Remember that panel when Geoff said he missed the days when it was just a group of friends playing Halo in someone's basement laughing and having a good time
And then everyone laughed because they thought he was joking
He didn't laugh, just looked at the floor, defeated
Out of all of them, I feel bad for Geoff the most.
Anyone have a link to this? RUclips hates actual links in comments so just post v= then the rest of the video url or w/e
Ok Freud
Geoff is a good actor and comedian who is also unfortunately a huge loser, who can't help himself. Once the first fires started at the company, he could've easily split-off into his own projects with a small team from the old crew--instead he stuck through every single controversy like his life depended on it, and sank with the ship.
He has a podcast now--cool, good for him. I hope he sticks to being funny on the internet, instead of crying for the sake of companies that serially abuse their employees.
@@TheMightyNovacin his one defense what exactly was he going to do when he split off and who was he going to take Ray and Ryan?
The success of Red vs. Blue was absolutely symbiotically linked to the success of the Halo IP as a whole, so it obviously makes sense that when the main IP went through its downward spiral, it dragged everything else associated with it. The initial lore for RvB from the very first season, before any retcons or changes, used the Halo CE story itself as its backdrop just to set the stage for why all these things were occurring. Grif directly referenced Master Chief blowing up the Covenant armada at the first Halo ring.
Not to mention the whole point of Wyoming and Tex teaming up to kidnap Tucker's kid in season 5 was their way of stopping the Covenant. If Reconstruction takes place just after the war, then season 5 definitely takes place during Halo 2/3 when Earth was being actively invaded, which is pretty important context for why they're teaming up to use Tucker's kid as a way to dismantle the Covenant from the inside. That's something you wouldn't understand at all if you haven't played the games.
That is a really bad take. The writing of RvB completely diverged after season 1. It had nothing to do with halo and was loved by my friends who had never heard of halo.
@@thoughtsuponatime847 That's bullshit lol, season 6 is straight up called "Reconstruction," as in, the reconstruction after a major disaster. Just like the US' Civil War reconstruction. Plus Wash explains to Church in that season the entire reason Project Freelancer even existed was to basically find cheaper super-soldiers to win the war with the Covenant. The Freelancers pairing with AI, that was all experimentation that would directly lead into the Master Chief and Cortana finally pairing together in the games. Not to mention the Meta, which is taken directly from the 4th stage of Rampancy, Metastability. Which, as the counselor explains in season 10, is when an AI achieves the state of becoming an actual person. The entire reason the Director had to torture the Alpha/Church was because of they couldn't copy an AI since Church was basically a clone of the Director's brain. That is all Halo lore.
@@thoughtsuponatime847 It was absolutely linked to Halo until at least season 13. Things like the UNSC and other concepts from Halo are brought up constantly.
@@thoughtsuponatime847bro Griff's first lines is saying Master Chief blown up the entire covenant fleet.
RT was something I was obsessed with for years watching everything they ever made. Around the time Ray left, I slowly started moving away from them and in the last five years the only content they made I was still watching were RTAAs since they were quick.
Good memories, but RT had a slow tumble down the mountain
It's interesting to read about other peoples' experiences. I watched parts of Bloog Gulch, but never knew there was more to RT or a whole community. Cool
@@AB0BA_69Really?
@@Rebelnutt yeah. I was ever interested in halo because it was for "console kids" and I was a "cool" pc gamer. I actually played through CE on PC and found it pretty dull, especially the level where flood are introduced. Just a giant, receptive slog with a weak-sounding shotgun. I like some of the commercials around the franchise like the live action "finish the fight stuff shot for release of Halo 3, but the single player games seemed weak. I didn't care much about multiplayer with its autoaim because I was into Quake 3 and Counter Strike instead.
Ah just wasn’t the same without Ray.
Nice to see you here Nobody.
As if some last fuck you, as rooster teeth shut down theh privated the remastered RvB full series on RUclips.
That was probably mandated by their corporate overlords; hell, look at the recent Game Informer shutdown, or the shutdown of the MTV News website. Literal decades worth of content, completely purged from the archives of the internet just because of corporate whims. It's absolutely disgusting to see.
