My mom bought this machine for me and my SECOND loaf is BAKING NOW! I'm very glad to have found your channel, as you are an excellent teacher and bread baker!♥️God bless you.
Nice to know it’s lasted so well I just ordered one. I had one but didn’t really use it so I gave it to a close friend she loves it. After reviewing some of your videos I decided to get another one and make the recipes you have videos for. So that should get me in the habit of enjoying it. I do like the the idea of knowing what is in your food
Just want to thank you for all your videos. We had bought this same bread machine, then came across your videos. They are very helpful. I’m looking forward to following many of your recipes. I had a welbuilt bread machine, it looked like R2D2 robot from star wars. But I used the first one from the early 90’s then about 98/99 I bought a refurbished one. It still works but it is becoming inconsistent. I’m looking forward to this new machine. Thank you again.
Thanks so much! Hopefully this lasts a long time for you as well. I have had this one for quite a while and made a lot of loaves and so far it’s been holding up great
A small correction...the metal hook that comes with bread machines IS NOT for lifting the pan out, but is actually for removing the paddle from the bottom of your finished bread, cake, or whatever. YOUR WELCOME! 🙂🙂
Ohhh my gosh, i just ordered this last night and didn't realize it had a light. I was wishing it did so thanks for excellent vid, describing all the buttons and functions
I kept it for 4 weeks, made about 6 loaves before returning it. Every loaf was the basic white, 2lb loaf. I returned it only because every loaf came out to damp, doughy and heavy. I followed the recipe to the T according to the recipe in the cuisinart recipe book that came with the machine. I tried different ways of measuring the ingredients using a scale, a kilo tech scale using the grams, next loaf i used the ounces, next loaf I tried using the measuring cup and spoon method, I even bought a OXO kitchen scale and repeated the methods mentioned above. My last loaf was made following the recipe from RobinHood web site, the 2lb then the 1.5lb. The 1.5 loaf was the lightest and the least wet but still to damp. I allowed every loaf cool completely before slicing. I also made one of the by removing the mixing blade at the appropriate time. I could have tried other methods like perhaps baking it in the standard oven but it was 30 days, I had the cbk 110 machine so it was keep it or return that day so I returned it. I was reading reviews that multiple folks said Don't use the recipe book that came with the machine. Others said the pan is way too small, it dosen't have enough room for the dough to expand to the proper size.
ditto. the + and - is NOT baking time. it is a DELAY time. if you want to accomidate for altitudes you need to adjust yeast, not bake time, according to the instruction manual of this device. Listening now as I'm prepping some french bread.
Thanks for this informative review with tips. I just purchased this same bread machine and look forward to more of your videos since I have never baked bread.
All of a sudden the last 3 loaves didn't turn out from my old wonderful Panasonic machine. When should liquid be added, first or the last ingredient? I'm wondering if that was the reason the loaves didn't mix. The paddle didn't move. In any case I'm going to buy this machine today. Great video. I have to limit to baking once every two weeks. :)
do you remove the paddle before it starts to bake? and, when you want to remove the paddle, do you pause the machine first... or does the machine automatically pause waiting for you to remove the paddle and if you don't, the machine would automatically resume after so many minutes?
So when you adjust the time on any of the setting what step in the process of you adjusting? Knead, Rise, Bake?? If I want to adjust the knead time how do I do that?
Kneading paddle isn’t turning in my machine, am I doing something wrong? It’s running, the clock shows Kneading 1, kneading 2, Add-ins and I can feel the heating element is lightly on but the paddle doesn’t move, no noise!
Hello. Do you have issues with doing 2Lb loaves as some people have. It overspills and makes a mess according to one reviewer on Amazon. How do you find it?
Thank you for your videos. I used your cinnamon raisin bread recipe and so far that’s the only bread that the top didn’t fall. When I use their recipes, the top caves in. What could I be doing wrong?
Thanks for sharing this video. Please let me know if you have any videos which have the option to PAUSE the machine ; remove the dough then put it back. When I Pause the machine and put the Dough back afterward ; I press the button Start/ Stop but the machine starts over again. ( for the whole cycle ). I don't know what mistakes I made . 1/ Press the button Start/ Stop in the wrong way ? 2/ Leave the machine in the Pause position more than 10 minutes ? 3/ I didn't see the Flashing light when I Pause the machine. Shout it flash when I Pause it ?? 4/ Can I lift up the lid while the machine is working or I Cannot ? 😮 Hope you could help me to solve these issues. Thanks a lot for your time and your help. 😊
I meant to pause my machine while it was on Knead 3. Rather than pausing it seems I stopped it. Not realizing this, when I pressed start it went back to the beginning; Knead 1. I’d hate to waste the ingredients but I’m thinking this is a ruined loaf; will be over-kneaded?
I just ordered my new machine. Looking forward to getting it today. This is my second machine in 35 years. sharing this information. This is what my machine looks like one quick question do you I have to take the paddles out for it to bake? Hope that makes sense.
The delayed start is actually the Plus and Minus buttons. The plus and minus buttons aren’t for adding more cook time like he explained. It is to tell the machine when you want the entire loaf to be completed. The machine then adjusts the knead/bake time to be done according to the time you want it done (ex 7:00 will be for bread to be done 7 hours from hitting the start button)
@@missymyers7043 Wow, thank u. I just picked this machine up at a Thrift store, so I hope it works. It looked like it was in nice shape, that's why I bought it.
Thanks for your video! i enjoy watching and am actually baking my first loaf now. Once you start the baking process, can you change the crust colors? Or does it need to be done at the beginning? I am trying to change mine to light from dark but it is not changing. thanks!
Thank you my pause didn't work ran through all the cycles after I took out the paddle. Then I thought I could just put it on bake with 12 to only keep waiting maybe in 5 hours if it doesn't Rise allover the sides I will have a decent Loaf thank you Good Video!!!!!!
Unfortunately no. The only thing that might be possible is if you turned it off after all the needing you could turn it back in to the baking setting just make sure you are using the correct amount of time. Hope this helps
I'd love to get one. Where did you buy yours? What is the average price? I usually make round artisan bread with Munster cheese and black olives. Could I make this recipe in this type of machine? I know it wouldn't be round. It's all good tho.
Hi Rich, I got mine at costco but they should be pretty easy to find! Yes you can definitely make a good artisan bread in there (minus the round shape lol) there's a ton of good recipes out there and I have a couple that are somewhat close to get you started. Thanks again for watching
I just bought mine and havent used it yet.. because it says to 'preheat' it. Im so upset because I read this phrase in the manual BUT it does not tell you how or for how long.. who makes a bread maker, sayin you must preheat, and then they say nothin else about it? Please please, somebody help me! I called them but still couldnt find out. Im about ready to send it back..
Thanks so much for asking I completely forgot to include that. After you put in the ingredients and select the program number and crust and loaf size you then press the + button to add time which means it will delay the start by that amount of time. So if you press the + button and add two hours it will delay the start for 2 hours. You can delay it for up to 13 hours. Once you add the time to delay the start press the start button and it will start a countdown to start the process.
On amazon it sells both the CBK-110C and CBK-110 and their price is different. Do you know why that is? Great video! I'm going subscribe to your channel and make some bread! :)
Maybe you could give me your address and we could trade our Cuisinart machines? My has been an utter failure. I have followed the directions EXACTLY three times and every time I get a brick. What a waste of money! I had a Gold Star for over 20 years and it made perfect bread, every time. I have seen similar reports on You Tube. Anybody else have trouble with their Cuisinart?

