Thank you for the reminder that we can set our own start dates. I'm really not prepared for the new year after a super busy end of 2023, so starting in February and taking January to reset is just what I need!✨️
That's what I've always done. I've always had that fresh start feeling around the Lunar New Year. For my family, Christmas goes to the Epiphany, so after the sixth, we slowly take Christmas down and deep clean the house and get things organized as well as a lot of resting and movie watching.

The 31st of January is both my birthday and the day I submit my phd thesis so I am definitely starting my new year in February. This month is survival mode only!

I like the idea of starting my new year on 1st February. December is such a crazy time with Christmas so using January to wind up the year is a great idea.
Because I have SAD I’ve been trying to lean in to the solar calendar and decided that Imbolc at the start of feb (half way between the winter solstice and the spring equinox) is a really good ‘new year’ kind of date. This year I intentionally let myself have the whole of the bit between the solstice and then for the new year planning and refreshing and it’s feeling really nice and changing it from overwhelming to almost a comfy little ritual.
Same! I don’t think that I have SAD but I am very much struggling with this last slog of winter. Considering Spring/the equinox my real new year, and the period before that a warm-up, is helping so much. It feels so much more natural and we’re giving ourselves grace 🥰
My December self is rested and ambitious when I create an annual goal list. My January self is resentful of my December self. I like the idea of speed dating goals in January, then launching the realistic ones in Feb.

Love a good reset! My parents were here for Christmas and the New Year so I focused on them. They left on the 4th and I used that day and the next to refresh everything. My New Year’s Day was January 6th. 😁

I always try to reset for the new year, but if I am not able to I am lucky my birthday is near the beginning of the year. I absolutely reset by Feb 17- it’s about 6 weeks in so, for me, it is a good goal date. Oh and as for the crocs, apparently they are “stylish” according to my 15 year old cousin 😀

The only thing I got done before 2024 was my vision board. I have not resetting a thing but just like you, my plan is to do it now. Better late than never.

You could try mounting the calendar on some cardboard or sheeting, using a spray adhesive or similar
Double sided tape might be better

Bit late because you've already peeled them off, but a warm hairdryer to heat the sticky strips before peeling them works a treat ☺️

for the flimsy-ness of the wall calendar, you could put tape all along the back of it- that way it gives it more structure but you can still write on the front~! it'll make it a tad heavier but at least it won't be as flimsy?
