Yes, I believe that every member holds a strong and sincere relationship with Jesus Christ because He is present during praises, Glory and Angelic singing. Praising God and Jesus does this to Our Souls and we are uplifted. ❤❤❤❤
I have never heard a more Godly choir in my life. This choir is always on another level. If you go to an LDS church meeting you’ll be surprised how good those “Mormons” sing. Love the Tabernacle choir.
Viking you just hit the jackpot I am from Salt Lake City Utah and a tabernacle choir is our Christian church choir we are LDS I am tickled pink that you are congratulating them and appreciate their music because there is nothing like them and Dan vasc
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I appreciate this reaction. The reason you fill the way you do after listening it’s because of the spirit of Christ that’s in the music.
Come to Utah to see and hear them for yourself.. They practice every Thursday in the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Even their practices are great.
Very beautiful and as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I loved watching you feel the Spirit testify to the divinity of Jesus Christ
Angels singing!! It’s like being in Heaven to hear them, ESPECIALLY in person! They are all unpaid! They volunteer their time to sing praises to God. ❤
You MUST hear them live!! Every Sunday they perform for free to the public at 9:00 am. You need to be in your seat by 8:30 am. It’s WORTH the trip to Salt Lake City, Utah! Every time we go there we try and hear them sing on Sunday. It’s like being in Heaven! There is nothing like that experience!
At this level, I would call it a Hymn. It has the reverence and the beauty of a touching hymn. Thanks, this was wonderful!!!! True hymns, to my mind, have a majesty, a dignity, and solemnity, and speak to your soul, and touch the heart. They can leave us in awe of the majesty of our Creator, and the wonder of music's ability to touch our hearts like the most precious things do. Thanks, again.
Wow this version took me straight back to visiting my granny on Christmas morning. Always choir Christmas carols playing. I'm very happy this came up on my feed.
It's always a pleasure to hear and see people sing together in harmony and with a good orchestra. This is a beautiful song and a great rendition by all involved. 🎶
4:55 My exact reaction when the organ interlude begins. It’s so full and mighty. I love it. I’m an organist and also love listening to the organ. I may be slightly biased being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I’ve watched many organ videos of different organs being played and heard many live, but in my opinion the Salt Lake Tabernacle organ and the organ in the church’s Conference Center are by far my favorite organs to listen to. I love how clear and crisp the sound is for both organs. There’s enough acoustics and reverberation in each setting that the sounds don’t meld together making the notes become mushy as some organs do.
One of my favorites from the Tabernacle Choir is the story of “It is Well With My Soul”featuring Hugh Bonneville. ♥️ I have a request for an artist I don’t think I’ve seen you check out before. Stephen McWhirter doing O Holy Night is a great one. 🙂👍🏻
VOCTAVE! An ensemble of exceptional vocalists that perform this. I've heard them live three times singing this particular song. Don't miss them!!!! VOCTAVE
I learned this as Adeste fideles in Latin class in High School. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir does a beautiful rendition of this. When I lived in Salt Lake City, I was there to listen to choir practice several times.
Yes! Our school choirs did both versions. I love them both (and have you seen and heard Dan Vasc sing Adeste Fidelis?). I would have LOVED to be able to go to those choir practices with you!!! As it was, we had a wonderful choir leader, and my mom was involved with all and any concerts, as well, since she had her own dance band, and was a professional violinist. When she was involved, we kids were, too. 😀
This hymn is a favorite of mine because my Dad (a pastor) loved it ❤️ And Viking, you may call the music whatever you want by the way...English is MY 1st/only language, and on a good day I'm never half as articulate as YOU 😆😍 (The music gave me goosebumps & your "holy 💩s" gave me giggles 🤣👏)
I LOVE this choir, this is so beautiful! As a choral person and musician myself, I can tell you there is nothing like singing in a choir of this size and this level of professionalism, it is truly thrilling! Thanks for bringing this one to us! Merry Christmas to one of my favorite reactors! ❤❤❤💚💚💚❤❤❤
I don’t know where you live, but if you enjoy them this much. It is not as wonderful as being there live. I have appreciated the choir, but then I went to conference and they performed. It was even so much more touching in my heart in the conference center being there hearing them live. I was surprised how much better I enjoyed it. Maybe you have a really good stereo system at home (I don’t) and you already get an amazing sound. Loved your video.😊
It was so beautiful. Goosebumps... A musical magic flows through the body. The harmony of the orchestra and the large choir merge into one. Thank you for the moment of enjoyment and for another wonderful reaction to it. Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm already looking forward to a new door.
Peace be unto the believer's the gospel of Jesus Christ of latter day saint's is true! You are feeling the spirit of God through his music 🎶 🎵 and let us all embrace ✨️ the love God has for each one of us! 🙏🏻🙏🏿🙏🏾🙏🙏🏻🙏🏽♥️🎄♥️🎄♥️🎄♥️🎄
You really need to hear the choir and orchestra perform The First Noel. That is another Mack Wilberg arrangement. This one and The First Noel are two of my favorite Christmas carols; not just the carols, but the arrangements for these two hymns.
In the southern U. S. we call them Christmas hymns. Carols are typically not related to the biblical birth of Jesus Christ. Love your commentary and emotion to these wonderful songs.
I know you react to Pentatonix but I can't remember if you ever listened to their version of Oh Come All Ye faithful, it is a must-see and you will never look at the song the same way again
In all honesty, you could dedicate your entire Advent to The Tabernacle Choir...they have so many versions of songs and carol and so may Christmas performances to cover all of it.
Oh there’s so much I want to see them do I could fill the entire advent calendar ;). They are on my bucket list now! I want to see them perform in real life now :)
They are ‘set apart’ (given a special true priesthood of Jesus Christ blessing) individually to be emissaries of Jesus Christ through their music. They live richeous LDS lives. This is why the Holy Spirit is always accompanying their richeous efforts and talents. And that is the powerful undeniable feeling that your soul as a child of God recognizes. The spirit calling you in and home and to truth.
So what is the difference between a carol and a hymn? One is a more regular non religious Christmas song and the other is a Christian Christmas “celebration”?
@VikingReacts You basically got it, Caroling can include hymns and songs associated with holidays. Also you go Caroling, but Hymning just doesnt sound like it would mean what I think it means... 😂
Viking I am glad that the spirit hit you in your heart or you can feel it not only just hear it and we are very religious we don't use the f word but s*** and damn is okay
It is so impressive because every member in the choir and orchestra actually believe and have a testimony of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Yes, I believe that every member holds a strong and sincere relationship with Jesus Christ because He is present during praises, Glory and Angelic singing. Praising God and Jesus does this to Our Souls and we are uplifted. ❤❤❤❤

