My friend who spent her childhood in tanzania told me her school was mostly white kids so I’m assuming there’s a lot of white people brought up or born there.
I would like to know your story also of how you met and living in Tanzania. I love watching y’all’s videos. I’m just so taken by them. You are so pretty and y’all make such a cute couple.
Ray is from Tanzania and her she’s Russian ..they don’t live in Tanzania ..I don’t thank tey stationed in any country ..meanin they move from one country to another ..they were in china ..i Uganda ..in Congo ..in Kenya
hi i just discovered your tiktok and immediately went to your youtube channel. great that you live in Tanzania, im from the netherlands and i have been to Tanzania 6 times with my dad and maybe we are going again this summer. i really miss tanzania when i watch your videos but it is also very comforting. i really love it there and come to life when im there. we always go to dodoma because my dad's friend has a childs home there for kids without parents.
No salt in ugali. Ugali has very nice taste. it's an acquired taste. You have to get used to eating it. ugali is not eaten with spoon.. We love ugali. It's a favourite in East African countries
**HELLO👋😃**.....LOL. I FOUND YOU GUYS YESTERDAY AND STARTED WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS.....AND I AM ADDICTED !!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 !!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS ALREADY !!! I AM WATCHING FROM NIAGARA FALLS, CANADA.** 🇨🇦 ❤️ 🇨🇦 ❤ 🇨🇦 ❤ 🇨🇦 ❤ 🇨🇦 **I LOVE TO SEE HOW LIFE IS IN YOUR COUNTRY !! KEEP DOIN' WHAT YOUR DOIN' GUYS !! HA HA HA....ITS SOOO FUN TO WATCH !!**
love how you guys sell fruits. I'm from Papua New Guinea and we Papua Newguineans use to sell things on streets like this too. You guys are amazing 👍😊.
Oh boy, i see all the places where we went...my husband and i lived in Mbezi 1 hour from dar...for 4 years..missing so many things (i only came back 1 year ago) Is Jay Tanzanian? You guys are absolutely great!!!!❤
You are a wonferful! Couple, truly gifted! Dancers.. I love! Your video's and often wish I could dance as you both, so wonderfully and gracefully do.. Maybe in the future you could do actual dancing tutorials😊👍🏻👍🏻 in September I will be turning 60 and I would love! To learn💗😊 you always hear 2 things in life..# 1 age is just a number, and # 2 you're never too old to learn😊 so!😊.. If you do decide to do tutorials if! You could do it so like maybe Ray dances facing the camera and you with your back to the camera as though we are in a studio and you are in front of us because it's hard for some is us to learn while you face us because it's like our brains are having to learn backwards. I live the vibe you both share, it is SO FULL of Joy!, Fun!, Love!, and Happiness I love that you came all the way from Denmark to Tanzania 🇹🇿 and met Ray, that is what I think you're calling him, he is wonderful I think 2 very sweet and kind hearted people living worlds apart were blessed to find each other, Isabel an amazing, potential, husband, and for you Ray, a equally amazing wife😊💕 It is my hope that you will marry and live a long, healthy, happy, and prosperous life together💕 your children would be truly! Blessed to have such fun, living, kind, and happy parents💗 I feel they would be SO lived by you both, and the beautiful people you are blessed to call friends and family😊 Isabel what brought you to Tanzania? 🇹🇿 Ray how did you and Isabel, I'm sorry if I'm spelling your name incorrectly, please do correct me, my son's name is Tafari(pronounced TAFF-FAR-EYE) And I don't like when people mispronounce his name, they say Taferty, tafaree.. So please forgive me and! Yes.. Do correct me. Please continue spreading LOVE, JOY, KINDNESS, COMPASSION, PEACE, and HAPPINESS together in these videos, to a world that is broken, mean, disconnected, and sadly becoming colder. Your parents must be so proud of you both.. Praying God's perfect will be yours always😊💗
I would literally bet ANYTHING that Ray would EXPLODE on all platforms if he started impersonating stereotypes of African Moms! I've been with my African beau for 10 years and I didn't meet his Mom until year 2. I was petrified because of how important she is to my bf and me! Plus Ray is HILARIOUS!!!!
J'aurai aimer regarder cette vidéo jusqu'à la fin mais,je n'ai fermé les yeux à force de regarder vos vidéos.Vous êtes géniaux.Félicitations à vous les jeunes !
I am Tanzanian and my husband is Romanian - they have something similar to ugali and they put salt in their version. So i wasn’t surprised hearing Isabella suggesting to add salt
That’s how its supposed to be maaaann! Know so many people in Nam, SA and co. who know no native language at all, who prefer to stay in their white bubble and not integrate into the local cultures. At some point we have to stop separating and start celebrating. I lived in Namibia with an Oshivambo family, they gave me traditional clothes and taughted me some Oshivambo. With all the cultural appropriation debate I grew scared of wearing these, I felt more separated than ever to my friends. But this whole debate is centered in America and Europe, I know nobody in Nam who actually shares this view. Why should we let Europeans and Americans dictate us how separated we should live?
I get what you mean with appropriation - being a Native of the Americas being Ojibwe- cultural appropriation is NOT you honoring or sharing in their culture. You were gifted those clothes wear them and wear them proudly. Speaking on a Native aspect where my culture has been appropriated by England and Americas for many many moons! Example an actual Halloween costume of Native regalia. How disrespectful is that? Or the headdress that is again used as a costume for a sports team- the beat one Washington red skins. Need I go on?!! That is appropriating the Native culture. Yet using our medicines like Sage- which is widely used and known as a cleanser! Spiritual cleanse. Where you think that knowledge came from? This medicine is honored and used appropriately. There for not appropriating. It’s all in the approach- the use- the intention- ect. Wear them clothes you were blessed with- hold your head high- & walk in honor wearing them- hence WHY you were gifted these items.
I've never thought about going to Tanzania or any of the other places you visit, but it's now 100% on my bucket list. Thank you for opening up the world to this little country girl.
Please the story of how u met, fell in love- u r such a high energy, talented, smart, beautiful couple. Would love to hear every detail from the second u met until now.
I was in Somalia in 1985 and because my husband was " busy " the whole day with " meetings " with the men from the family about transportation..the family lorry..spare parts etc..I stayed inside the house...felt miserabele of doing nothing..untill some young girls came to me and asking polited if I would like to help them with their Enghlish grammar lessons and ofcorse I did and liked to help them and having a duty for myself in Africa..! I could not beeing a " housewife " only over there..neither in the Netherlands where I am living now as I am born here..! So..I would say..Teach Ray English lessons first..then relax .! Lol 17:08
You guys just reminded me of a Spanish friend Iwe were teaching how to cook ugali but here in Malawi we call it nsima. It's the same thing and we follow the same steps for preparing it. She also wanted the nsima/ugali to have salt. We managed to convince her not to add salt in the pot but rather she ate with salt still.
