I have sung this arrangement by Wilberg multiple times. Every time I sing it, I get chills, goosebumps, chicken skin whatever you wanna call it. EVERY…SINGLE…TIME.
These are the Christmas concerts and they are full productions with dancers and guest hosts or soloists. One of my faves was the "Christmas miracle of 1914" WW1. Another was when the beautiful Jane Seymour became the story teller. It's men like you that remind me to never take this for granted as just part of my culture. Remember, the reason this choir exists is to bring mankind closer to our Savior that he may remember us and is able to envelope you in his arms that you will know his love.
My Father Richard W. Robison joined the Tabernacle Choir at age 18 in 1948. He may have been the youngest member in history. He met my mother in the choir in 1957. Their youngest daughter currently sings in the choir. It's a family legacy
And now that I have seen and heard this, my Spirit feels Christmas is near... Thank you Viking, (I am fighting the big black dog at the moment, so this was exactly what I needed this night.)
It was OK when you didn't talk at that one point. It was so beautifully intense and gorgeous! WOW! The whole thing was absolutely stunning! Every year at Christmas 🎄 we have a live nativity with 🐫 and lambs and all the people in the nativity! With a Christmas program and a walk around the Temple! It's beyond Beautiful!❤
I love this carol and arrangement. This is the best arrangement; none other compares, in my opinion. I love the French horns and especially the 3rd verse. Mack Wilberg has a very special gift for arranging and composing hymns. Thanks for watching and commenting on this one.
The Tabernacle Choir isn't just a large number of people singing, it's people confessing that Jesus is the Christ with their Heavenly voices! You can feel the spirit ✨️ of God from this choir ! ❤

I don't want to interfere with your current plans for Advent, but I'll throw this out anyway. Nine years ago, Voiceplay did a version of The First Noel. It is not traditional, by any stretch of the imagination, but it is wonderful. Whether you react to it or not, I think you will enjoy it. Also, I know English is your third language, I'd love to know what the second is, and how many more you have.

From what i learned is that they are not aloud to sing vibrato so that is why they are solid as one.

I attended a tabernacle choir rehearsal and the conductor picked out one guy that was very slightly out of tune with the rest of the choir.