@@gill1545 It doesn’t have to be that way… God is pulling on your heart Gill.
Doesn’t have to be that way Gill , God is pulling on your Heart.
I’m agnostic and I love Christmas music. 🎶 🙌🏼
I also love the Catholic choir songs I grew up. There’s something so comforting about it ❤
Very beautiful and as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I loved watching you feel the Spirit testify to the divinity of Jesus Christ
I have always had the Tabernacle Choir in my life. Their music touches you in a way that is spiritual. Leaves you with a warm beautiful hug (feeling).
Not a bad thing to have in your life to be honest!
Angels singing!! It’s like being in Heaven to hear them, ESPECIALLY in person! They are all unpaid! They volunteer their time to sing praises to God. ❤
That feeling that you are experiencing is a manifestation of the Holy Ghost, testifying of truth. Christ lives, Merry Christmas!
Amen. Exactly
I don't care who you react to, I turn in (when I can) because it is like sitting down and sharing with a good friend.
That means a lot!
The spirit of God speaks so well through music.
One thing above all else is that, when the MTC sings, it is with the conviction of their faith. I absolutely adore them.
Missionary Training Center (specifically in Provo, Utah among many other MTC locations) for those who aren’t aware of what you refer as there MTC
The MTC's recordings of Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" is absolutely magnificent! ❤️
Pure beauty. He does NOT need to comment. The songs stand alone in pure worship.
Most of these singers start very young! Their youth choirs are amazing! 💕
The feelings that come to surface are only a fraction of what we will all feel when we finally see the Savior and know he is our Redeemer and Savior.

Have you listened to the Hymn "This is the Christ" ?
Stunning!
To le it's a strong testimony of Christ.
Enjoy it!
I feel you, brother. 58 years of speaking english, and I can't find the words. Love it.
The fact that each member of the choir has a strong and abiding testimony of the words and doctrines they sing makes all the difference!
Listening to this was a spiritual experience. Such reverence. Thank you. The true spirit of this season. You weren't the only one with tears.
This arrangement became one of my favorite Christmas hymns last year. The beginning of that third verse gets me every single time!
I truly feel that literal angels from heaven sing with this choir.
I hope you can visit one of their concerts in person one day!
Wow this version took me straight back to visiting my granny on Christmas morning. Always choir Christmas carols playing. I'm very happy this came up on my feed.
Thank you, Viking! Incredibly beautiful!. The most amazing choir on the planet!
I’m a Latter-day Saint and have been listening to our wonderful Tabernacle Choir my whole life, they’re easily the best.
My parents were musicians. I remember telling my dad that good music made me cry….he sweetly told me it made him cry too.
It's always a pleasure to hear and see people sing together in harmony and with a good orchestra. This is a beautiful song and a great rendition by all involved. 🎶
Absolutely angelic - thank you!

For a fun and lively twist on the same song, react to Pentatonix version!!
I did… last year ;)
My sister is in the choir. :)
Simply gorgeous, thank you so much Viking.
Glad you like it!

Burger Bob - Thanks for the goosebumps! I needed to hear this beautiful carol/hymn.

Now imagine the choir of heavenly host singing.

My recommendation is Welsh men's choir. English is also my 3rd language as I'm a Finn.
Sir. The words you are looking for are “The Holy Ghost “.
What is your native languag
Dutch. But German is a close second as I was raised bi-lingual ;)
Say it in your own language, and the translation will come through to each person, by the power of God.
