Guarav: "I mean, I can just kill you this turn."
Murph: "I don't think you can. Feel free to attack me if you would like."
Damn, Murph has some balls in the face of an indestructable army of literal gods.
and he seems to have been bluffing, or he wouldn't have died to Jimmy "that easily" (i.e. without being able to do anything). So yeah, well played there :D
Lol it was a complete bluff lol, he had nothing 🤣🤣🤣 I'd just say well swing at you let's get that card out your hand 👌
@@fl4tgamer639 Yeah. Whenever someone says "go ahead and attack me", I instantly do it. If they have something in their hand that can stop my army, I'd rather get it out of their hand now rather than sit back, do nothing, let them build up a board even bigger, and still have that answer. I have won so many games because someone was acting cocky and was just bluffing.
I love watching you guys play personal decks!
One minor thing I suggest: maybe including a turn tracker somewhere in the overlay, perhaps at the top or bottom in between the player names? It would definitely help visualize how long these games actually are.
Yes! A turn tracker would be great!!
Just look at the dimir player who didn't miss his land drop to tell the turns.
It couldnt have been long if he’s swinging out with dragons and additional combats
Mitch does that on his videos.
they do have a turn tracker if you look at their names its highlighted
Craig: *loses*.
Mana crypt prices: *go down to 0*.
Price goes to 0
Everyone puts a lot in their deck
Even more Mana Crypts in play
More people die to Mana Crypt
Price goes into negatives
@@chancellorpalprotein2886 this is why sol ring is all you need
Oh no!!! I just bought one. Lol
But it already cost zero... :P
@@Dark-Pikachu1 Agreed, I've gotten 2 and I just sold them right away.
Really cool to see Intet and Rhys again!
the ETs with homebrews are always a blast.
But we didn't really see either of them. Craig got stomped out without really doing anything, and Jimmy only cast Intet after he won the game.
Josh: "Let's be honest. We've all died to our own Mana Crypts before"
Yeah, I definitely own magic cards that are that expensive :) Brb, gonna buy a playset of Gaea's Cradles real quick
So relatable
Remember, proxies are your friend
Lol 😆 yup I got proxy cradle
Commander is a fun format, proxies don't hurt. And much obliged with all the jerkiness of WotC trying to milk the format for cash
FedEx will print you a sheet of 9 beautiful Cradles for about $1.50.
Craig's hubris finally comes back to bite him, he lost to not only his own mana crypt, but also arguably his own coat arms. This was the most Craig game ever, and I love it
Should've sacrifice it to Bolas but I guess he just missed it
Hoist by his own petard.
The most Craig death possible is if someone would've given his mana crypt infect but this was pretty close 😆
To be fair, any time I see a very short game with Craig in it, I always assume the worst.
Still the same, but the choice of target was unexpected.
@@scottmacadams9129 none of his creatures were power 4 or greater at the time he cast shamanic, shamanic only gives life for each creature power 4 or greater
Gaurav's deck was so cool looking. Loved seeing the gods deck and alternate arts.
“We all’ve been losing to our own crypt”
Not if you don’t own one ☝🏻
Haha ha…ha…ha…*starts crying*
Sol ring is better in my opinion don’t get points of mana crypt
Yes! Screw mana crypt! Good for those who own one!!
*sits beside the crying guy*
*cries too*
@@meownezz they're unnecessary and overrated in commander.
@@jamesmoore1317 they are not overrated at all. I think you mean you don't have one, so to cope with that you have to call one of the best cards in the format overrated. What you should say is you don't need one to play commander because that is true
@@spudster8887 Nope, sorry friend. I had 2, one from mystery boosters and a box topper from double masters. Sold them both. Selling an ancient tomb I just got from the list too. I did specifically say for commander in another comment, don't copy-paste responses, sorry. and I only play commander and this is a commander channel so from my perspective it is completely overrated. Aren't you glad you took time out of your day to achieve nothing now? At least I was trying to help people bummed about not having an insanely expensive card feel a little better. You're just making assumptions and being a dick.
Josh: "We've all been there."