Fortunately, certain other internet archives backed up some of that content...
@@KevChaos86 it's unfortunate the way it goes. I believe RT privated alot of their stuff to facilitate website visits and subscriptions. By the point they were begging for people to use their website I knew they were getting shut down soon.
I remember noticing that whenever Bernie wasn't the writer, the shows were kinda crap. I suspect he carried the company.
Have a great weekend, everyone
Always a delight to see your videos, Andy. Couldn't have picked a better topic, too. Cheers.
I am when you're uploadin bub, lol
You too
This and a gamedungeon in the same week. Truly a blessing
So far, it has been. I hope you and yours have a great one, too.
The Know was mad at Kingdom Come Deliverance for the crime of being historically accurate
The classic warthog song is such a fucking deep cut

Chupathingy, how about that?
I remember coming across Red vs Blue back in 2005, when they were interviewed by Bungie on the Halo 2 collector's edition behind the scenes disk. Looked it up on old RUclips and loved it, along with their live action skits and spin off series such as stranger hood. I think it was around the Halo 3 era I stopped caring about it, and by extension Rooster Teeth as a whole by 2012.
It really is jaring to see what they've become, then going back and watching that interview and seeing a bunch of nerds having fun with mics and Halo CE at their houses. The internet really was a different beast back then.
Man when I was a teenager, rooster teeth was the shit. I miss those days.
The Return of The King
Rest In Power Red vs. Blue - Nostalgia (for simpler times)
I remember obsessing over RvB so much I tried to start my own Machinima, with my friends, in middle school. That ship never sailed lol
I lost interest in RvB when they started leaning too heavily on the CGI. To me, it felt like they'd lost themselves trying to be something they weren't. I didn't even pay attention to the other stuff.
I'm in agreement. When the warthog burst through the concrete wall, I wasn't cheering but more annoyed since it was them losing what made the show what it was. Them using CGI as a crutch for everything wasn't what I was there for.
I really enjoyed this video! Listened to it while at work.
I'm really really glad to hear you enjoy CRASH!
THERE he is. Knew you'd turn up at some point.
@@theholygamer969 heyo!

Genlock and RWBY must have been losing huge amounts of money for them over time
It was. I remember rwby fans throwing a fit that their merch was showing up at dollar stores since no was buying it for full price
It wasn't just different dialogue for each difficulty it was different characters like Doc, Griff, Simmons and Bernie who was just playing himself not church.
I like how RVB is segmented between Blood Gulch, Project Freelancer, and the Chorus trilogy. You could ignore Freelancer AND Chorus as canon and just go with Blood Gulch if you wanted, or keep Freelancer and ignore Chorus.
Ultimately, if we never got the Forge system, we wouldn't have this Machinima, and by extension, we wouldn't have B00mrang's Crash, which is already GOATed.
One of the main problems of The Chourus Ark was the plan to wipe out the entire planet there had to be a better way than hiring Merck's to slowly kill the entire population.
Both Felix and locus didn't really do anything and they most likely would have never even gone along with that even if the pay was good enough.
What about preforge rvb? Thats what i recall the most
Crash? That sounds awfully familiar... (glad you enjoy the show :])
Whenever i see anything Halo related i just feel sad by the fact that those 343 losers are still in charge of the IP
The idea of the multiple backgrounds and povs while you're talking is fantastic. I love it and I know the effort and time it goes behind something like that, so I do appreciate it even more.
Hearing Andy talk about Red Vs Blue makes me remember what Netflix did to Trailer Park Boys
What happened with TPB? I remember finishing the show on netflix and heard about some animated prison show but never bothered watcbing it. Something to do with that?
@@panzershreck8077 It basically all went downhill once they started making new seasons for Netflix. Like, Ricky starting a smoke shop while meeting Snoop Dog will never not be the lamest shit ever. Not to mention all the terrible movies too, "Let's theme this one around Bubbles wanting to be an astronaut!" It was at its best before the jump to HD and higher budgets.
