2 Styles of Animation comparison for the Bill & Patrice Video

I had made all my videos using lines to separate the object and body parts but it seems the video maybe a bit better with no lines, let me know what you think ?

My art teachers would say 2 because the outlines aren't realistic. But I don't think it's supposed to be realistic because it's a cartoon, so I think 1 is better. It's a cartoonish style of animation used by TV shows I liked when I was a kid.

I've always preferred number 2. I skipped a few videos with the number 1. The number 2 looks natural, while number 1 has unnatural dark lines making it look like a drawing, not an animation. For example, the lines on Bill's face ruin his red beard. My vote: number 2 for natural and less "poor cartoonish" look.

PS: I see a lot of comments saying they go with number 1 because others already choose number 1. Talk about why Democracy is not a good system of government. Look up the _Asch conformity experiment._ That's exactly what this comment section has become. It didn't work on me, but let's see if it works on you. 😅

I was going to say 2, but between 1:02-1:04 it doesn’t look like he has any wrinkles on the forehead. And everyone else says 1, so yeah 1.

Well i draw animatics in my channel based on the bits and improvs of comedians and other crazy stuff, I write script, design characters, storyboard, direct, edit videos i think Im some kind of animator XD

Yes, i guess Im an animator, still never work professionally, but that's what people associate me with in my channel, (even thou i refer to myself as a Story-Board Artist, the "Animatics" before the full produced and rendered animation)
I have a college/ bachelors degree in Fine Arts and a degree in scriptwriting/ Tv production Fiction
my Arts degree didn't had an specific professionally dedicated to Just Pre-production and Story boarding / Animatics/ story telling CAREER PIPELINE . Just a few courses/subjects in Animation Production.
So the last years after college ive been Self Taught, you know YT, Tutorials, Courses, Dissecting Films and Scripts for myself while i searched for day jobs...
but neither my country or family had a good economy or mental health to create an environment were my skills were useful
So Depression came in, then Family Tragedy, then Covid, then Locked Down with bad family members, more mental health issues, more personal stuff, no jobs, loneliness, sociopathy...
So one day as any, with zero motivation on what to draw, because no idea i had engaged me, I just started drawing comedy bits i loved from comedians i liked i just wanted to see the word realized on screen so i draw the bit, it become the most viewed thing on the channel
So my Portfolio on Storyboards became my RUclips Channel Brand Persona whatever, on (YT, IG, Tw, Linkdn .. whatever mostly i care about yT )
Im better now, but my country still is ruined, so my efforts are more into producing content on YT than searching for job applications or freelance work even,
I just try to do what makes me happy and laugh... no expectations NEVER, it would be fine if i could live from this, i live a humble existence, low maintenance, stoic life
if i could produce some unique content that just helps me pay the bills ill be happy, I dont expect to become wealthy just keep the light on,
Sadly my countryman dont really care about my subject or any other so my personal relationships that matter are experienced trough YT comments,
HOPE you have more luck and health than me
Bill Burr has this bit from years ago, that goes like, "I maybe a psycho... but Im a functional psycho"