Me, who doesn't run $100+ cards in any of my decks: "Speak for yourself."
Just copy it... XD.
You're so cool
We'll, not with mana vault because $$$, but I have with bolas's citadel. Same feel. I think that's what he meant (I thought the same when he said it too ☹️ though).
25:05 dang look at murph dripping in confidence with the absolute power move there haha arm up and everything
Well it worked, whether he had the answer or not, he sidestepped the attack.
Gaurav: "Well this is my plan!"
"Murph save me"
lmfao XD we all been there.
Murph all I can do is get rid of one thing.
One turn after he’s like Murph I could kill you right now.
I like how Murph's decklist has an entirely different mana base lol
wym?
@@xxilemoon1768 they post the deck lists in the description, but he’s playing multiple lands that aren’t on that list.
@@hanzo138 maybe they updated the list but all lands we see are on it.
Murphy's deck list is also 1-2,000$ cheaper than the rest
"Elves are always doing insane shit and presenting serious damage by turn 3 or 4"
>The elves deck in this episode 🐢🐢🐢🐢
Slowest elf deck I think I've seen in quite sometime. My buddy in my main play group has a mono green Ezuri, Renegade Leader build that can damn near have lethal on board by t4. A simple wrath kinda stops him in his tracks most the time but yeah Craig's was moving at turtle pace it seemed like
But he wasnt playing elves he was playing tokens... just as bad.
@@donovanloreman Even if you were JUST playing a token strategy, it still has to do more than this this deck did, at least in the early game....and with better synergies. Ugh, it felt so incredibly unoptimized, and I'm not even talking about shoving in incredibly broken cards.
Yes! More Extra Turns is always exciting! Thank you so much all! Editors you rock!
Game kicks off at 3:32 for anyone who wants to skip the pageantry. And game resumes after break at 16:30 if you don't care for the skit show.
Such timestamps are needed more and more every time...
@@PrimeEnLightenedShadow yeah honestly if they add about 2 more minutes of ads to their content then it's gonna be a shitty comedy routine for ads with edh as the filler.
Ads pay them to do it, not hard to skip over. Thanks for sharing time stamps!
Even though i respect the brew's around each sets new commanders, the episodes where you guys just play something from you personal collection are my favourite! Keep it up!
Wow Jimmy’s Deck does great when he’s
1) Not playing against Melissa DeTora
2) Not Killing himself with Furnace of Rath
When he doesn't miss land drops
When he doesn't play against josh and rhysitic study
Eyy glad to see Jimmy’s Inter deck make another appearance!
Wanted to see more gameplay from this deck. Temur is my favorite color combo.
Yeah and it's nice to see that deck pop off so much, since last time Melissa's Karametra deck kinda just swept everyone
“Here’s my plan, Murph save me” 😂😂😂
When Jimmy says "making me a 5/5 dragon", he really means it.
Love Murph introducing himself with the Scott the Woz Intro!
He'd better not go browsing for Mana Crypts cause with an into like that he might realize he was leaning on the "Buy Mana Crypt" key the whole time...
G: “I need time to get my Gods online.”
C: “Coat of Arms?”
G: “Crap…..”
rooting for jimmy, intet was the first deck i ever built
Way he built it was lame we’re extra turns and extra combat spells
Same, just temur good stuff, made me fall in love with edh for 10 years
Same. First deck I built was Intet led temur dragons. Still play it today. Super fun.
I think it makes for a much more interesting game when you guys play with your personal decks 😊 wow those were some swole elves!!
I have never died to my own Mana Crypt... because I don't have one. :')
Jimmy doing his best Brian Kibler impression. All hail the dragon master’s doppelgänger. 😂
Love the games with higher powered home brew stuff. It’s the essence of why most of us started playing commander and is really enjoyable to watch
I love Craig lol. "Or I'll use a crafterhoof or triumph of the hordes I don't care" lol my kind of player right there
LOL, that last message form Josh: "We've all been there, dying from your own crypt" Man! I am not a millionaire! I can't pay for that card!