@nagger8216 That I can def agree on. I still enjoyed the last few seasons for what they were. I watched and finished tpb for the first time ever last year and absolutely loved the show. But I noticed the lack of uhh.... idk how to put this "soul"? When the camera quality looked like they were recording an episode of the office. I loved the campy bootleg camera recording of a bunch of trailer trash in the earlier seasons. The characters and setting just felt completely authentic.
1:13:25 LOL, 'I'm so degusted with the community of Xbox Bros that we cultivated, how can you say these terrible things to me, even thou I have said way worse trash talk over Modern Warfare.' Absolute joke.
Wow, new Caboose sounds like he belongs on Channel Awesome.
Not enough RWBY slander. Defintely agree with everything said though, cool to see the perspectives of you old internet heads. Like listening to the stories of a wisened elder who saw civilisations rise and fall. Was born during the peak, right before Halo 3 came around, so I couldn't enjoy it from the crib. Though these accounts like yours make me wish I was born at least a decade earlier.
Myess, I feel your pain zoom-bro. I feel your pain...
This is a sweet 92 minutes but listening to this is like being at a funeral for a drug addict, i need something more positive, i want to hear Two Guys Talk About some good shit like Code Monkeys
17:02 Cuts to Barbara. Very sad and very true
I loved RWBY when it came out, and despite my deep nostalgia for the series, the first three seasons were definitely not as good as people remember. It was cool music and fight scenes with lukewarm story to connect them. It was mostly a case of having a lot of promise to eventually become good with the characters and setting people took interest in. But when S3 destroys the setting, kills two big secondary characters, and scatters the main cast, any promise the series had was gone. I really hope it gets a more thoughtful reboot if VIZ media does anything with it after their purchase when RT shut down.
Seasons 1-3 are still good imho.
The dialogue is pretty good and the fight scenes were great.
Story is important but good characters help make the story. And the characters were pretty good.
the closest thing we have to rooster teeth now is probably glitch productions, which started off as mario 64 machinima channel and eventually produced stuff like digital circus
I mean it's not good but it isn't exactly cynical
If Digital Circus is their RWBY, then maybe their Sm64 vids were bangers just like RvB. Though I do consider RvB to be the best series I've seen on RUclips with a continual storyline alongside Alan Becker's Animator vs Animation series and its spinoffs
its good. shush
it’s mediocre😅
@@LukSter18998 it maybe is mediocre, but it serve as a replacement of a niche that RT has left for the time being. At least we hope GLITCH continues to fund more projects and not implode like RT did in the coming decades.
Why is RT trying to scrub some pf their old shows? Are they embarrassed by their old jokes not being PC?
If you mean on yt? They wanted visits to their site and subscriptions, now you can just find people re-uploading it tho lmao
Man, I remember finding RvB when they wrapped up Season 8, was so hyped when the trailer for Season 9 dropped. Crazy how much time has passed. Haven't watched anything of theirs in years, really only kept an eye on what was happening with RWBY and RvB. The dream was to work for them, but now it's a lesson on what not to do. Pouring one out for them, probably would clash with some of them if I ever met them, but I wish them well.
RT sucks so much forcing people to pay to watch RVB
Well, this is the Internet after all, somebody has to have Archived all this content somewhere...
@@KevChaos86 People have already uploaded most of the seasons in hour long compilations, but it's not the same as just having those original videos in HD. Now we have to hope Randy uploader doesn't fuck up the video quality into 480p.
I remember being a kid and watching the red vs blue clips through bing video since my parents banned RUclips on our family PC crazy to think they finally ended
This is the first time I watched a RvB fan talk from people who didn't really like most of seasons 6-13. Lol
Rooster Teeth will remain a special place for me. Not just RVB but a lot of there other projects.
The prequel Freelancer stuff had amazing music though.
this show is one of my favorites "not podcast" podcast. next to netlore.
Arby n chief was the shit LMFAO I fucking miss the old Halo days
Crash was such a refreshing series to appear, happy to see a fun, and funny machinima again.
