Salvation is by faith alone in Christ. Not works, prayers, rituals, sacraments, the mass, hail marys. Christ alone. Jesus said it is finished. We do not confess sins to priests, we confess them to Christ alone. Mary is not co-mediator between God and man. The Bible says there is one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the way they truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except thru Him. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is ternal life thru Jesus Christ our Lord, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

Trevor your video just popped up on my screen and I was going to skip over it but decided to watch instead. I had a similar experience except that I received a message from God at about 6 years old telling me that he wanted me in the Catholic Church! I was 6! I was a Lutheran who grew up in a 90% Jewish neighborhood! I didn’t know what Catholic was. But the message didn’t end there. He told me to wait until I was older. That I should respect and honor my parents wishes as I grew up and I would know when to make this change. I went home and asked my mom what Catholic was! So she explained. The urge became strong at my confirmation which was 9th grade. I spoke to my mother again and she took me to talk to my pastor. He thought I should wait. And I knew I had to wait. I started college at 17 and immediately sought out the Catholic Church. I began attending mass and then approached the priest about becoming Catholic. RCIA didn’t really exist yet so the classes were over several weekends. I was brought into the church that following Easter at 18 years old. My boyfriend at the time who I had only dated for 10 weeks or so I found out was Catholic. Later we ended up married about a year after graduating from college. I have never regretted my decision and I love the church. My entire family are Protestant and some ask questions and don’t understand. I attended a four year school in Catholic Bible teaching and later immersed myself in books and the catechism so that I knew how to answer these questions. Of course they think reconciliation is nuts and that the Eucharist is body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ. But they don’t have a clue what I feel when I receive him. If you don’t believe you won’t feel it. And you shouldn’t receive it as it is a mortal sin. But anyway I just wanted to tell you, I get it. I’ve been there. I have been Catholic 41 years now. I know it didn’t just happen for you but welcome home!
So true!! I was a cradle catholic, but didn't really know my faith. At all. Then I met some protestants, listened to what they had to say, didn't know how to answer to their questions and in some time I became a protestant myself. I started studying Bible and found out answers for the questions I have heard from protestants about catholicism. Then after one year I became a Catholic. It truly is a blessing.

If idols and statues are completely forbidden then God would never ask Moses to make two statues and put it on the Ark of the Covenant Also in 1 Chronicles 28:18, there is a reference of statues. In Ezekiel 41:17-18 it mentions not just two cherubs, but many statues of angels in the Jerusalem temple. And in 1 Kings 6:27 when Solomon made the Jerusalem temple he put Cherubs in it And Gods presence came in that temple as written in 1 Kings 8:10 “A cloud filled the house of the Lord”. God didn’t get angry at them or tell them to destroy the statues, but He Himself told them to build it and His presence did come into the temple. So statues are permitted in the church provided we do not worship the statues. @David Ortiz that’s a laugh and a half. Purgatory goes against the need of Christ dying on the cross for us. As does the concept of the immaculate conception (Mary wasn’t without sin). These are just two of many examples.
Trevor, I am in my mid 50s. I was born n raised a Catholic. I was an Alter boy, Baptised, n all the tradions. I left the Catholic Church, and am a New Thought Christian now n very happy. None the less Trevor, it gave such a richness to my younger life. To this day, I somewhat miss all the rituals, the Robes, incense, stained glass windows, candles flickering, the beautiful , Gregorian chant n Latin style music. And I do follow this Pope n am very fond of Pope Francis. As a kid around age 10 in Chicago here, Pope John Paul, came here n did an outdoor service n I got to be there, hear it n even saw him drive by in a Limo. Ok Catholic converts ! I am a former seminarian ....the RC church is now changing. Mayan idol worship was permitted in the Vatican at a Synod OCYOBER 2019...the Pope was there with his cardinals.....idol worship is against Bible teaching and orthodox catholic teaching. Perhaps this young man was in a church where they don't teach their youth thorough Bible teaching.

