles and start to enjoy them way more. Thank you Aron and to a great new year.
Thanks for the content, you featuring unique teams makes playing way easier because I don't get caught off guard that easily anymore and you always give great insight. Keep doing the good work
Love the content. First time trying competitive pokemon in a long time and your videos are helping me immensely climb through the ladder. Could you maybe do a video showcasing volcarona?
Since you mentioned Pokemon performing in a role that they don't normally do I would love to see Florges here. Apparently there is a Spanish team making the rounds that shows off how Florges can be used outside of just a clerical role
I wish this was one I had seen earlier than today 😅 I ran into this last night while I was running the one Snow team you showed (the one with indeedee and hydreigon), and the Indeedee Drifblim lead was interesting, but I was not prepared for the Pelipper and Golduck they brought, where 1) they set up rain 2) I swapped to Abomasnow to change the weather 3) they picked Hurricane and I picked Aurora Veil 3) they still managed to land the Hurricane on Abomasnow, took it to Sash, got the confuse, and then Abomasnow hurt itself in confusion 😭 had no good way to overcome them with what I had left. Now I’ll know the team better :P
I'm starting to play rankeds in this game so I'm still at low ranks, and today I found this team. I thought the indeedee was basically for trick room and support, and in first turn it nearly ko my 2 first pokemon with the help of the helping hand of Drifblim! It surprised me, although like you said, this team doesn't survive long. Having beaten Indeedee and Drifblim, the game was already won. As always, thank you for sharing new teams and your knowledge on them!
I love your videos, thank you for consistenly posting them. It's somewhat common to run into teams you feature here, and understanding what they doing, or are trying to accomplish is very helpful. Also, gives me more insight as to how a lot of the thinking works. I probably should start over at the beginning of the Scarlet/Violet series again, because I've learned so much since then I've been trying to make my own team work, but it just feels like the Pokémon I wan to build the team around the most is just the weakest link of the bunch. My poor little Frosmoth o-o Edit: Oh, I forgot to answer the QOTD - My answer would be Rain, as I've been running a rain-core for basically he entire time. I tried making Snow work, but it just feels like it's not quite there yet
Merry Christmas Aaron! Please keep up your videos, it's become almost part of my daily routine watching what crazy teams your trying today. For the QOTD, I def think snow, which im making a team around right now. It feels super fun to use, and I think there are alot of mons that work really well. Im experimenting with specs rotom frost and frostmoth right now, feels very strong
This is exactly why fairy tera Farigiraf is my favorite support pokemon in series 1. everyone leads hydreigon+murkrow without fail thinking they can double up and stop my trick room, but then they just die to dazzle. psychic fangs and armor tail are additional supportive techs
Aaron Claus has brought us just what we wanted for Christmas... more Pokemon content! 😁 Happy holidays to all, and I hope your seasons (ranked and otherwise) are merry and bright.
Merry Christmas Aaron! Want to plant a seed in your head for a team idea: Revavroom with spin out and gyro ball. Use spin out to slow yourself down more and more and boost gyro balls power. Maybe this pairs onto a sand team or psychic terrain trick room? As for the QOTD, I'm loving snow but I'm more invested in terrain than weather lately.
qotd: i love all weather teams. i have a habit of doing more mono typed themed teams however so they are generally only good for casual play/fun if that makes sense. its fun to mess around and catch people off guard. like physical pelipper with life orb for example 😂 edit: thanks for the vid as always! ☃️❄️
QOTD: I'm on the snow train as well. Baxcalibur feels really underutilized to me right now and, not that it needs snow to operate, but I've been running AV on it and it's bulk is absolutely insane behind aurora veil plus the defense boost from snow. Even super effective hits only tend to do 60-70% to it and it can OHKO so many common pokemon. Been running heal pulse Indeedee next to it and they're one of the best duos I've ever used for cleaning up endgames
I've had decent success with this team with Floatzel over the Golduck for more physical options and a more reliable attacker, plus Floatzel is even decent outside of rain as an attacker - I swapped the Scisor for a Garchomp as well, which worked well since there's 2 flying types to dodge EQ & its Rough Skin also made it an answer to Maushold, whose Population Bomb is easier to read with the Drifblim/Indeedee lead.
to answer your question, Aaron, just finished a Weather Ball team using Pelipper, Torkoal, and Abomosnow as the setters and Arboliva, Kiliwatrel and Bronzing to take advantage. Feels a bit big brain but can't wait to get iron ladder.
Snow overall, though I've been trying Hurricane/Thunder/BoomBurst DuDunsparce in the rain and it's been fun. I've been able to blindside quite a few people, and it helps check Dondonzo pretty well. Electric tera to guarantee the 2HKO even after boost, one shot murkrow, most common flying teras, etc. Though I think I might switch to ghost to one-shot goldengo, 70%+ bulky annihilape, etc. Give a little more consistency when I lose the weather war. Definitively a case of building a team around using a favorite, but it's actually pretty good atm in Bo1 format
I've played around with sun and snow. Of these two, snow seems more exciting to me because there's quite a few directions I immediately can see (hyper offense, bulky offense, even defensive options with Rotom and Slowking) whereas with sun, I don't see much that wasn't there before. The tried and true LilliKoal is fun and powerful and I can see an interesting route with Dachsbun and Lava Plume for a more defensive approach. Rain is honestly the only weather I don't even want to try because the lack of any reliable STAB for special water types seems way too frustrating to me. Scald was annoying to play against for sure but I feel like stripping it away and only leaving options with friendly fire or shaky accuracy was the wrong call.
Snow is my favorite weather for sure I'm a brand new VGC player and just hit master ball rank for the first time with Atmospheres snow team. It's a really fun team to run for the season lol
Hmm, near the endgame of Game 5 I'd have gone for Hurricane + Surf into Houndstone. You'd have almost certainly won with that. Not sure I fully understand that last Protect on the Golduck. But anyway, thanks for all the awesome content and Merry Christmas!
Trick Room was still up. Since the Rain is up, Golduck's Swift Swim activates, meaning that Houndstone moves before it under Trick Room. If I get the second Protect off, then Golduck will outspeed Houndstone next turn since Trick Room ends that turn.
@@CybertronVGC I'm dumb, I totally forgot about Swift Swim. I don't know why for some reason I thought Golduck would be able to move first on that last turn. My mistake. Thanks for the explanation!
Merry Christmas, Aaron! I just wanted to check and make sure you're okay, because your voice sounds a bit like you're catching a cold. I had to spent Christmas locked in my room with COVID so I wouldn't get my roommates sick. Gladly, I was not alone, since my partner had also caught COVID and we were able to spend the day together.
Merry Christmas Aaron! Finally reached Master Ball rank yesterday using the Farigiraf Hariyama team you featured before so I just wanted to say thanks! Your vids are super useful and informative as always !
QOTD: It's gotta be Snow. the Abomasnow/Cetitan core is something that I've been having a lot of fun with. Although I do have to admit the recent uptick of Tyranitar/Lycanroc on the ladder hasn't made my life easy. Managing to beat them is very satisfying. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
Drifblim as super fire cause it also gets Haze so it can deal with Dondozo. Been using it on a team as a tailwind setter and it isn't that bad at all, really underrated pick
Nice team. For donzo you'd have to sacrifice swift swim with golduck and replace it with a Timid water absorb Terra blast fire or grass / haze vaporeon.
There's so much hype around wetaher teams but not really that much use in the ladder. Always safe to bring a Alataria Tailwind build just incase though.
Qotd: even with the changes to hail (now snow), I gotta say that I still love sun. Chlorophyll shenanigans, the damage from stuff like torkoal, and then some of the paradox pokemon will utilize it eventually.
Merry Christmas everybody! I'm so grateful to be able to make content for you all and to have you all as viewers. Thank you for changing my life in so many ways, hope you have a good day 💙
40 seconds
Merry Christmas Aaron! 🎄
Merry Christmas, Aaron! Thanks for the content! Always helping everyone improve their game.
Merry Christmas, brother
Merry Christmas Aaron! You gave me something to watch while I wait for my kids to get up haha