I think it being in Halo 3 helps it as well, I'm a reach enjoyer but it doesn't "look good" for a Machinima if that makes sense. It might just be nostalgia and the disdain for S9 tho.
Chorus trilogy may be ugly as sin, but at least Felix is a great villain to take inspiration from.
The twist was done in such a lame way though, you can absolutely tell they weren't planning that out when they were making season 11.
@nagger8216 I think I need some context here. I thought they HAD planned it out.
Not really the entire plan was completely unhinged the head guy could have worked for both sides and just slowly moved on the ruins.
Why even get involve with the war of you want to unlock the tech there just move in or bribe them. "Oh yea massive genocide themselves"?
@@theholygamer969 Nah, I distinctly remember in season 11 the first time Felix saw Locus he said "Oh no..." Even though there was no one else around and no reason to keep up the charade. Then they recontextualized it so Locus was on the radio talking to Felix about how Control wanted the Reds and Blues alive, and his response to that was "Oh no..." I like the twist, but it could've been handled better in season 11.
That entire plan to genocide the planet was pretty dumb.
This was wonderful. A nice blast to the past. God, that was so long ago.
I'm looking forward to hearing that there rebooting Halo with RWBY writers. If you want to make Halo worst add RWBY to it. Andys worst day ever
Okay, I'm not through the whole video yet, but I can't find anything about a halo reboot let alone one involving the RWBY writers. Where was this mentioned?
I was in a shitty headspace during... all the years of Rooster Teeth. I missed Red v Blue, RWBY, Genlock, the whole shebang.
So, like with your Halo series multiplayer anecdotes, this is a time machine into a special corner of the Internet.
I got into Rooster Teeth when RvB Season 7 came out, roughly when I got into Halo when ODST came out, and got so much into it that I watch Seasons 1-8 on repeat during my lunch breaks in high school and bought merch like shirts, posters and DVD sets. When RWBY came out, I was starting to really get into anime in college so I ate that up to. It was soon after RvB Season 15 and RWBY Volume 5 were finished that I stopped watching both shows and Rooster Teeth in general. Years after I would poke in occasionally and not recognize a majority of the staff and didn't like what they were putting out. Then all of the stuff with the company drama and allegations came out and stopped all together. When it was announced they were closing down, I knew it was time but they played a part of my life and am glad I got to enjoy it.
The Internet will always have a place for independent content. It’s changed, we’ve gone from groups doing curated videos to vtuber livestreamers as some of the most popular content.
Everyone has their little niche, you just have to find it.
Don't fucking compare Gen:Lock to RWBY. It's a Berserk 2017 western cartoon.
to me the funniest thing about the downfall of roosterteeth is the yogscast. yogscast where basically the British equivalent of RT, yogscast also made a super popular series using a video game that the dev company tried to help with (although yogscast did alot to insult mojang). but yogscast decided to make a deal with RT to try gain some new followers after years of stagnation. they got their videos on RT website, then RT shutdown. thats funny to me, another company tried to save itself so pair up with another company in its own crash and burn
40:08 no need to apologize, it’s what we’re here for.
Season 6 was my jumping on point aswell and I must say watching it again... ITS A SUPER UNDERRATED jumping on point. It was pure brilliance to focus on Washington as the sorta Feux-tagonist, you get this fish out of water perspective that just naturally integrates you into the Red vs Blue character dynamics gradually with every episode, really grounds you in the narrative with someone who is just as confused as to whats going on as you are. Honestly I think it might even be a better start point then season 1, atleast in terms of gauging your long term investment with the series. The Blood Gulch Chronicles is alot of fun, but its also very rough, and alot of the jokes have not aged... _the best..._ definetly alot of wincers.
But I think if you watch season 6 and are genuinely enthralled by the characters then you shouldnt have any trouble going through what is essentially the origin story of the Sim troops, I definetly reccomend it that way personally, because I think MOST newcomers will bounce HARD trying to watch in pure release order.
I wouldn't say 6 anybody getting offended by any jokes in-between 1&5 can go watch Zero for safety.
I do love witnessing Washington face the insanity of red's and blue's however Church dies in this season for good the alpha and doesn't come back.