Plus & minus is for when using time delay to advance the time, like when you want to have the bread finished for the morning.
Thanks, @RobP!
ditto. the + and - is NOT baking time. it is a DELAY time. if you want to accomidate for altitudes you need to adjust yeast, not bake time, according to the instruction manual of this device. Listening now as I'm prepping some french bread.
essentially + and - is a "done by" time

I just purchase this machine. Can you make keto or low carb bread in this machine? Also can I use milk instead of milk powder. thank you. great video.
Your videos are helpful , the only problem with this machine is if your kitchen or Home is cold the bread gets flat, the doug doesn’t grow well.
Your definitely right about that, it does help to be warmer to get better results. Thanks so much for watching

On the french bread would it make a difference if you add 10 more minutes to brown the crust more.
I think the 13:00 setting for delay starting.. want learn how to use the dealy start🙈

This is a really good instruction video

I had to stop mine cuz I forgot to add the water! How do I clear it so I can start it over?
My color button doesn't seem to work. I am guessing I am using it in the wrong way. Any suggestions?
you have the color settings backwards, filled in is light (white) then empty is dark.
If you accidently turn it off during a cycle is there a way to get to back to that point without going through the entire cycle?
Unfortunately no. The only thing that might be possible is if you turned it off after all the needing you could turn it back in to the baking setting just make sure you are using the correct amount of time. Hope this helps