I do not belong to any church or denomination and I heard and read so many bad things against Catholic Church church and why it is not right that I got so scared to just accept Catholic faith but something just similar way like with you is keep calling me to study about Catholics and search and try to understand rosary and al other things that I don’t know what to do. Don’t trust the ‘hear says’. The true and actual teaching of the Catholic Church are not hidden, they are readily available for all. There are catechism books, videos on RUclips etc that explains why catholics believe what they believe. You can also simply visit a catholic parish to speak to a nun or a priest, better yet, you can join the RCIA just to get the information you need then if it’s conversion, let the Lord guide you. But at the end of the day you’d have made your decision base on actual facts.

Catholic church founded the first schools, orphanages and hospitals, cannonized the bible, monks of the Catholic church preserved the bible through hand copying and translations long before there was a printing press that is why we have a bible now, the Catholic church is the single biggest charitable institution on earth, founded by Christ and survived the centuries from the very beginning as Jesus had promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, produced the most Saints and miracles even at the very present time. When someone or someone's family gets possessed, Catholic or non Catholic and even non Christian, he'd most probably run to a Catholic priest for exorcism.

I believe holy scripture states its best when it says " Judge not lest ye be judged ", in the new testament it also states how God and the spirit reveal themselves through a state of nature . There are a good number of books on Christian yoga as well are not all the qualities of God God or do you have the type of heart that would see all those people in hell? I do not have that type of heart and take care as blaspheming the holy spirit a good tree good fruit is evil & unforgivable .

The Catholic Church is not a denomination. The Catholic Church is the ONE and only Church established by Jesus Christ. All other Christian “churches” were founded by individuals. I was raised in a protestant family. I hated the church. I loathed the teachings. In High School I was part of a Concert Choir. We guest performed on Sundays in various local churches. One Sunday we performed during a Catholic Mass. It was the first time I had attended a Catholic Mass. It felt so totally different from our church. I knew that Jesus was actually there, and not in our church. When I turned eighteen, I converted. My parents flipped, but eventually they got over it.
As I listen to you your testimony, it sounds familiar, except I left the Church as a snarky teenager for a protestant church due to bias against the Church. After 40yrs away & "bothered" for quite some time, praying & speaking to the local priest, God has called me home!! It's improving my faith life as well . I have no regrets & best wishes for you. I came from a protestant background, different family members of several denominations. Very confusing. So I asked God to lead me to the truth. I met a few catholic people and decided to go to my nearest Catholic Church. The Holy Spirit showed me that this was the Truth that I was searching for. I was a grandfather before I became Catholic. Welcome to God's ONE and TRUE Faith! Ephesians 4:15 "There is one Lord, ONE FAITH, one baptism" The one faith is the Church that Jesus Himself founded. Matthew 16:18 "So I now say to you: You are Peter and on this rock I will build MY CHURCH." I'm a French-Canadian in my 60s and I have always been Catholic. But even as a Catholic you need to constantly be converted. I've had several conversions within my own Church, growing in faith all the time. Stay where God has led you into. Stay put. From what I hear Catholic Converts (and I daresay Reverts) make the most solid Catholics. God led you to The Church for a reason(s). You must always remember this. I was raised Catholic, with a severely anti-Catholic mother so naturally I had some serious issues with The Church for many years. I entered the Protestant Paradigm as a young adult and stayed entrenched there for 15 years (keep in mind I was never actually a member of any Protestant Church as I didn't go to Church, I simply listened to Protestant/Evangelical teachings and read their books, etc. ....that was my "church" essentially). I came out of the Protestant Paradigm deeply frustrated and kindda angry at what I saw. Protestants - generally speaking- don't take spirituality anywhere as seriously as they should. There is still a heavy bent toward the temporal. Anyways, that's a long story for another day.... It was at that point of pretty much nope-ing out of Protestantism that God re-introduced me back into the Catholic Church and fixed all the issues I had with The Church (specifically had to do with Mary and the Saints...plus trusting that Christ is indeed in the Church). It's been wonderful and beautiful ever since February/March this year. That deep, weird, wacky spirituality I had been searching for pretty much all my life.....and the irony is that I was actually born into it....baptized into it at two months old😊