Relocated S7 is a better choice if you want to skip S1&5 for some reason. It has more of the craziness from old blood gulch even mirroring their battle with Valhalla.
@@Rebelnutt Church dies all the time, thats kind of his thing, I wouldnt say thats a major deal breaker.
and I wasnt really referring to political aging more so just, eh? kinda mid? the 1st season just isnt as funny as it used to be. The mic quality is really grating, the cinematography is very static. it really doesnt start picking up until season 3. I'm just saying it would probably be more palletable knowing it only goes up from there.
But season 7 is an even WORSE jumping on point, I have no idea what you're talking about.
The epsilon unit, tucker in the sandbase with the aliens, washington in prison, simmons and grif swapping dynamics, sarge building a holographic simulation, donut returning in delirium, that sounds like a borderline schizophrenic way to enter the series.
@@sasaki999pro The Alpha A.i Church gets emp the new church (Absalom) gets introduced at the end of s7 and getting a body at s8 end to.
I was talking about donut or tax when it came to jokes.
Caboose is just messing with equipment he interacts with the red's all the time. We don't need tucker or donut in this season.
S6 has both Delta and the meta who are practically the strongest in the entire series at this point. The entire freelancer saga is concluding here in 6 or 7 is just the reds versus blues with Delta showing up once.
@@sasaki999pro my reason for seven is because just like you're saying one through five haven't aged that well 7 is a perfect reconstruction ironically of that formula with the new engine and new writing.
Dope channel and was fun listening to this convo. Keep up the great work and holla from Croatia 🇭🇷
5:00 burnie did write each season to just end right there, but 13 was the best ending overall
Berk from Berk?
God, I remember when i got RvB season 1-5 on DVD for my birthday. Easily one of my favorite gifts in hindsight. Like, i didn't ever think about it that much, but I've rewatched those a lot.
I was personally really big into RWBY for a while (i dropped off about season 7). I was exposed to anime at a very early age, I got into RvB during season 8 when I was in middle school, and everyone in my friend group was excited about RWBY. It seemed fascinating since it was marketed as the first real anime to come from the internet. RWBY is one of those shows like Steven Universe where you know its a fucking train wreck, but you can't look away and you have to know how it ends (plus the fandom is just as shitty as SU). It really is a "sunk cost fallacy" situation, my best friend is still locked into that show and she ardently defends RWBY despite all its flaws. For me: it eventually got to a point where I knew it was going to keep meandering for another 5 seasons and I just didn't care anymore at that point. It had 7 seasons to "get good" and it never did really. There's a lot of material in RWBY that had a lot of potential (I'm sure that RWBY has inspired a lot of future works, and allegedly Miles tossed out a lot of Monty's original ideas after his passing), but the show that we got is just fucking awful.
Please go watch an actual anime like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood instead. I lost a little under a decade of my life following RWBY.
EDIT: Honestly, now that i think about it: had they just ended RvB at season 10, Rooster Teeth could've poured all their resources into RWBY and made it an actual good show. Like, RWBY always had a horrible budget for most its run, and I'm sure it maybe could've faired better had they brought more writers onto the project. Instead, they kept milking RvB dry and inevitably spread their resources too thin. Like, maintaining both shows was probably an unfeasible task (especially considering how long RvB had been running for at that point). I'm sure fans would've been burned if RWBY had replaced RvB, but at least it would've ended on a high note and the fans (hopefully) would've gotten over it. And hey, that also would've given Rooster Teeth time to come up with fresh, new ideas for RvB. Though I suppose i'm being a bit too optimistic, most fandoms are utterly insane and can get pretty entitled. Its very likely as well that the fandom could've immediately turned on Rooster Teeth had RWBY replaced RvB. Perhaps RvB should've just returned entirely to the "Bloodgulch Chronicles" style of writing for another 5 seasons. That would've probably opened up a lot of resources for Monty's project, and it would've made the OG fans happy if RvB returned to the sitcom style of storytelling.