I'm a newbie. Started playing on ladder by watching your video showcases and I'm having a lot of fun. Thank you Aaron!

I wanna use it because it learns Tailwind and Trick Room and has middling speed, so it can abuse both
The fact that Sandaconda learns hurricane, but Drifblim can't..
Around 2 years ago I got into competitive Pokémon because of you. Thank you!
Let’s see a Coil Eelektross team!
Often feels like dynamic speed doesn't get enough love for being such a great/creative change
Just got to Ultra for the first time, started watching your channel at the end of SWSH, it really helped me understand doubles and start to enjoy them way more. Thank you Aron and to a great new year.
Merry Christmas Aaron and thank you for all the content this year. Looking forward to next year's.

Drfiblim is such an amazing catalyst he works in almost any team imaginable.

I was your last opponent in your starter race with Wolfey! Love your videos!
Merry Christmas. Happy to subscribe, first game doing vgc and having a blast thanks to videos like yours.
Great video! and cool team Cybertron

I'm glad you fought an opponent with the tyranitar lycanroc team. I tried this endeedee team and had 5 opponents in a row with the lycanroc team
Happy Holidays Aaron! I’m superrrr grateful to have found your channel. Thank you for uploading as frequent as possible. Love every single video!
Merry Christmas Aaron. Thank you for all the years of helping noobs like me learn. Also have a Happy New Year and stay safe King.
Came up against this team twice today, and got absolutely wrecked, so thank you for the rental code, b/c I really want to give it a try.
these videos have really brought my passion back to the format. really enjoying these a lot
Cool to see a Sejun Park concept come back up in this meta. Believe he piloted Tapu Lele, Drifblim team back in the day
This type of stuff os what I live for in vgc. I started doing ranked doubles recently because of this top teir content
Just played this game on the showdown ladder... Got completely hammered. Now it all makes sense...
Merry Christmas Cybertron. Thanks for all the new videos.
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 thx for putting together all the top notch content.
We appreciate you Aaron and merry Christmas much love and blessings brother!
Love how you managed to fit in 5 games cause it was HO. Merry Christmas
I’ve been really enjoying snow. I’ve been using the rental team you featured and it’s pretty fun