I believe that the greatest strength of the Catholic Church is allowing the spiritual journey to progress and develop without a lot of grandstanding and oratory prowess by a few over many others. The Catholic Church allows each member to find his spiritual being (self) through reflection from reading the scriptures himself. I believe that it is from this basic self-involvement with the word of God and God Himself that makes Catholicism a deeply self-fulfilling conduit to Christ. Lastly, Catholicism allows and encourages all faithful to be disciples through their social occupations such as work, family etc. basically through all that they do. Be strengthened brother Trevor. In Exodus 25:18 When God was telling Moses to make an Ark of the covenant he told him to also make ‘two Cherubim of gold, and place them on the two ends of the mercy seat”. If idols and statues are completely forbidden then God would never ask Moses to make two statues and put it on the Ark of the Covenant Also in 1 Chronicles 28:18, there is a reference of statues. In Ezekiel 41:17-18 it mentions not just two cherubs, but many statues of angels in the Jerusalem temple. And in 1 Kings 6:27 when Solomon made the Jerusalem temple he put Cherubs in it And Gods presence came in that temple as written in 1 Kings 8:10 “A cloud filled the house of the Lord”. God didn’t get angry at them or tell them to destroy the statues, but He Himself told them to build it and His presence did come into the temple. So statues are permitted in the church provided we do not worship the statues. Beautiful. This is very similar to a story a lapsed catholic told me once. When they prayed seriously asking for help knowing what they should do, that's when things started happening. It is my conviction that God gives guidance and answers prayers when we need it, typically as we get more desperate. Another, non-Catholic has a similar story. The more people I meet converting to Catholicism or orthodoxy, the more I hear stories like this. And I keep thinking of two things. First, "Knock and the door will be opened." Second, Christ allowing Lazarus to die, and not answering the prayers of Mary and Martha as they expected.

Trevor your video just popped up on my screen and I was going to skip over it but decided to watch instead. I had a similar experience except that I received a message from God at about 6 years old telling me that he wanted me in the Catholic Church! I was 6! I was a Lutheran who grew up in a 90% Jewish neighborhood! I didn’t know what Catholic was. But the message didn’t end there. He told me to wait until I was older. That I should respect and honor my parents wishes as I grew up and I would know when to make this change. I went home and asked my mom what Catholic was! So she explained. The urge became strong at my confirmation which was 9th grade. I spoke to my mother again and she took me to talk to my pastor. He thought I should wait. And I knew I had to wait. I started college at 17 and immediately sought out the Catholic Church. I began attending mass and then approached the priest about becoming Catholic. RCIA didn’t really exist yet so the classes were over several weekends. I was brought into the church that following Easter at 18 years old. My boyfriend at the time who I had only dated for 10 weeks or so I found out was Catholic. Later we ended up married about a year after graduating from college. I have never regretted my decision and I love the church. My entire family are Protestant and some ask questions and don’t understand. I attended a four year school in Catholic Bible teaching and later immersed myself in books and the catechism so that I knew how to answer these questions. Of course they think reconciliation is nuts and that the Eucharist is body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ. But they don’t have a clue what I feel when I receive him. If you don’t believe you won’t feel it. And you shouldn’t receive it as it is a mortal sin. But anyway I just wanted to tell you, I get it. I’ve been there. I have been Catholic 41 years now. I know it didn’t just happen for you but welcome home!

Trevor, I am in my mid 50s. I was born n raised a Catholic. I was an Alter boy, Baptised, n all the tradions. I left the Catholic Church, and am a New Thought Christian now n very happy. None the less Trevor, it gave such a richness to my younger life. To this day, I somewhat miss all the rituals, the Robes, incense, stained glass windows, candles flickering, the beautiful , Gregorian chant n Latin style music. And I do follow this Pope n am very fond of Pope Francis. As a kid around age 10 in Chicago here, Pope John Paul, came here n did an outdoor service n I got to be there, hear it n even saw him drive by in a Limo. Ok Catholic converts ! I am a former seminarian ....the RC church is now changing. Mayan idol worship was permitted in the Vatican at a Synod OCYOBER 2019...the Pope was there with his cardinals.....idol worship is against Bible teaching and orthodox catholic teaching. Perhaps this young man was in a church where they don't teach their youth thorough Bible teaching.
Now many RC churches no longer teach orthodox catholic teachings on sexual ethics including artificial birth control.

There are catechism books, videos on RUclips etc that explains why catholics believe what they believe. You can also simply visit a catholic parish to speak to a nun or a priest, better yet, you can join the RCIA just to get the information you need then if it’s conversion, let the Lord guide you.
But at the end of the day you’d have made your decision base on actual facts.

