@The Cat nOO the point of the comment was that it was supposed to be out of context 😪
Ok so, as someone who has actually worked in TV, I can clue you in on the "Bleep Button"! If the show is being shot live, there is indeed a big red button, and if someone slips up or if someone calls into the show and starts cussing the host out, I can push the button. The live show had a 10 second delay, so I have a 10 second window to push that button and bleep the sound. The show I worked on actually didn't make a "bleep" sound. It just garbled the audio or would silence it. That is only for a live show, though. Otherwise, we would indeed "bleep" in post or just cut out an entire sentence altogether if we didn't think it was appropriate.
Woah, that’s so cool!
Why even put in the show if everyone is so goddamn sensitive
IfYouMeetAWolf What does that have to do with anything?
Which show?
What happens if you don't catch it in time? Once I was watching a live show on MTV and they censored most of the swearing but a few F bombs clearly slipped through.
This is absolutely the greatest episode of Arthur. I managed a children’s indoor playground for a little while and we always had the lobby TV set to PBS kids and this episode was on one afternoon. All the adults were laughing so hard 😂

I remember this episode very clearly. There’s a lot of episodes that I watched in my childhood that I remember vividly including the lice episode, the one where they had the Halloween episode, the one where Arthur & Francine got locked up in the library, the one where everyone thought Brain was a bug, etc.
the last one I have a book somewhere here-I misplaced it (too many books)- that inspired that Bug eposide. Since a focus of the show orignally was to get Children to read. So some of the stories which been shown or mentioned in "The short, summer"- Arthur after founding his list- imaged himself in Treasure Island, and in Gulliver's Travellers. The one with Binky Chasing the Butteryfly mentions Moby Dick, The one where we all learn "not to cry over spill milk", mentions Oliver Twist, of course the Libary card one mentions a lot, including Jeyell and Hyde, a later epoisde which started Fern had Fern do her own take on Frakenstien story, of course there's the Robin Hood legend!
You actually remember specific episodes of tv you watched as a kid? I can’t even remember episodes of shows I watched a month ago. I didn’t watch Arthur that much as a kid but I watched SpongeBob a lot and I can’t think of a single episode even though I know there was episodes I watched hundreds of times. All I can remember are locations with a vague idea of a scene. I can’t think of an episode of any tv show that I watched more than a week ago. The best I got is just the words “the episode they did this thing”, no actual memory, just the words.
I don’t remember them at all until I’m reminded of them and it all clicks in

The last unicorn.
That movie was such a crazy experience and I remembered so little about it that I was genuinely surprised to discover it actually existed recently.
D.W.'s imaginary friend whenever she gets in trouble after helping her: " Aight, Im out have fun"
Yup lol
They hire a psychic to bleep out words live.
Weston Kenyon Music Nah. There’s like a 15 second delay to give editors time to censor inappropriate things that slip out during live tv.
@@okayfloatstudios3097 I meant live as in as the movie is being filmed, but that was interesting to know.
Scott: “okay say it with me, with great power comes great”
Me: “responsibl-“
Scott: “encumbrance.”
Me: *o-oh. Okay*
I did the same thing 😂
Carley _Aleese lmfao I was hurt af

When I was six, I vividly remember watching a construction show with my dad and asking why a truck kept backing up in the background because I didn’t understand why there was constant beeping.

I think the word is "f**ker", but tbh many two-syllable swears could work
In the playground scene, the kids where saying things like "You look like an *bleep*" so it doesn't really seem like it would be fucker. I think its aomething along the lines of asshat or asshole
Panda Illusion it didn’t really sound like “an”. Also, “what in *bleep-*”
N word
The n word
@@mebanks-smith9079 lmaooo 💀💀💀💀😂😂😂😂
The word that the teenage kid said I think is "asshole"? 2 syllables? Offensive? Seems to fit to me
Bethanny B that’s what I’m thinking
I’m thinking it’s the n word, super offensive, and 2 syllables
Nah it's not the n word I feel like its asshole or "dumb bitch"
❤️
It seems to fit but sometimes needs a bit of lube.
Author: We’re going to use bleeps to teach kids that cussing is wrong.
Star Wars The Clone Wars: Hey kids! Can you say hell and damn?
Those are hardly cuss words lol
@@emmy_corgi8809 I’m not going off of the average person standards, I’m going off of the standards of studio censorship.
Exclaiming “hell” and “damn” is nothing compared to the deaths and explosions in Star Wars(especially the live action films)
@@bradenhendrickson3412 to be honest I still don’t know how The Clone Wars was able to get away with all of the things in the show and still be considered TV-Y7
