How do you prevent a current catchment area from lying on the map as the previous catchment you have worked on? I tried working on different projects but they all end up lapping together

On the top panel you can see pdf and jpg icons. Click on your preferred format and save it by specifying DPI great than 300. Then simply import the jpg map to your word doc.

Google your locations coordinates. Alternatively if you have smart phone, use its GPS at your location.