Catholic church founded the first schools, orphanages and hospitals, cannonized the bible, monks of the Catholic church preserved the bible through hand copying and translations long before there was a printing press that is why we have a bible now, the Catholic church is the single biggest charitable institution on earth, founded by Christ and survived the centuries from the very beginning as Jesus had promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, produced the most Saints and miracles even at the very present time. When someone or someone's family gets possessed, Catholic or non Catholic and even non Christian, he'd most probably run to a Catholic priest for exorcism.

My dearest daughter, My Desire is that each one of you respond to the Call of the Most Holy Trinity at this time. The Power of the Blessed Trinity is beyond the interference of man and by the Grace of My Love, I reach out to humanity to declare the Truth.
Be not afraid of your Father, for I Am yours and you are Mine. All Power is in My Hands and I make great exceptions in order to unite the world. Many souls are indifferent to Me. They shun Me, deny My Existence and insult My Divinity by placing false gods, made of molten gold, before Me. All that is made of clay will be replaced by a renewed existence. Nothing on this Earth is eternal. Everything turns back into dust. All that is eternal is not of your world. I created man in My Likeness. I blew forth life and you were given breath and it is I Who will take it away. All begins and ends with Me and no man can or will dictate how I will unite My children. That task is Mine - not yours. My Plans to salvage souls - the good, the bad and the wretched, will not be destroyed. Damaged, perhaps, but never ruined, for all that I say will be and all that I desire will come to pass.
I know each of you, as you were born out of My Love. Whatever your circumstances, they evolved because of Divine Providence and there is a reason for everything. Those of you who do not know Me - you are also Mine, for I created you. You did not evolve from the species. To believe that, is to deceive yourself and serves only as a means, planted by the deceiver in your hearts, to deny Me. By denying Me, your Eternal Father, you deny Eternal Salvation. And by denying the Truth of My Existence, you will separate yourself from an existence of eternal glory.
All Mercy is Mine. I lavish My Mercy on those whose hearts are pure; who have love in their souls because they have allowed Me to enter into them. The main obstacle to receiving Eternal Life is the pride of humanity. Pride is the single biggest barrier to uniting yourself to Me. You may know Me, through My Son; understand My Word, but you do not practice what you have been taught. Love comes from Me. When there is pride in the soul, love dies within it and is replaced with hatred. Pride comes from Satan and it is abhorrent to Me, just as it is distressing.
Let Me love you by accepting My Word and the Gifts I gave the world through the biggest Sacrifice of My Son’s death on the Cross. I gave you life. I gave you Myself, through the Manifestation of My Son. I lowered Myself, in humility before you, in order to defeat the sin of pride. I taught you through the prophets. I gave you the Gift of free will but you abused it to satisfy your own lusts and desires. The Gift of free will has a dual purpose - to give you the freedom to choose, so that you do not come to Me out of fear, but out of love and to defeat the power of the devil. It is your free will that Satan covets most of all and he will use every deceit to get you to hand it over to him. When souls do this, through the sin of pride, new age practices and the occult, they become enslaved by the evil one. He will then manifest, within the souls who hand him over their free will, every single one of his traits. You will know them by their behaviour. But the one sign that their free will has been given to the evil one is when these souls constantly seek to publicly mock My Son, Jesus Christ, and His Mother, the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of the World. Satan despises both of them.
If, instead, you use the free will I gave you, for the good of your soul and to love one another, this is a powerful means by which to dilute the power of Satan. But, it is those souls who give to Me, through My Son, Jesus Christ, the gift of their free will, that give the most powerful gift of all. It will be through these souls that I will defeat the evil one and the means by which I can save the souls of those who have completely separated themselves from Me.
That is My Promise. I will save the souls of even the most hopeless cases because of the sacrifices of those who give Me this gift of their free will, through My Son, Jesus Christ.

