The bottom rail is the trickiest and most critical layout of this build. The rail snaps into the vertical footings with a spacing that IS NOT specified by the terrible instructions provided in this video. The paper instructions provided with the pool and downloaded from their site are barely legible. My advice is to measure the wall total length with a 100' tape and then the track to calculate the spacing between the bottom rails once snapped into the vertical base plates. If you do this correctly, your patio blocks will be layed out correctly and the wall will roll out to overlap at the ends. If you mess it up, you will have problems with the patio block layout and the wall will not overlap correctly and you will NOT have the ability to "adjust the bottoms rails to make it fit" as this video causally suggests. The wall for our 12' x 20' pool weighed close to 100 lbs. This is not a job for the faint of heart!!

I just disassembled a used pool and am researching how to install it. 16'x30' oval. I am worried but ready to spend a whole week frustrated in order to swim. I am a landscaper so some swimming will be very nice after a long day/week in the sun! Thanks for the info btw, do you have any other tips etc?

@@gradyww1044 Yes. Make sure the ground you are placing the pool on is easy to dig and rock free. Otherwise you may need a good amount of screened loam for backfilling holes left by rock. If you have a lot of stones in your ground, consider laying a foundation of graded base, compacting that, setting your uprights into it and covering up to liner level with screened loam then sand for finish and cove.

I have a 12x20 being delivered and I have a hole dug 2 feet deep. How much room do I need for install? Would one foot on each side be enough?

List of tools looks small at least other than a box of duct tape.

They forgot one of the most important thing. I saw people in and out of the pool. How do you get in and out once you install the walls? I never saw a ladder.
