Better maps with thinner line widths in QGIS

  • When making maps, it's often the little things that make a big difference. Line width is one of these things. It's called stroke width in the QGIS symbology settings but take a look at this video to see what I mean.
    Thick outlines when you have lots of small areas close together can often lead to a somewhat cluttered, unappealing map - so try to experiment with this and don't just use the defaults.