If God intended for us to never make statues then He wouldn’t have told us to make a statue in the first place. In Exodus 25:18 When God was telling Moses to make an Ark of the covenant he told him to also make ‘two Cherubim of gold, and place them on the two ends of the mercy seat”.
If idols and statues are completely forbidden then God would never ask Moses to make two statues and put it on the Ark of the Covenant
Also in 1 Chronicles 28:18, there is a reference of statues.
In Ezekiel 41:17-18 it mentions not just two cherubs, but many statues of angels in the Jerusalem temple.
And in 1 Kings 6:27 when Solomon made the Jerusalem temple he put Cherubs in it And Gods presence came in that temple as written in 1 Kings 8:10 “A cloud filled the house of the Lord”.
God didn’t get angry at them or tell them to destroy the statues, but He Himself told them to build it and His presence did come into the temple.
So statues are permitted in the church provided we do not worship the statues.

I was raised in a protestant family. I hated the church. I loathed the teachings. In High School I was part of a Concert Choir. We guest performed on Sundays in various local churches. One Sunday we performed during a Catholic Mass. It was the first time I had attended a Catholic Mass. It felt so totally different from our church. I knew that Jesus was actually there, and not in our church. When I turned eighteen, I converted. My parents flipped, but eventually they got over it.

As I listen to you your testimony, it sounds familiar, except I left the Church as a snarky teenager for a protestant church due to bias against the Church. After 40yrs away & "bothered" for quite some time, praying & speaking to the local priest, God has called me home!! It's improving my faith life as well . I have no regrets & best wishes for you. Praise God!
I came from a protestant background, different family members of several denominations. Very confusing. So I asked God to lead me to the truth. I met a few catholic people and decided to go to my nearest Catholic Church. The Holy Spirit showed me that this was the Truth that I was searching for. I was a grandfather before I became Catholic. I'm not perfect but I'm on the right track.

I'm a French-Canadian in my 60s and I have always been Catholic. But even as a Catholic you need to constantly be converted. I've had several conversions within my own Church, growing in faith all the time.

I am a Catholic grandfather and I do appreciate your witness.
Stay where God has led you into. Stay put. From what I hear Catholic Converts (and I daresay Reverts) make the most solid Catholics. God led you to The Church for a reason(s). You must always remember this.
I was raised Catholic, with a severely anti-Catholic mother so naturally I had some serious issues with The Church for many years. I entered the Protestant Paradigm as a young adult and stayed entrenched there for 15 years (keep in mind I was never actually a member of any Protestant Church as I didn't go to Church, I simply listened to Protestant/Evangelical teachings and read their books, etc. ....that was my "church" essentially). I came out of the Protestant Paradigm deeply frustrated and kindda angry at what I saw. Protestants - generally speaking- don't take spirituality anywhere as seriously as they should. There is still a heavy bent toward the temporal.
Anyways, that's a long story for another day....
It was at that point of pretty much nope-ing out of Protestantism that God re-introduced me back into the Catholic Church and fixed all the issues I had with The Church (specifically had to do with Mary and the Saints...plus trusting that Christ is indeed in the Church).
It's been wonderful and beautiful ever since February/March this year. That deep, weird, wacky spirituality I had been searching for pretty much all my life.....and the irony is that I was actually born into it....baptized into it at two months old😊

I believe that the greatest strength of the Catholic Church is allowing the spiritual journey to progress and develop without a lot of grandstanding and oratory prowess by a few over many others. The Catholic Church allows each member to find his spiritual being (self) through reflection from reading the scriptures himself. I believe that it is from this basic self-involvement with the word of God and God Himself that makes Catholicism a deeply self-fulfilling conduit to Christ. Lastly, Catholicism allows and encourages all faithful to be disciples through their social occupations such as work, family etc. basically through all that they do. Be strengthened brother Trevor. I happen to stumble across your video and I can just say wow. You’ve truly motivated me a lot. Sometimes I get scared to show my faith and it’s no coincidence that I ran across your video. I felt like God was showing me that there’s people out there proud of their faith as well. God bless you Trevor. This is very similar to a story a lapsed catholic told me once. When they prayed seriously asking for help knowing what they should do, that's when things started happening. It is my conviction that God gives guidance and answers prayers when we need it, typically as we get more desperate. Another, non-Catholic has a similar story. The more people I meet converting to Catholicism or orthodoxy, the more I hear stories like this. And I keep thinking of two things. First, "Knock and the door will be opened." Second, Christ allowing Lazarus to die, and not answering the prayers of Mary and Martha as they expected.