Damn, it is WEIRD learning about fans who got into this around season 7. I'm barely old enough to have been a part of the old guard for RWBY, and season 7 was where I stopped caring at all. Strange to me to think that someones onboarding point was my off boarding point xD.
3:44 Looks like that tourneyment arc in My Hero Academia
1:14:00 No one likely wanted to bid what Warner Bros wanted was because the company is too diverse to be valuable.
No one wanted a merch delivery / animation / live action / podcast / convention / subscription service company. So it is being broken up.
roosterteeth: everyone is watching on youtube; make that annoying so they have to go to our site
random youtuber: makes a compilation of the episodes

Kind of crazy to me how many old RvB fans seem to be watching Crash. Crash really does feel like RvB for older people. It's a lot like the earlier seasons but rather than bombastic, 100 miles a minute like RvB was it's slower and weirdly melancholy at times. Still think it is finding its footing but RvB was way rougher around the edges in its first season.
I wish they could make episodes faster
great episode, thanks boys
Great podcast.
Great video, spot on with pretty much everything. I will say in defence of the final rvb 'season', even though it wasn't good, I think it was the right thing at the right time considering the context of rvb as a series and rooster teeth as a company.
Oh shoot, a TWRP fan out in the wild. Cool!
It's not even the Halo franchise RvB relies on cuz we would have been completely fine with a new story with even different characters in like H2 or reach engine nobody would have complained.
However it does have to have characters that we like just like orange team that he mentions I remember them slightly and yet it was a decent episode and I got to know those characters and it was pretty much let down that they were killed off.
Hear me out.... Red versus Blue Halo game!
Didn’t the art director of slave zero X clear some things up when it came to the writing that the devs worked really closely with the og devs of the original game?
I wish I knew more of his choice of background music in these videos, they're oddly nice.
Seasons 2 and a part of season 3 RWBY absolutely killed it for the scrap budget they had because Monty. Literally Monty passing away somehow did so much fucking damage for that company because the savant visionary behind animation work for two of their shows died. In tandem the main creators stepping away from RVB
The background music really brings the mood down. My wake up call to pop culture politics shifting away from me, was when they got rid of Joel for what was ....a joke.
Also don't forget when the allegations came out about the nickname thing. People dug out old tweet of Gavin gaslighting Twitter to use the nickname
Maaaan yeah I remember when I like checked out. Watching the RT podcast and hearing another rant about the airport and flying felt hella unrelatable and I just never came back
It is wild that wild that VIZ bought RBWY so the vtuber is still a thing, I think.
I stopped at the H3 asset of the RvB series, I'm glad I didn't stick around long enough
I want more of these please
Commenting part way during the RvB stuff, but I gotta disagree with the show should’ve ended earlier, except 13 that was actually a really good ending that capped off the character arcs pretty well and ended with a phenomenal speech from church. The first 5 seasons are classics that kill me everytime but I think the show wouldn’t have any real legacy without 6-13, that’s the actual soul of the show.
Many years it's been a decade

Real ones remember the “Connect the Hots” controversy
explain
@@gary7867 on a (now deleted) Let’s Build for the Portal House from back in the Minecraft let’s play days, Geoff and Gavin describe to Ryan (lol) a game they would play on their way to work called Connect the Hots. Basically, while in the car, one of them would call out a hot chick on the sidewalk, and they would slow down and follow her direction, until they saw another hot chick.
Obviously they got a ton of shit for this, and they ended up deleting the video while playing it like “obviously we were joking, we’d totally NEVER do that!” I remember a lot of AH fans defending it at the time, but honestly looking back at it, I’m genuinely shocked they thought it was a good idea to keep it in the video at all. It’s one thing to come up with a game that involves stalking random women in public; it’s another to record yourself, give an endorsement of it (even if facetious), and post it for the public on the internet. They deserve all the shit they got for it imo

I disagree with your take on early RWBY, but I can see where you come from. I cared more about the cool animation than the story anyway.