18:26 NO JIMMY! you forgot to move lightning greaves to keep your dragon safe!
Jimmy: “idk if he’s lying or not”
Jimmy’s mind: “he’s definitely lying”
Yavimaya Hollow, one of the best and most underappreciated lands in Magic: The Gathering.
Watching this while putting together my new eldrazi deck. The titans have arrived!
This is Intet's return since the Professor's debut on GameKnights, isn't it?
Yessir
Yeah and it's nice to see that deck pop off so much, since last time Melissa's Karametra deck kinda just swept everyone
Great to see some old school commanders, as well as Jimmy and Craig (miss ya Josh as well!) !
Josh: "the highlight of the game was Craig dying to his Mana Crypt. let's be honest, we've all been there before"
*me over here, being unable to afford a single Mana Crypt*: ha ha yeeea ... who amongst us can't relate ...
Craig probably should have exiled his mana crypt to Nicol Bolas's ability.
The greed
Big brain play for sure that would have been very heads up
Lol, Craig dying to his own mama crypt has got to be one of the funniest things ever.
I’m confused of the coat of arms coming out before Craig having a board
Haven't finished yet, but big props to the editors for nabbing the specific printings of cards used in the game. example: Anguished Unmaking
Wow that Is the longest ad segment I have ever seen in a RUclips video, what a time to be alive
That mana crypt die roll at 25:52 looked real wonky 🧐
All I ever wanted in one big game: army of gods, horde of huge dragons, eldrazi-elves and... oh right there is a flash deck too, it's just hard to notice him when everyone swing for 100 damage each combat but a really cool idea overall. It's a little sad that he didn't get to do much in this game and I honestly didn't realize his commander was out until it triggered a moment before the end, but beside this it was a great game, loved it, huge battlefield, and the best part was the ending where someone died to his own ramp and someone that casted his commander after he wins just because he can.
For once, I actually enjoyed the little jokes at the beginning where you all say some version of "let's play".
Excellent job flying solo on hosting this one Josh. The game was a good one.
Jimmy winning with a Dragon tribal deck.
Me: *Manly tears of joy*
Intet and Rhys?! The return of some of the first game knights decks! Love it
I don't know why seeing a dragon deck win makes me so happy. But this defiantly made my day.
Mana Crypt: "I may not be alive, but I want my owner dead"
Seeing one of my favorite decks get played on Extra Turns made my day so much better! I’m rooting for Rhys
Craig: “You can’t fire me, I quit” 😂
Haha love the comment “we all been there, we all died to our own mana crypt” 😂 because we all can afford $90 cards lol still epic game, as always I love your content command zone
its 160$+ lol
i wish it was only 90
I'm so happy when Jimmy wins, I like all of his decks
Damn, spoiler alert much? Jerk
@@alexkluck4959 Don't read the comments on the video if you don't wanna be spoiled...
Man, I love Jimmy's laugh 😂 21:07
that dice roll was wild. It landed on 2, and then bounced and landed exactly on 2 again. It was fate that craig dies there
The fact that Craig shouted "Everybody's got forests!" is kind of amusing.
I literally check RUclips every day to see if there’s a new game knights or command zone episode so this is awesome
The notification bell is your best friend!
ayy Jimmy bringing back the deck from that one super old episode with Melissa and The Professor
Didn't know where to put this, but are you guy's doing a crimson Voe vs midnight hunt precon decks face off, I think that would be interesting! Loving the show, and the new staff seem to bring a lot of good energy with them, keep up all of the good work that you're all doing! Much respect from the uk! JAY.
I was today years old when I learned that Coat of Arms is for everyone... huh
Yeaaaaaaa OG commanders against new ones. Really love seeing old commanders with new power creep cards. Shows how much power we would have back then if we printed certain cards too soon
I just love Craig. Such a good player and so rp during the games. Very lucky guys you have him on your team.
It seems like Everytime Craig plays he is public enemy #1 hahaha always rooting for you man keep the infect coming
Honestly that Mana Crypt Damage was fitting for Jimmy the "I need the luck of the roll" "Hermit Druid dont fail me now" Burnmaster to pick there lmao
I love that Craig has a poison counter ring
Writing this before I watch an episode. Jimmy is going up with huge mana-hungry dragons; also, he is prone to get manascrewed (overall). I’m having a bad feeling.