I honestly have no idea how you work full time and also produce videos every day. You’re insane and awesome but I hope you take breaks for yourself!!
Love seeing Drifblim. Also, Merry Christmas everyone!
Merry Christmas, thanks for the upload to keep me entertained in the slow part.
QOTD: Sun, because I love Torkoal Lilligant in my Trick Room team.
Merry Christmas, thank you for all the great content friend
Love your videos and love this team! 5 super underrated mons in it imo.
Cybertron turned to Cyberpunk with that deep voice mic😂
This reminds me of the dynamax lele + drifblim combo from last gen. Cool video!
This is exactly why fairy tera Farigiraf is my favorite support pokemon in series 1. everyone leads hydreigon+murkrow without fail thinking they can double up and stop my trick room, but then they just die to dazzle. psychic fangs and armor tail are additional supportive techs
it might just be me but your voice was so much deeper this video 😮
Oh and Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎁
Aaron Claus has brought us just what we wanted for Christmas... more Pokemon content! 😁
Happy holidays to all, and I hope your seasons (ranked and otherwise) are merry and bright.

Thanks for the Videos! I'm working my way up to Master Tier because of your guides .
You played very scared during the last game. Creative team as always
Merry Christmas Aaron! Great video to see when I've got back from work
QOTD: i like sand.
It's rough, coarse and it gets everywhere.
Nothing better than eating leftovers from Christmas eve and listening to live commentary as I go
Merry Christmas, Aaron! I hope you have a wonderful one :)
Merry Christmas Aaron! Feel better soon mate
Love you man, really like what you do
Happy holidays. That TTar Dozo team you shared got me to masterball for the first time in the season. I’ve actually faced your last opponent lol
qotd: i love all weather teams. i have a habit of doing more mono typed themed teams however so they are generally only good for casual play/fun if that makes sense. its fun to mess around and catch people off guard. like physical pelipper with life orb for example 😂

Merry Christmas Cybertron thanks for the awesome content
Happy Holidays and keep on gaming!
W christmas upload 🎄🎄🎄

QOTD: Real man uses all four on the same team (I'm no real man)
Double Duck and Drifblum? Reminds me of 2017 😀
That dc felt personal 😂 I know that person was flabbergasted by what just happened
You can add grass knot to gold Duck plus make it Tera grass. Dondozos generally don't see that coming. Plus also helps against Gastrodom
I played against this team this morning and it caught me off guard. 😅
Merry Christmas Cybertron!!!
As a kid psyduck was my favorite. I see a team that uses the best duck, instant like and must build.
ive been loving rain recently because swift swim drednaw is funny
4-0 with this team, finally hitted master ball and really felt like pokeball.
Considering how many dark types are running this meta, as a dark type lover/user i would love to see a monotype dark team for vgc !
Merry Christmas dude!
Merry Christmas Mr.Cybertron
Merry Christmas Aaron! Finally reached Master Ball rank yesterday using the Farigiraf Hariyama team you featured before so I just wanted to say thanks! Your vids are super useful and informative as always !

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
I love the new snow Pokemon, AV Cetitan feels solid and i hope we get alolan ninetails in the dlcs
Not only the standard Tatsugiri, but the set with the sneaky Storm Drain Tatsugiri could give people trouble depending on what they bring.
Drifblim as super fire cause it also gets Haze so it can deal with Dondozo. Been using it on a team as a tailwind setter and it isn't that bad at all, really underrated pick
Team looks really fun. I would just add clear smog to golduck as an option to dozo combo.
That last game opponent felt like their team was designed to count you, at least in Team Preview.
*Notices this is my 4th time on this channel this week*
Sigh... FINE I'll subscribe.
Nice team. For donzo you'd have to sacrifice swift swim with golduck and replace it with a Timid water absorb Terra blast fire or grass / haze vaporeon.
I use pelican and barriskuda... but sand and houndstone looks interesting with hyper speed trick room options.
13:45 that trainer movin
Lol... I JUST finished fleshing out an offensive indeedee team.... What timing... Made it so indeedee can OHKO gholdengo and annilhilape.
There's so much hype around wetaher teams but not really that much use in the ladder. Always safe to bring a Alataria Tailwind build just incase though.
Um, yes I will be trying this team! Drifblim is one of my all time favorite Pokémon lol
I think my favorite weather is drought. Simply because I like Torkoal
Merry Christmas ❤️
THE THUMBNAIL HAS ME HOWLING
