I wish I had heard this before, instead, the doctor got me on the pill (after getting mad at me when I told her I didn't want to take it and making me sound insane for refusing to do so. I took them reluctantly), ignored the side effects (thrombosis), and as a result, I had a brain hemorrhage. Please try doing everything you can before agreeing to medicate, I think the natural route is the best option.

I get really sad when it comes to PCOS
I have that, and i have done many researches
And due to the researchers i should stop working out too much or exhausting myself
But the thing is that i dance , and i have to practice alot, sometimes i need 10 hours to just learn the basic moves
It's extreme, but i can't let go of it, and i makes me horribly sad to hear
adrenaline increase is such a bad thing and affects my pcos
    Idk what to do :)
I can cut dairy or go gluten free, for the rest of my life
    I literally would do anything
    Whatever it takes ..
    But not quiting dance :)

I feel your pain, I love my workouts too and had to stop because adrenal fatigue meant that I could barely get up off the couch. It crushed my spirits but I had to stop to recover. I feel a bit better physically having taken a break from it. My plan is to slowly work my way up to doing workouts again. Is there any chance you'd be willing to cut back a bit of the dancing? Not completely but take a lot of breaks in between?

It sounds like you dance professionally or on a team. If you do, you may need to scale back how competitive you are in that. But don't stop dancing completely. I was a dancer for years and when I stopped, everything went to sh*t. So, don't stop, just modify your schedule if at all possible.

you dont need to fast, in fact what you might have is your body really struggling with metabolism and burning the right things. I suggest try a week or two of 6 small meals or 2 big meals with really small snacks in between. this helps activate your metabolism to burn the things you need to burn. I suggest learning how to make really good whole food snacks, maybe even having mostly alkaline vegetarian meals during the period you want to try this out. DRINK WATER. your body also confuses thirst for hunger so drink a cup or two when you start to feel you're hungry and wait 20-30 minutes before you eat if you're still hungry. see how that works out for you.

Isn't the whole point of intermittent fasting that when you DO eat, it's to complete satiation, so you actually can't be hungry during the fasting window? I never did extreme intermittent fasting, I just do a regular old 16/8 schedule, which seems to work well.

I found chai tea to be a nice trade off for coffee. The vanilla/cinnamon/allspice flavor tastes good, and you can still put creamer in it.
It's got a little caffeine (30 mg to coffee's 100mg) to jumpstart your day. But it won't mess with you like coffee will. My sleep improved the very first night I made the switch.

    • @erinlikesacornishpasty4703
      @erinlikesacornishpasty4703 Год назад

Don't go all Keto if it's too hard. Try either a whole 30 elimination diet, to see what is actually inflammatory to your body, or try a low carb diet. You can do a gluten free diet that isn't keto. And you can do a dairy free one that's not keto. In fact, I would be challenged trying to do a dairy free keto because half the recommended foods are dairy 🤦‍♀️. Really, try an elimination diet and see what actually triggers inflammation for you.
