I'm just patiently waiting for the next new game to come out. This is Definitely something gamers go thur sometimes. I tried to take a break from gaming. That worked for me and I got my groove back. I’ve had this before but nowhere near the amount I’m having it right now. It’s really odd. I’d say this is the first time I’ve had full burnout. I’m going to keep truckin’ along though! 😎
This definitely sounds like a gaming burnout. I know it myself. It started in my early to mid 20's. At first i thought it was just collecting burnout (i used to be a retro collector, accumulating up to 400 game across over 25 games consoles), but as time passes, i started thinking that it was just a gaming burnout in general. I'm currently at the age of 30, and my position is still the same as it was many years ago. I have no idea whether or not gaming fatigue can be cured....nor do i really care whether it could even be cured or not. I still play games here and there, but i rarely play for long, nor do i look forward much in anything gaming related. Maybe a title or two, but that's it. I still have my PS3, a cheap gaming PC to play games that came out around 2010 or older (or some more recent game, albeit at medium-to-low setting) and i'm not looking to get a PS5 or the Xbox Series X or whatever else. I'm now at the point where i'm pretty much satisfy with the few game i have left (i got rid of 99% of all my games)....and that it's. So yeah, it's not just you.
Appreciate you sharing all of that! I’m also 30 and I will admit, it seems like every year that passes there are more and more new releases that I consider “not for me” or “not my thing”. I am still excited for a lot of games though. I notice more spans of time that I consider “droughts” in releases. But, that could also just be a timing problem on my part. My burnout HAS gotten better since making this video, but the scrolling through my library aimlessly still happens often 😂. Thanks for taking the time to watch and for your personal input!
@@SOALgaming No problem buddy :) When it come for the aimless library scrolling, deleting some game that you never play may not be the solution to end all solution, but it help to reduce the ' 'endless scrolling' '. I know it's not much, but i hope this trick could help.
Solid advice! Been playing a lot of games with my nephew lately. So I think I may need the opposite? A killer single player game with engaging gameplay and interesting story might do the trick. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm sort of in a funk where I play WoW or Destiny and thats literally it. I have dozens of other games that I just can't seem to stick with. Maybe it is the time of year. Summer is usually a bummer season for releases anyways. I guess what I'm saying is I have no fucking clue and I wish I could help lmaoo
AGREED!! This summer, to me, has been the worst for some reason. Can’t quite put a finger on it. I AM pumped about the latter half of the year though!!