Edit: actually, a reverse sweep.
Jimmy hasn’t ever used intets ability on this channel but he’s played it twice. Very cool
He schould have exiled that Mana Crypt with the Nicol Bolas ability
Hell yes! As soon as I got Esika I made "Oops, All Gods!". Super excited to see Gaurav's take!
Every time Craig comes on the show, he should say the Phyrexian slogan “all will become one” lol
My esika deck is basically also just Oops all gods. Glad to see im not the only one.
Gaurav's deck is so blinged out, it's wild, nearly every card was an alt-art or promo card or secret lair and I bet foil too but I can't tell with the lighting.
YES GOD TRIBAL! I made my own version of it using the prismatic bridge as well!
Best part of playing Rhys is always having a turn 1 play. Feels good every time.
Ah, good old Coat of Arms. Card that never ever played in my favor. Either there's someone at the table who can flood the board faster than I do (maybe because they don't waste time playing expensive artifact) or when I'm ahead it gets removed once I declare attackers :D Or it just sits at my hand because I see that playing that would just kill me... I've cut the card from my decks, since I don't like being beaten to death by 20/20 dragons or whatver the opponent has.
I had an intet dragon tribal deck! It was a lot of fun but I ended up switching intet with riku and really running with the copy big dragons theme. It's great when you have a couple of copy enchantments and riku to get 4 dragons for the price of one plus riku. Glad to see the deck do so well!
Oof I as wondering when Craig would exile his Mana crypt to Nicol Bolas, but the other outcome was hilarious!
Craig’s fate in this one just reinforced my belief that life should not be used as a resource
Craig plays Coat of Arms...
Jimmy: "The dragons thank you!"
I play a dragon deck with Intet in it, and also have a prismatic bridge deck as well so was fun seeing these going.
Minor comments at the top, big at the bottom.
* I think you overpayed for your Great Henge, Jimmy :)
* I don't think it's accurate to call Gaurav's deck "Oops, all Gods!" considering there are plenty of non-God spells in the deck (or more narrowly, non-God creatures).
Anyhoo, this episode was just lovely, and it really captured the feeling of a group of friends getting together to hang out over a game. THIS was fun. THIS was what Commander's about.
It is all about Golgari elves, Abomination of Llanowar. No one suspects the Abomination of Llanowar LOL
I remember playing a game in my CEDH group buddies Mana Cryt did over 20 damage to themselves :P
Did......did Murph make a Scott the Woz joke at the beginning?
love how you can see every single players turn on their board! and cards being shown on the side of the screen! keep it up ^_^
Murph!! I have a Nymris flash deck with those sleeves too! By far my favorite deck.
Man all those instants played at sorcery speed...it hurts
I don't understand anything bout magic...but I do love to watch and love the show
Got to meet Murph in Vegas! Great game here everyone!
Inter was one of my favorite commander decks I ever had! Makes me want to build it again. Mine was pretty different though. I had a lot of top of library manipulation and worked on taking extra turns with Intet.
I love that they use the Typo Monarch Token
I like Gaurav's plan it seemed solid.
My Man Gaurav bought all the secret lairs
Man, I didn't know this episode was coming out 2day? Best B-day ever!
woooh! Jimmy's Intet deck is back!
Yaaay Jimmy won!
Awesome to see him take the game after so many others that he had gotten close, but flew too close to the sun.
Oh man I wonder if Craig considered exiling the Mana Crypt to Bolas.
I wonder how many people realised Coat of Arms is symmetrical because of this episode.
I knew pre-episode, but it bit me when I first played it. I was playing slivers vs elves, and the elfball just rolled over me. On the plus side I learned how to play against elves after that.
I was literally just watching the old episode with jimmy on Intet!!
Where is Joe's wholesome land destruction deck when it is needed.
I am so glad *SUN TITAN!* is back.