It's why I like video games more than I do movies. The story is just the simple vehicle to get to the gameplay. Rule of cool matters
But the animation wasn't event that good. It was like PS2 grade... you just had garbage taste as a kid 😂
@AB0BA_69 I'd even contest that. Games like mgs3, devil may cry and others had great animation back during the ps2 era. Both during gameplay and specially during cutscenes, it's just that RT had zero budget for most of its life.
@@Kydino So RWBY had PS1 levels of animation then? Sure, agreed!
Tbh, it's kinda wild to me that you don't like season 9 of rvb
It does have problems the freelancer ark well seeing both South and North Dakota kick ass in the first scene was awesome even Carolina getting her spotlight and was mentioned.
I do like how the simulation has turned red team personalities around even giving the blue team the tank probably because of church other than that there's not much to this series the freelancer ark drags on other than introducing the AIs nothing really happens and I believe there's an entire miniseries that goes nowhere season
My favorite moment is from the season with text Chuck in the flash grenade at blue team and all of them were asking who it is some classic season 3 comedy there.
The ending is pretty morbid all the characters the ones we've been following this entire season die perhaps the blue team on Sheila are still roaming around however I'm pretty sure the red team had the mountain crushed their base.
Most likely griff being the only survivor take a nap and being trapped inside with the provisions slowly losing his mind pros likely taking his own life.
kinda sorta wish they killed off Grif in the ending, I felt like he's been managed kinda poorly after season 8. He should've deserved a good end similar to Church, only because he has a good character arc and has come a long way, at least from reason 1-8. He went from the lazy guy we know to a guy that was willing to stick it out for his friends. After that he was just the comic relief and a joke. When he went to save his friends in season 15, it didn't seem like the team was happy that he was there (except simmons of course) They could've done so much more like they did with Tucker where he could be a much more improved and great version of himself. That's been my big gripe with RvB since season 9.
I wouldn't go that far Griff was the first to call on Carolina's bull crap especially with Church on saying that they saved him.
Even in Chuors his team was the only one to fully survive by telling them to duck which is the complete opposite of Sarge who gets his entire team killed.
Red Vs Blue, Its xbox's Stupid Mario Bros
Red Vs Blue season 1-5, the golden era.
Red Vs Blue (Halo 3) era, it was kinda mediocre.
Red Vs Blue (Reach), this is beyond boring to watch.
Red Vs Blue (Halo 4 and 5) struggling to care or even watch..
I liked all of RvB until Zero, but I respect your opinions
Joel was fired because he stopped going into work, not because of some tweets.
No he was fired from the tweets they had an entire section on the broadcast about it.
I love all your videos except for this one. This is probably the WORST and IGNORANT opinions I've heard.
The fact you said around the start of Rwby and Rvb S9 were the bad signs, is insane, because it was actually the Peak.
Not saying everything is perfect, but it's far from how bad you two were putting it out to be lol.

@@conkerN6428Listen man I love the freelancer Saga my favorite moment is in it with the blue team asking about the grenade on the ground.
It does have problems we have a twelve episode mini series that went nowhere and other than meeting the A.I's nothing really happened other then hyping up Carolina.
I found RvB season 9 hard to watch personally. The fact that half of it is a bunch of new characters who are all super serious and none of whom really stand out, a heavy emphasis on the CG animation whereas in season 8 it was pretty cleverly integrated, and the fact it just takes itself so seriously just lost me. At the very least I enjoyed the Church half of the season.
The freelancers were the straight men of the setting in prior seasons, consisting of a bunch of cliches and such, and it worked because they provided contrast against the main cast. When you actually get down to it, the freelancers just aren't that interesting on their own. It's not funny enough to have the same appeal as prior RvB seasons, and it doesn't hold up on its own as a semi serious story.
@@Kira-ji2ft They're not really "new" characters though. They were just more background/side characters brought to the forefront.
York was introduced in Out of Mind.
The director and councillor were in season 6.
theres like maybe 4 "new" characters in the entire season at best. And thats if you dont count the off hand references to the characters throughout the series, we Knew North and South were twins and South betrayed him.
We knew about carolina being lost during the break in.
We knew C.t. was originally a female freelancer.
It was basically just the "Lore Nerds" season.
