Supported her so much that they expected her to work her butt off to pay them back? Yeah okay…
@@saramarie9678 this comment is very judgmental .. see, ppl from mediterranean countries are very possessive with their children, would not allow such a trip she made, would force her to finish her study.. and pay them everything with no refund needed .. ppl from countries in the north are way more free with gap year and responsible choise starting from 18yo or earlier, but you are also responsible for your money ! None is better

This woman is the definition of a “free spirit”
I'm in my 70s. And, because what I've experienced on this planet, I PRAY, PRAY, PRAY that she can STAY a free spirit. There is a saying of Prophet Muhammad's:
"You should go through this life as if you're just passing through."
My teen years in the U.S. were the very opposite, because there was so much social turmoil then.
TO ISABELL AFRO: STAY AS YOU ARE!!! NEVER CHANGE!!! Continue to dance yo ASS off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed, a free spirit. I completely agree with you !
I strongly agree
What a cute couple too!

How is it living in Tanzania vs Costa Rica ?
@@louintheworld Neither know how to cook. Hahahah! BUT TZ more multicultural with alot of Indian and Omani influecne that saves it. VERY similar weather. MUCH cheapter in TZ. I'm paying $200 a month for 2 bedroom house overlooking the Indian Ocean. In 2006 I was paying $150 for similar in Costa Rica. Both areas were off the beaten track. So.... not much English spoken unless you're in a city in both places. Lots of Americans in CR. It really depends what you're looking for?

So true. 💜
That’s literally why she went. Did you not listening to the story? She paid (some outland is some of money trust me because I’ve looked into it) they target these first world nations from usually rich/upper middle-class white women. Then charge insane amounts of money for them to go out there and build houses or sometimes spread gospel.
((OooOoo yes they are usually groups of like 20+ so The individual is organizing these things are making like $200,000 in a month and they build like one house for a poor family))
They live in small tents essentially and give the “volunteers” almost nothing to eat. But they pay $7-10,000 to go out there for something like six weeks. Yrs ago that was the cost I’m sure it’s probably higher now. (((this money would have gone over 1,000x further if had just sent it to individual families & projects))) The point is that you’re paying for the experience and a post a bunch of photos on your social media about how you care about the world and you’re helping people less fortunate than yourself.
For that same amount I was able to build wells for 3 ENTIRE villages & a school.
Wow so so true
Not going to lie, I love how she embraced yall too👌🏾.
I also like african beat. I have an african friend. Kizz Dsniel some songs i like and Im hispanic.
Isabell,
I had seen some of your videos before, and I came across this video of how you ended up where you are. I absolutely love your heart for people of all backgrounds and the way you connect with people. You are such an inspiration, and I am thankful that when I see you, I do not see color, but rather a young woman with a gift. God has blessed you tremendously!
I also want to commend your parents. When you stated that they loaned you the money to travel, I realized that they had set you up to be responsible and self-sufficient. The fact that you went back to Denmark to work to pay them back is commendable. Here in the United States, there is sadly a culture of entitled children and young adults with no vision, no sense of purpose, and no desire to work hard for what they want. You show to the world that you work hard to have the life you desire and that you don't do it on the backs of anyone else.
I believe that God created each and every one of us for a purpose. We can not try to tell others what their purpose is or should be, but we should strive to know what WE OURSELVES are here for. I have to say I believe you may very well be living in your purpose, that being to serve as a beautiful, kind, and loving bridge between cultures and continents.
I applaud and respect you, and thank you so very much for sharing your story and your gift with the world.

I’m 50 years old and live in Australia 🇦🇺 and I love watching your videos, they are not just for young people! Us older folk, like to live vicariously through your journey. It’s fascinating to see how other people live their lives, and it often sparks me into thinking how I would live if given another chance to be young again. I definitely would have travelled before starting a family, and seen more of the world. I have only travelled to America and ended up living in New York for 8 years. We are home in Australia now, and I wish I had the money to travel, but I don’t, and I can’t work to earn money now either. The fact she takes in so much love from so many different cultures that most would be afraid to.. I see those babies smiling when they dance with her, it's amazing 😊
You have a point
what do you mean by most would be afraid to? Africa is full of warm and vibrant cultures. The negative portrayal u see on social media is not an accurate representation of Africa, and the "fear" you have is based off of ignorance and misinformation.
@@Atlas-tp8dw meaning she's not sticking to just the tourist spots and actually enjoying outside of everything.
I don’t think that she meant it in a negative way. I would be afraid, a single woman traveling to unknown places alone
@Atlas-tp8dw she was not wrong when she said fear. And you were not wrong to say missinformation.
For us humans, fear mostly stems from the things we don't know yet. The unknown.
Which is why what isabella did is considered brave.
This is not about africa per se, it's about a venture to the unknown to the person.
It's a feeling we get when we go to somewhere new, or experience something new.
Not everyone can be so lucky to do what they love. You followed your heart, no matter how hard it got. You kept at it and it brought you here! What a wonderful life you’ve created for yourself. Love your story.

@lauracanadasdelacruz3063 Exactly! Hopefully, she's paying these children in these videos.
@@TWLogikdid you watch the video? And wasn’t even getting paid at first! Kids love dancing just as much as her.
@lauracanadasdelacruz3063 bringing joy to people, she Also donates time and money, she volunteered in an freaking orphanage in Africa it doesn't get any more inspiring than that! She Also dances with people and kids from all walks of life bringing them together and making us smile. Does that answer your question? What have you done today?
@@lauracanadasdelacruz3063 working with kids? Why do people troll in comments. If you don't agree with someone's thought, move the hell on 🙏
I lived in Paris (from CA) when I was 18 and your story reminds me of being young and adventurous. You are an inspiration! Stay centered in your heart ( but I don’t have to tell you that.) All I can say is Great Work and Bless you both.
You are so aligned my dear...! This is why things are "working with you", no matter where you go. You are highly magnetic and in a beautiful reciprocal relationship with life.
Your purity shines right through everything you do, everywhere you go. You radiate joy & gratitude, which is truly what this world needs more of! This brightens up people's life. Thank you for being you. Doing you. It is awesome. ❤
Beautiful inside and out. You deserve all the success, you radiate so much positivity.
I love your open mindedness. Waiting to hear how you met Ray.
So happy to see that you are making all your dreams come true. Hard work does pay off. Thanks for letting us tag along. Much love from New Jersey, USA. 💃🏼🕺🏿
Oh my gosh ! Thank you for the back story. I think it's so awesome to see you live your life how you want to live. So many people are miserable, including myself, having to commit to a job they absolutely hate. Please continue living your life how you want. Don't get trapped by materialistic things. Enjoy and I'll continue watching you and your family!!
Isabella , your story has made me cry and smile. It’s wonderful to know that beautiful things Do happen for beautiful people. ❤
We would like to hear how you met Ray. To be honest we started watching because we saw you with Ray. He is a great dancer and you two make a good convination in African music. Thank you for sharing your story. Now don't forget to tell us about your relationship with Ray

Yea that's why I kept watching. She's the third white girl I've seen on RUclips who moved to Africa and dated locally. Intriguing.
I watched before I even knew she had a boyfriend I don't even know his name and don't really care I came for her and the kids!
