Great job Jack! Part of being a prospector is being able to fabricate equipment on the go brother. You are the master.👍😎🎩⚒️G.P.

Great video ! It would be interesting to see a comparison video of Dry Washing out in the desert 🏜 with a recirculating gold cube catching the Keene tailings ?

Thanks Jack. Innovative episode. I appreciate your efforts. You mentioned using soap in the cube to start….i think….wouldnt that change the surface tension? I dunno, just a different thought. You stop the gold. That’s the important part. Still getting dirty out here in AZ too. I’m 80…a little slower now.

You are an inspiration to me. Who knows maybe I'll be retired as a snowbird prospector in winter instead of frying like bacons in a pan all day long on a Florida beach.

Jack, try this. Set up the Gold Cube so that you have the Gold Fox trommel and the slick plate and then ONE Dream Mat tray (Mini is the best size for this unless it's all flour gold) and then run that material as fast as you can pour it in the hopper. Do five 5-gallon buckets of material as fast as possible. Give it a few minutes to clean itself out with water flow. Then see what it catches and what's left in the tailings. I think it will blow your mind.

Arizona is full of treasure. My dog was digging for a rabbit under the shed. She discovered a big pocket of the high grade turquoise. I moved the shed and got busy making money.

Here’s a question can you over load the gold cube? I have problems with my pumps not pumping what I would consider the correct amount of water through the system and iv added extra pumps to try and help. The 1100 only worked well when it was newer. Also how often to you replace the pumps I think mine are worn from the sand in the recirculating system

      Pumps gen last forever almost.
Some do have a replacement cartridge.
Some you can take apart and clean weeds, rocks etc out of the fins.
Yes you can over load but as long as there’s enough sluice to clean it self out you should be ok.
      Good luck.

Or, set it up and run directly into the feeder of a goldfox trommel mounted on the cube stack. That way you wont be running a bunch of coarse material directly through the cube.

Have you ever done any prospecting in the California desert? How does it compare to the Arizona desert as for the amount of gold?

I’ve Drywashed in the mother load before in some washes. Same type of material

You are losing a lot of gold doing it like that! Most of your gold went into that catch tub you dumped out.
